Top 10 Mudvayne Songs
Before you listen to this song, turn out all the lights, lie down on your bed, close your eyes, and let yourself get lost in the music. This song is absolutely mesmerizing from start to finish. First Mudvayne song I heard, and I fell in love with it straight away.
This song takes me through a rollercoaster ride of emotions. One moment I'm smashing my head against the wall, and the next moment I'm grinning like a madman.
Pure love feeling. Man, I love this song. Can't deny it's hardcore, but it also makes me feel alive, like I said.
Happy? is a great song, but seriously, this is Mudvayne's anthem! Amazing drums, guitar/bass, and vocals especially. This is when Chad Gray's vocals were spot on perfect, and I still listen to this on the go because it just pumps me up for anything. Another way of describing this is the Wait and Bleed of Mudvayne. It's that good.
Every song of Mudvayne is unique. All songs are perfect, and all are the best. All songs are #1 forever. Mudvayne is the best nu metal band ever! I voted for this song because this is the first song I heard by Mudvayne and the first metal song I liked. LD 50 is one of the greatest albums of all time, and this song is the best from LD 50.
Frickin' eargasm from start to finish. This song is a cry out for all elderly people that go unheard. It must live on into future generations to share the frustration of aging.
This song is just perfect in every way. Beasty guitar riffs, nice drumming, and Chad's voice in this song is the best. He does his normal growls mixed in with a perfect melodic voice in the chorus. And the lyrics are pretty great also.
Such a great song. Goes from 50 to 100 very fast, and it's awesome!
"Not Falling" is an inspirational song. Every time I hear it, it makes me realize that all my problems in the world can't get me down. "I stand not crawling, not falling down." It is the best song ever. All Mudvayne's songs kick ass, but this one is just the bomb. My second favorite is "Determined," then "Happy?," then "Dig." They are all very uplifting to me, and I don't know what my world would be without Mudvayne!
People! Before you vote, listen to this song and then vote! I give you a 100% guarantee that this song is AWESOME. The drums are really cool. The vocals are beautiful. All in the making of a song that'll surely make you move to the beats.
This is another one of my favorites by Mudvayne, not because it's in the movie Saw but because it simply kicks ass!
I especially like the part where he says, "I feel it on the inside, twisting and contorting, the memory has changed me, once again, will I ever forget to remember?"
"Thoughtlessness, selfishness, hopelessness, arrogant"
"Emptiness, loneliness, worthless"
A work of art in the flesh is what this song is.
Literally one of the catchiest metal songs ever conceived and decently heavy as well as balanced. Chad Gray is an exceptionally talented vocalist and deserves more credit.
One of the great songs which helped me cope with depression.
All elements are present in this song.
Best head-banging song they created. Even better in concert!
1, 2, 3. Goo!
Every ingredient required to make it the best!
This song is fast and very heavy. It's awesome. It's better than Dig, although Dig is great too.
This song is amazing! It has so much heart! Just sit down and read its lyrics. Trust me, you'll never be the same again!
Life submissiveness,
Hypnotizing the ignorant, a little boy's best friend's always his
Mother,
At least that's what she said,
Life of a simple man,
Taught that everyone else is dirty,
And their love is meaningless,
I'm just a soiled dirty boy,
I'm just a soiled dirty boy.
My favorite by far! Second would be Dig. This song, for those of you who don't know, is about the serial killer Ed Gein, who killed women and wore their faces. The lyrics have quite a different meaning once you know that.
Fall Into Sleep from Mudvayne pretty much summed up how humanity has fallen when immorality becomes morality. Humans became lost, and they think their own systems of thought may work. Sadly, they misguided themselves. The world is full of violence. Bad morals became useless, and it gets worse every day. It's a world dominated by sin. We're imperfect humans, and we can't stop making mistakes.
One of the few Mudvayne songs without f-bombs dropped. Think about it: these lyrics are so relevant today, and not everyone seems to care about the heavy metal band. Chad Gray puts a lot of heart and soul into it with real talent.
This song is a true hidden gem. The chorus section of this song, with its combination of riffing and screaming, is magnificent and deserves to be labeled a legendary moment in history.
This was the first Mudvayne song I heard, and the first metal song that I couldn't understand the words to. Very unique vocals. Seriously.
Some of Mudvayne's best music and rawest emotional lyrics. I'm very confused about how it's not even in the top 10.
This was my New Year's song. I love this song. It's beast, and it means a lot.
This song is my favorite by Mudvayne, though I like all of their songs. Chad Gray's vocals in this song are simply the most emotional scream I have ever heard.
That scream is just so deep and meaningful, as though he's in agony and pain. It sends shivers down my spine each time I listen to it.
What I like about Mudvayne is that Chad Gray goes from singing softly to some heavy vocals. For example:
"Come on, step out! Of your rind, assemble strength!"
Now for my favorite part: "I divorce iniquity in this bull life!"
"Just want to run away to die, take it, myself, my life, textbook mental off me and pitch me in a hooollleee!"
This song says so much about how messed up our world is and how much pain and broken trust we go through every day. Truly, it is sad.
Chad Gray is sick of this life, and I am too. I'm positive everyone else is also.
I loved this song so much that I learned how to play it on guitar.
This song is so underrated. It is just full of rage and anger. Just listen to it, and you will know this song is one of Mudvayne's best.
The rap breakdown is enough to diss Eminem to the point of no return.
Why this was not on the list already blows my mind. Without a doubt their best song. Just is -- The End.
This song is awesome. It at least belongs in the 30s if not higher. It's very catchy, one of Mudvayne's more upbeat songs, yet still heavy.
Been in love with this song ever since the first time I heard it. Definitely should be higher on this list!
Not sure why this song is at 20. Deserves a top 5 spot for sure.
Listen here:
How is "Silenced" back here? The lyrics are so inspiring and thoughtful. McDonough's drumming, especially during the bridge, is top class and goes perfectly with Martinie's bass. The riffs are ON POINT!
I could agree that Chad's vocals could be a little bit better, and so could the mixing, but how about this song for an album opener? The stopping and starting is math metal at its finest. Throw in some catchy rhythms and you've got yourself one heck of a song.
"Sticker this, censor this, ban this, we've got something to say! Police this, condemn this, damn this, we'll be heard anyway! Middle finger is the flag that I wave when I'm SILENCED!"
Such a classic.
Hands down their best song ever. Most people can't be expected to know good music when they hear it, so I understand why it isn't on the list.
