I'm going to be very honest here. I've been to France. I've been to Italy. I've been lucky enough to travel all over. But there's just something about Greece that makes me love it more than the others. The landscape is absolutely breathtaking, with stunning mountains and beautiful beaches. The history is also incredible. You can literally go on a walk and stumble upon some sort of ancient ruin.
It's steeped in history and culture. Also, for some reason, the food in Greece was my favorite out of everywhere in Europe. So fresh and super affordable. I once bought a full meal at a restaurant in Nafplio for 2 euros, which is about 4 CAD.
If you were to go anywhere in Europe, I recommend Greece. I would love to spend the rest of my life there.
