Beautiful scenery. The French countryside, The city of Paris, The south of France which is warmer like Spain. French people are so very attractive and stylish. Outside of Paris, they are nicer then people give them credit for.

So fascinating and diversified country, do not hesitate to go outside Paris and French Riviera, in the country side.
The food are so various and delicious, each region has is own architecture(s), dishes, traditions, cultures, accents..

And also there are the famous French Polynesia and so many other Islands that make France one of the most fabulous country to visit and for this diversity and biodiversity; Imagine that part of Amazon is a French department, we have been there it's more than wonderful.

But most of people do not know this hidden and not enough known parts of France, maybe better like that to preserve such treasures...

Undoubtedly France, because it's the most diverse country (with islands and french guyana). The only things that lack are desert (cold and hot) and an equivalent of the Grand Canyon. And everything is concentrated on a small superficy compare to other countries. The only country in the world where you can find almost everything you like. Not to mention, architecture, history, food, culture (as diverse as the territory), and the life style.

I have been to France twice and I am going a third time next year. It is my favorite country I have been to so far. I feel like the South of France does not get as much attention as Paris. There is so much to do in France outside of Paris. I also love French culture and history as well. All in all, everyone needs to go to France at least once their lifetime.

2 Japan Japan is an island country in East Asia in the Pacific Ocean. It lies off the eastern coast of the Asia Mainland (east of China, Korea, Russia) and stretching from the Sea of Okhotsk in the north to the East China Sea and near Taiwan in the southwest.

Japan has a huge capital city called Tokyo, other cities in Japan include Fukuoka, Hiroshima, Osaka, Nagoya and Sendai. It's close to South Korea, which is on the North West of it. It has a large population of 126.86 million people (Statistics Bureau of Japan. Retrieved April 27, 2016). ...read more.

Japan is cool. It mixes their old culture with the modern, tech culture. Japan has beautiful ocean, cool cities, gardens, and architecture. Japanese people are cute and polite, also very intelligent and respectful.

I'm half Japanese and half English and I live in London. I visit Japan often, and once I'm there, I find it hard to leave. However, it's sad that the country is ruining its beautiful countryside, and ancient buildings, with massive crops and crappy concrete buildings. Some people have realised this, and have tried to stop this, but maybe it's because of the population decrease, I don't know. If you want to get away from these problems, visit Kyoto. It's a small city that has laws that stops the replacing of historical buildings, construction of buildings that are more than 8 floors and the erasing of country side around it. It's so beautiful there. Even an American General in WW2 asked this higher command not to bomb, attack, or drop the atomic bomb on this city. YOU MUST GO!

Japan is a wonderful place to be if you love nature, I'm just a little saddened that not only Japan, but different country's get discriminated on.
Yes, every country has its ups and downs, but it shouldn't be put on them forever for things that happened decades ago.
And there may be people that are bad in a country (Example: Afghanistan)
But there ARE PEOPLE that are GOOD to others and wish that terrorism and violence will come to an end, no matter the religion.
If only people will see that, then it could be a better place for the Earth for all of us people.

The Japanese people are the incarnation of all good spirits. Kyoto is the most beautiful city in the world and Tokyo is the greatest metropolis on earth. Visiting this country even after a lifetime of travel is to be born again, to have the way you perceive the world changed forever.

3 New Zealand New Zealand is an island country in the southwestern Pacific Ocean. It is situated 1,500 kilometres (900 mi) east of Australia across the Tasman Sea and roughly 1,000 kilometres (600 mi) south of the Pacific island areas of New Caledonia, Fiji, and Tonga. New Zealand's capital city is Wellington, while its most populous city is Auckland.

New Zealand is a beautiful peaceful country. Beautiful countryside with sheep and mountains. Kiwis are very chill and full of life. They have a cool accent and great sense of humor

In New Zealand the whole world is on show. It boasts tropical islands, rolling green fields, magnificent mountains, fiords, snow and breath-taking ski fields, beautiful beaches, limestone caves, glow worms, rain forests, caverns, extraordinary rock features, volcanos, hot pools, some of the worlds most spectacular waterfalls and even a desert. No other place has such concentrated diversity.

Wow, I was actually expecting New Zealand to be number one! These other countries are beautiful too, but New Zealand is so special. Its natural landscapes, glaciers, mountains, lakes, rivers, you name it. New Zealand has about the same land mass as the UK but the UK has a population of 64 million whereas New Zealand has a population of 4 million. It isn't crowded and has the most beautiful beaches I've ever been to! Plus, Lord of the Rings was filmed here and Lorde is a kiwi! That's another thing, kiwis are crazy cool birds.

