Top 10 Countries with the Best TV Shows
The United States has produced many of my favorite TV series, and I find them extremely funny and lighthearted, along with romance, thrill, and drama. A few of my favorites are The Vampire Diaries, Friends, How I Met Your Mother, The Big Bang Theory, Suits, 2 Broke Girls, New Girl, Modern Family, The Originals, Legacies, Sherlock Holmes, etc. And the list goes on.
Simply the best. Hollywood can be termed as the mother of movies.
Simpsons and Regular Show are the only two shows I care about.
It reflects the reality of our lives. Additionally, the dialogues are so romantic that you won't need any physical action to feel the romantic scenes.
Pakistani dramas are very well-scripted and always reflect the real side of society. There is no fantasy element in them, which can sometimes feel a little boring if you are only watching Pakistani dramas. However, they are much better than those of many other countries.
The most important thing is that you can enjoy them with all of your family members because they are family-friendly series. Additionally, they have a small number of episodes, so they won't bore you.
I can only watch British or Irish shows! Maybe the odd one from the Aussies or our NZ friends, and only The Simpsons from the US. But the top two are my favorites!
Britain has the best telly. They make the best shows and bring in the top shows from around the world.
I only watched three British TV series, but I liked them and was obsessed with them.
After watching anime, I find Dorama to be great, especially the story. I'm not going to mention if the acting wasn't smooth and the cinematography and visuals look cheap, but it's just good. You're going to love it.
All my childhood shows were dubbed Japanese animes. They are cartoons that really have stories, unlike the new ones that involve a bunch of animals that talk to each other and have literally no consistent story. I still rewatch dubbed Japanese animes until today. They are as cool as movies.
How is this not No. 1? Anime is watched around the world! There are so many good ones, for example: Fire Force, Dragon Ball series, JoJo Series, One Piece, Attack on Titan, and more!
They produce my second favorite dubbed dramas. They can sometimes be annoying because they slow down the scenes and make them very tense. A one-second scene might become 10 minutes.
They are very depressing and tense. You start worrying about what will happen as if you are in the movie. Some series won't finish because their length is more than the length of your lifetime. Therefore, the most I watched was 200 episodes.
Zoya was the main character. I forgot the name of the movie, but as soon as she dies, her daughter continues the story. When that happened, I just stopped watching.
I love South Korean TV shows because the K-Dramas offer a window into Korean culture, traditions, and lifestyle. The portrayal of cultural nuances, food, fashion, and societal expectations provides viewers with a rich experience.
I also love them for their diverse genres. One of the main appeals of Korean cinema is that there's something for everyone, from romantic comedies to action movies, dramas, and thought-provoking social commentaries. Even if you didn't enjoy the last Korean movie you watched, it doesn't mean you won't find one you do like.
I love Turkish TV shows because of their compact, unique, wise, and creative stories. Turkish TV series are wildly popular with audiences all over the world, drawing inspiration from Türkiye's cultural heritage while comfortably deepening and expressing a wide array of emotions. Turkey is now the third-biggest exporter of scripted series in the world, behind only America and Britain.
Turkish series cater to both modern and conservative viewers who used to follow different tastes. They are widely vibrant, unlike in India, which delves deep into a unicolor cultural, mystic way. At the same time, Turkish series will give meaning. It shows all actors are well-versed in all wise aspects of the meaning of life, which we never see in other countries' series.
Before their "explosion" with the likes of "Money Heist", "Cable Girls," and "Elite," I'd watch random Spanish shows on cable on Antena 3 when I was young. My favorite show? Their version of "Wheel of Fortune." It's kinda comical seeing the participants competing for prizes that are way smaller than the American prizes (even adjusting for the currency exchange).
In the past years, they've come up with good drama shows. While I haven't been able to see many of them, the few I have been able to see are good. I had also been able to watch plenty of CCTV. The main issue with CCTV is just that it seems to be way too simplistic in terms of news, but at least they go straight to the point, which is good at times.
Chinese dramas are the best of them all, especially ancient ones. They all have different contents. In my opinion, China should be at the top of the list.
Bangladeshi Drama is the most realistic one. All artists play the role with real and natural behavior. It's hard to find overacting or an unreal role there. Most of the time, they make scripts with true stories of society. Bangladesh is the most realistic short film producer in the world.
Bangladeshi Dramas have come a long way, and their telefilms are one of the best. The acting is also pretty good.
Bangladeshi dramas are just awesome. They are not that popular because there are no subtitles.
Bro, even my mom watches them with me until like 3 AM. What else do I need to say?
The dramas of Thailand are also the best.
I've watched Girl from Nowhere and Bad Genius: The Series, along with a few Thai movies. I'll say that they were great. That's it.
I love Philippine TV shows because of their unique and non-repetitive plots, talented actors, and quality production. While the quality of Filipino TV programs is sometimes debated, I never stopped watching them and find them engaging and well-developed.
One thing I've learned from watching them is that these shows are popular because they reflect our attitudes, values, and experiences as a people. They have great TV shows like Ang Probinsyano (Brothers) and Prima Donnas.
The best comedies and movies. They are very popular in Arab countries, especially in North Africa. As a child, I always watched them in Libya. I tried to copy their dialect, which turned out hilarious.
They have some popular dubbed TV series on Libyan TV and Arabic TV. I watch them because I have both TVs.
I used to watch some great Mexican dramas on TV when I was a teenager. Unfortunately, they are no longer popular here because of the rise of Turkish dramas.

Brazilian telenovelas have been the queens of TV since I have memory. In fact, they perfected the "sci-fi/rom-com" genre with 2018's "Crashing Into The Future," since it has been the best show I've ever seen recently.
Second, Brazilian telenovelas have never been shy about touching on controversial subjects. They don't shy away from displaying interracial and interfaith unions, political corruption, immigration struggles and assimilation, the horrors of slavery, environmental issues and deforestation, along with the usual melodrama, and lots of comedy on top.
Germany has the best TV in Continental Europe, followed by Italy, Sweden, and Portugal.
Best creative show and camera shots/directing.