The last landmass to be colonised by humans, so also the least marred by them (I can only dream of how it was before settlers came). Also the diversity is incredible - from jagged mountains, fjords and glaciers, to world class beaches and coastlines, and everything in between.

Italy is a beautiful country with beautiful people. North Italy and South Italy are very different. the North is cold with mountains and the South has beautiful beaches, farmland, and valleys where they grow wine

From Mountains, to plains, to beaches, to beautiful renaissance cities, to beautiful women and delicious food, Italy has it. Every corner is worth discovering!

I've been working as a flight attendant for twenty years and had the chance to visit many beautiful Countries, but every time I set foot in there, I discover new things to see. I'm not talking about the "same old" Rome, Florence and Venice. Italy is composed of many different countries which were once independent and are now reunited under the same flag. So it's like visiting various nations in just one country. Of course Italy has its flaw, but it is definitely the most beautiful Country in the world.

I read the negative comments that have the most votes. Ok, I'm not objective because I'm Italian and I love my country. But I point out just two things:

1. although it is a peninsula, Italy also has the main mountain range in Europe and the largest islands in the Mediterranean. And a second mountain range with different characteristics which runs the entire nation form north to south. No other nation in Europe can have the same variety of landscape (don't forget che wheather).

2. I met people who live abroad and who do not know the concept of the historic center: No need to add more

Canada is beautiful and peaceful. Like the U.S, they have mountains, farmland, forests, and leafs that change in the fall. I especially love the Rockies, British Columbia, and Newfoundland. Canadians are kind and polite.

Canada has amazing natural beauty. From the Atlantic to the Pacific. The Rockies to the Great Lakes, the arctic to the badlands, and from Victoria because to St John's nl, Canada is beautiful. Visit the cities where stunning architecture can be viewed. Toronto's CN Tower, Ottawa's parliament, Vancouver's harbour, Montreal's old port, Quebec City's Chateaux Frontenac and Edmonton's mega river valley within its city limits are all amazing trates of Canada's beautiful cities.

The quality of life, the friendliness of people and their overall knowledge which makes them the smartest people in the world is why Canada is the best country to live in. Canadians are very humble as opposed to their very closed minded neighbors of the south.

Canada is a massive country, with every part having something different to offer. Some notable examples would be Quebec's French like culture or the Inuit culture in Nunavut. You can also visit cities like Toronto and Vancouver and experience the stunning urban landscape.

6 United States The United States of America, or the U.S.A. for short, is a federal republic composed of 50 states, 48 of them are contiguous states. US is beautiful. We have freedom, liberty, democracy, beaches, oceans, mountains, volcanos, tundras, and of course trees, but we do have one of the tallest trees in the world. History, grasslands, deserts, tropical places, forests, rocks, great technology, amusement parks, national parks, beautiful styles of buildings, sightseeing places and fun, natures, snows, weathers, hiking, rivers, lakes, entertainments, a lot of people, rich country, powerful, big, successful, and even more you can think of. U.S. has everything you could do to enjoy, it's a popular country, that's why US is the most beautiful and the greatest and the best country in the world.

I am from New Zealand which many Americans say is more beautiful than America but I have to disagree! America is more beautiful than New Zealand, sure it's a lot bigger so you have to drive a long way to see the scenery, but when you do it is amazing! Argentina also has beautiful scenery.

Scenically, the US is the most beautiful & spectacular country in the world & that's a subjective opinion because I'm not American ... but I've travelled through vast areas of the US & highly recommend this country to anyone & everyone who enjoys seeing magnificent scenery.

I have a bit of a bias as being from the USA, but we (referring to Americans) do truly have a spectacular country. From the vistas of the Grand Canyon, to the Valleys of Yosemite, to the skyline of New York, everyone should visit the U.S. at least once in their lifetime (and Americans should travel outside the USA more to experience the rest of the world).

Greece is beautiful just like the people. The beaches, history, cities, scenery. Athens is kind of dirty, but still cool. The food is amazing, it's always sunny, and Greece will make you wanna live there

I'm going to be very honest here. I've been to France. I've been to Italy. I've been lucky to travel all over. But there's just something about Greece that makes me love it more than the others. The landscape is absolutely breathtaking. There are stunning mountains and beautiful beaches. The history is also incredibly. You can literally go on a walk and run into some sort of ancient ruin. It's seeped in history and culture. Also, for some reason, the food in Greece was my favourite out of everywhere in Europe. So fresh and super affordable. I ended up buying a full meal at a restaurant in Nafplio for 2 euros. That is about 4 CAD. If you were to go anywhere in Europe, I recommend Greece. I would love to spend the rest of my life there.

By far the most beautiful country in the world in my opinion. The culture, the people, the museums, the landscape, the coastline, the cities, the villages, the climate, the beaches, the nightlife. It combines everything. Favorite destination for millions of people all over the world. Most Unesco sites, and 98% blue flagged beaches. I was speechless. It's a paradise. You can even visit it in the winter, beautiful mountains and facilities during that season. Incredible. It lacks deserts and jungles though, if that's what you are looking for.

Greece is heaven. It has everything one can imagine and want. From 80% mountains, to 16,000 km of the most crystal clear coastline, to unparalleled history, to heavenly cuisine which I most definitely rate above other countries like Italy where I have been also many times. Nowhere did I eat as heavenly as in Greece, and for great money value. Italy or France are much more expensive and often nowhere near as tasty. Greece has 6,000 islands, each unique and own character. 20% of all the Ultra peaks mountains in all of Europe lies in Greece. Ultra peaks mountains are mountains that rise more than 1,500 meters above it's lowest surrounding region. Greece has a great culture, great traditions. And when one goes to Greece, one will simply get amazed by it's incredible breathtaking beauty. It's the combination of breathtaking beauty, vast mountains, bluest seas, incredible traditional villages/towns/sights everywhere across the country, heavenly food, islands for a lifetime, unparalleled ...more

Switzerland is beautiful and rich. The alps are amazing, The cities are clean and well kept. Beautiful forests covered in snow. It's kind of rich and snobby, but it's a great place to be

Switzerland has everything to offer from the Mediterranean area in Ticino to the medieval bridges of Luzern and the Rhine Valley with the Alps dominating the landscape and many different and beautiful cities, lakes, valleys, rivers and mountains. Switzerland is like a union of smaller "countries" aka cantons, each being unique and different, making the country very diverse and interesting.

So beautiful! If you enjoy hikes and nature, it's the place for you! The mountain towns, such as Zermatt, are beautiful, there is no place better than Switzerland!

I love this country.. It's the most beautiful country in the world..

10 Norway Norway, officially the Kingdom of Norway, is a sovereign and unitary monarchy in Northern Europe whose territory comprises the western portion of the Scandinavian Peninsula plus the island Jan Mayen and the archipelago of Svalbard. Oslo is the capital of Norway. Norwegian is the official language of Norway.

Beautiful, peaceful country with beautiful people. Tons of mountains, ocean, forests, and snow. The people are kinda shy, but they will warm up, especially with some alcohol

Best food in the world, long daylight during summertime and always an activity for everyone. All basic services are free, making it the safest place in the world to visit. Did I mentioned that you are allowed to walk wherever you want, also on private grounds, and camp wherever you want as long as the distance from a house/cabin is 150 m.

If you like beautiful, fairy tale looking landscapes and nice people with a welcoming smile, go to Norway. Norway offers everything from flowery and green hills to big, beautiful mountains. Norway has the 2nd longest coast line in the world, and has the most amazing fjords.

Norway is so beautiful with so much nature. I love it so much. It's my favorite country. I also think they ar really beautiful. I wish I were norwegian

11 Iceland Iceland is a Nordic island country in the North Atlantic Ocean and the most sparsely populated country in Europe. Iceland's capital and largest city is Reykjavík, which (along with its surrounding areas) is home to over 65% of the population. Iceland is the only part of the Mid-Atlantic Ridge that rises above sea level, and its central volcanic plateau is erupting almost constantly. The interior consists of a plateau characterised by sand and lava fields, mountains, and glaciers, and many glacial rivers flow to the sea through the lowlands. Iceland is warmed by the Gulf Stream and has a temperate climate, despite a high latitude just outside the Arctic Circle. Its high latitude and marine influence keep summers chilly, and most of its islands have a polar climate.

No wonder Iceland was so expensive!
There was so much to see... The most beautiful landscapes... Gletsjers... Food and people! Waterfalls are amazing... Hidden beach... The blue lagoon... Reykjavik of course and many many other things!

Also this one is in the top 10 of most beautiful countries in the world... People just don't know about Iceland... This is just a website where you can vote for yourself... My experiences says enough!
MY FAVOURITE Country

The country is beautifully located and has rich beaches and people. I loved people - all of whom were forever nice and kind. The landscape, the ice and the ringroad were all beautiful and captivating. Don't forget their airline too, which is cheap and welcoming.

Best of the best! Love it!

12 Spain Spain, or the Kingdom of Spain, is a country in southwestern Europe with parts of territory in the Atlantic Ocean and across the Mediterranean Sea. The largest part of Spain is situated on the Iberian Peninsula; its territory also includes the Canary Islands in the Atlantic Ocean, the Balearic Islands in the Mediterranean Sea, the autonomous cities of Ceuta and Melilla, and several minor overseas territories also scattered along the Moroccan coast of the Alboran Sea. The country's mainland is bordered to the south by Gibraltar; to the south and east by the Mediterranean Sea; to the north by France, Andorra and the Bay of Biscay; and to the west by Portugal and the Atlantic Ocean.

Nice nation, but filled with the most loud, racist, uneducated, lousy people you could come across. I find Spanish people judgemental and hypocritical. An incredibly racist society.

I'm peruvian and I love spain, spanish people are very nice and friendly, and their culture and architecture is great.

Spain is one of the most diverse countries all over the world.

Spain is the most beautiful places I have ever been!

13 Germany Germany was formally united in 1871 under the initiative of Bismarck with King Wilhelm of Prussia as emperor. The previous 'Holy Roman Empire', basically a continuation of the empire of Charlemagne/Karl der Grosse was dissolved in 1806.

With its beautiful countryside and medieval architecture, Germany looks like it could have come out of a fairytale. Would love to visit someday.

I was amazed when I visited this country. The stunning landscapes, the people, their culture and the cuisine. People living there must feel so privileged, but they don't because they dream of sunny islands which can get so boring after a while.

Should definitely be higher up in the list, at least 6 or higher, first of all, Germany's history is just, full of history! And the landscape as well as their food, they are also known as one of the cleanest countries in the world.Whoever voted for Greece is...okay, because I agree their food is nice, but the weather is weird and the cities aren't really that nice, tbh.

Germany is spectacular! The food. Landscapes. Culture. People. Every thing is perfect so is the weather! Not like England. Germany is a country anyone would want to live in!

Country with diversity and beauty. Ranging from low lands to highest peaks. The country itself s a world in itself, surrounded by the beautiful himalayas and biodiversity. Lakes, rivers, glaciers, that refreshing breeze and awesome warm welcoming faces all that makes Nepal a beautiful country. It's a country that is not only blessed by the natural beauty but also the kind hearted people who love to live in Harmony...
Less cheaters and great supporters. You forget your tension with smile of people welcoming you in their place and you feel alive looking at gorgeous scenarios around.
Nepal definitely one of the most beautiful countries in the world.

Nepal is undeniably the most beautiful country in the world. 8 of worlds top 10 highest mountains, worlds most adventurous trekking routes, world best rivers for rafting, tough mountains for rock climbing... And the list goes on! Ohh yes, nearly forget to mention, in Nepal beauty is ubiquitous, but not obvious, as its often concealed in details... Just a smile of any Nepalese can melt you.

Nepal is quite small, and an unknown country. The marvels that this country has are not found anywhere, and due to a really great altitude range, and mix of aryan and Mongolian tribes along with Hinduism and buddhism, Nepal is the most beautiful country in the world! Beauty stands as high as the himalayas here in Nepal... Land of beauty, grace, hospitality, discipline, wildness... Land of FUN

Nepal is a nice place to be. The beauty through nature and culture reflects the country. Dynamic people in the sense that they are open and tolerable. And hungry for changes in the positive manners. Coming to Nepal after the Caos in India is rather settling. One will definitely have time for think and re-think one self.

I am from China and I think China is definitely one of the most beautiful nations in the world. China is one of the oldest countries in the world, so many interesting places to go and I think China is really attractive for foreigners as well.

China is the wealthiest country in the world. That's why western empires along with Japan's empire stole a lot of beneficial properties from China that can strengthen their respected societies.

A huge country with just any type of natural landscape you want, aside from the natural beauty, its rich culture and history - few countries on earth has this marvelous combination.

16 French Polynesia

French Polynesia with about 120 among the most beautiful Islands (Pacific Ocean).

After visiting French Polynesia, and having seen its mixture of spectacular mountain peaks, wild and lush vegetation, and the clearest waters ever, any tripper will be able to understand why Tahiti is often called the "Isle of Love" or "Paradise on Earth".

Splendid area, so many islands, volcanic and and coral, surely the most beautiful atolls we have ever seen. Polynesian are so kind, tranquil and they speak a so typical French, so charming.

This part of France is a real Paradise on earth, lots of splendid coral atolls and volcanic islands with among the most beautiful beaches of the whole world.

Bora Bora alone is the paradise with the largest atoll in the world and surely the most famous.

After the first World War, Austria became a small country, under 10 million population, but including the world's then 4th largest city. 'A big head on a small body' they said. In 1938 Hitler invaded his home country and imposed Naziism. Vienna was then the World's largest Jewish centre, many famous people, eg. Sigmund Freud, had to leave. England can trace its history as far back as the 10th century, but modern England didn't start till the Norman Invasion of 1066. England is one of the most underrated countries in Europe in my opinion simply because everyone goes to London and think they've seen England. In reality, London was bombed in WW2 and lost 60% of its beauty. England has so many beautiful landscapes. There's nothing more that represents civilization than the English countryside with its quant villages, churches, cottages, manor houses, etc. All built from local craftsmanship and tradition for centuries.

England is the green and peasant land. Stunning landscapes, villages, architecture, historic sites, coastlines, beaches, castles, countryside houses, landscape gardens, etc. The world's history runs directly through England and England itself has been one of the most influential nations in history and has been through the most tremendous historic ages that produced some of the greatest architecture styles.

I'm French, I know this 'French Bashing' from English. But I hope it's just for joke, because actually I like, like most of French the English humor and I like the English countryside, famous English landscapes gardens, like the castles, the cities, and yes also the nice beaches. You have a nice country.

England is the best and most beautiful country in the world. A man who is tired of London is tired of life. England has much more to offer than any of those other countries could ever hope for. I know this, and I don't even live in England. Just acknowledge it and move on.

England, Scotland, and Wales are absolutely beautiful countries filled with beautiful landscapes.

Places like York, Edinburgh, Bath, Conwy, Chester, Lichfield, Cambridge, Oxford, Canterbury, Exeter, Durham, Ely, Lincoln, Salisbury, Truro, Winchester, etc, etc look like something out of an English fairytale or novel.

The rolling countryside of England, the landscapes and castles of Scotland, the green landscapes of Wales are much celebrated. The thatched cottages of England and the castles of all the British Isles have inspired so much creativity, poetry, painters, etc.

The countryside manor houses and the beautiful Cotswolds of England are not only beautiful, but filled with so much treasures and history going back thousands and thousands of years.

Even the more industrial cities like Manchester, Glasgow, Liverpool, etc have beauty and interesting history.

Yes, yes, yes! Beautiful landscapes, beautiful countryside (its countryside and landscapes have inspired the greatest forms of literature and poetry this world has ever seen), beautiful universities (two of the world's oldest), beautiful villages, beautiful parliamentary building, stunning manor houses, beautiful gardens, beautiful anixent gothic cathedrals, beautiful historic cities, beautiful castles.

The English towns, the Welsh countrysides, the Scottish highlands and the Northern Irish beaches are truly unbeatable! Go wherever you want in Britain, a lot is there to see.

Beautiful varied scenery captured in small area. The green fields, national parks and beaches cannot be rivalled anywhere in world.

What! Scotland is amazing! It is a land which hosts the UK's last remaining real natural zones! From the outer Hebrides to the Scottish highlands to Loch Ness to Mnt Ben Nevis, Scotland is magnificent. It is such a shame that it has always been hiding behind England's and Ireland's backs. Scotland for ever.

Wait what?! No 21?! Beautiful countryside, coastline, mountains. Stunning place. Should be top 5

Hauntingly Beautiful. Marking it below its neighbors to the south and the UK as a whole beggars belief

Most beautiful and friendly country in the world, the culture and customs are second to none

The thing is Philippines is somewhat poor but have so many beautiful places. Unlike Japan who have traditional buildings and who knows what kind of faith, Philippines excels in the beauty in normal scenery such as plain beaches, mountains and other awesome landscapes. Filipinos strive to become successful and the result? Epic malls, outstanding singers and youth congregations who exemplify the true meaning of values. The most beautiful people too, which obviously shows in dramatic telenovelas compared to the normal American soap opera and complicated Korean shows. Philippines is not only beautiful it's the BEST.

I think that the Philippines is probably the most beautiful country EVER! It is also the best (Not to brag! I'm sharing my opinion! Sorry if I am bragging! )! The food there is delicious! And the beaches are super lush and peaceful! Visit there, and you will never come back home! You will never regret visiting the Philippines! Trust me on this one!
