Top 10 Countries with the Rudest People

Totally absurd. I've travelled and lived in a number of countries. When you're strictly talking about people and character here (not politics or power) American's, in general, are some of the most helpful, friendly, kind, creative, open, tolerant, honest, and fun people on earth. Every possible race, color, nation, religion, orientation, and creed can be found in even smaller cities, in the middle of nowhere, in the US. It's the melting pot of the world and it's diversity is unmatched anywhere Are there rude Americans? Of course. It's not perfect. But there is no way it's objectively one of the 'rudest' countries on earth.

I lived there for years. I've traveled most of the world and lived in four countries (including the hilariously #1 on this list - a straight hater vote). Without question Polish people are some of the most base, tactless, ignorant, arrogant, deluded, shallow, racist, anti-semitic, lying, thieving, backstabbing, complex-riddled, and you got it, RUDE people on planet earth. Making it worse, they actually think they're wonderful, as many of them are also the least Christian, 'Christians' you'll ever meet. This is only funny the first ten times they tell you how lovely they all are (and start criticizing your country as many are also 'global/cultural' experts). They are on these kinds of lists for a reason. Yes, there are some exceptions, but every cool and thoughtful Pole I knew there hated it and was either planning an escape or was trapped there because of family.

If you want to be stolen and not by foreign immigrants, no by aboriginal, go there.
They drive like crazy, they never say hello, the cities are old and dirty, It smells sewers everywhere. Impossible to find a restaurant which is not French.
Hotels are really low quality and extremely expensive.
Be careful with policemen, they do not like foreigners, they arrest you and make mess.
Nobody in this country speaks something else than Italian.
It's a very old and boring country.
And for the beaches they are all private or full of rubbishes.

And for visiting only ruins, when it's possible to visit because of continuous strikes.
Escape to other countries around, it's close and really more funny.

Like many other countries, the UK definitely has some problems, but I have always found them to be very friendly and personable. However, they do need to address their tendency to be ridiculously strict with their 'rules' and relax their pants on some issues. Recently, at a run-of-the-mill highstreet cafe in York, England, a waitress came to my table and admonished me for sharing half of my sandwich with my husband. Apparently if my husband wanted a sandwich, he should have ordered one for himself, sharing is not allowed (what). She ignored the fact that he had already eaten his full meal. Seriously though...correcting adult customers? Let it go, you're not SuperNannyNation. Apart from that, they're usually warm and friendly.

I grew up in Germany as a kid, and I hated it. I went to a candy shop once, and I was missing 3 cents and the German man who worked there didn't let me have my candy. I WAS EIGHT YEARS OLD. I didn't speak German, I only spoke English so everyone knew I was American. This obese German kid told me I was a "fat American" and punched me in the face. He obviously weighed about 70 more pounds than me though. At a playground, I was in line for the slide and an older German kid pushed me out of the way when it was my turn. He flipped me off on his way down. I hated going outside to play because of these adults and children. My mom asked me why I stayed home all the time and I used to cry and tell her about how much I missed America and wanted to go home.

I've spent since 1996 trying to understand Chinese. Lived around then dealt with tgem in Buisness. I've found them two faced back stabbing and sneaky. They would walk over the top of your child if they fell. They renig on deals and have little concern for life. Its sad as I've tried to make excuses for years for them but lately a Chinese association and its employees not only triwd to screw me over but failed. Very untidy outlook to sincerity. Would stab you in back at tge blink if an eye. Its sad. But over the last 20 years I've fpund the Chinese to bw nothing more than cruel opportunists with no regret or honourable intentions.

Honestly, North Korea has got to be the worst country ever, I mean, I feel bad for all the innocent people who were born there, and they have no internet, and only 4-3 TV channels, how are they surviving without something fun like SpongeBob SquarePants or Bluey? But Kim Jong Un is just a fat racist tyrant, he hates everyone except for Russian and Chinese people, the North Korean people have to suffer in this torturous nation, yet Kim gets to eat food from the USA or Japan and he went to school in Switzerland, frick you Kim Jong Un.

I'm Italian and don't listen to these idiots, Italians are not arrogant, they just have pride and confidence in themselves. When it comes to rudeness, it depends at the location. The south is full of short tempered and egotistic people, but the north is the complete opposite. Italians are not nasty and not demoralizing and they do not think they are best at everything, what the hell are these lunatics talking about. They're certainly not deranged, some people just need to explore and educate themselves more because most of these comments are completely false.

Whoever voted for this, I'm done. Do you guys know why russians don't smile on the streets? (this makes them appear so much more ruder and angrier than they are) its because in Russia, it's considered impolite to smile at strangers in public. I'm russian, so I know firsthand - there is even a saying: "smiling without a reason is a sign of foolishness". Like come on! It's part of russian culture, leave us alone. In reality, they are really fun people to hang around, and they aren't all drunk vodka alcoholics (though we do like our vodka very much). Russians are kind, honorable people, and anyone voting for this just because of their culture and not because of protesting really deserves a place behind the bars.

Argentinians are not rude they're very nice and intelligent someone remove it from the list.

They are kinder people than the people in Spain.

I am Bulgarian, have traveled to many countries in Europe, have lived in 2 other West European countries. And let me tell you, nowhere have I been treated as rudely as in my precious home Bulgaria. Not even by xenophobic people in other countries who knew I was non-native. Whatever anyone has told me abroad is nothing compared to what some Bulgarians have said or done. God forbid you have to go to the hospital, dentist, police, tax, post office, or somewhere to get something done in Bulgaria.

Bulgarians might suck up to foreigners. Bulgarians might suck up to higher-ups or other Bulgarians with money who give them gifts or bribes. Bulgarians might even suck up to pretty hot guys or girls.

But things get fun if you are none of those things and can't 'gift' your way through something. Whenever another Bulgarian or person tries to disapprove claims Bulgarians are rude, he is most likely one of the above - foreign, rich, influential/person of someone, or extremely good looking. Not saying there aren't good Bulgarians, especially in the younger generations, but a lot of them aren't, and this is why so many Bulgarians want to immigrate, so they can be treated with normal human decency and respect.

Don't come to this hell, please. You will regret it.

Probably the most bipolar nation there is, always felt like I was treading on egg shells when in a restaurant in case any waiter or waitress snapped at me. Happened more than once, one time was because I asked to add a bottle of water to a meal, another time was that my friend ordered salmon, and instead of asking for two I asked for salmon also. Also never try to split a bill if you're out, it may be the last thing you do. Never witnessed so much dramatic people in my life.

I'm Russian. And Russians are indeed rude. But when, in my presence, somebody talks about how rude the Russians are, I always say: That's because you have not been to Hungary. True champions. Everybody else is vying for second place and lower.

I'm surprised its number 24. In my opinion it should be number 4 or 8. Extremly racist people. Your never welcomed here. I came to Australia since 2006 and I've been called Muslim and people always told me to go back to my country. The number of times I've seen people getting bullied and me getting bullied is mind blowing. Very sad to see a good country be filled with such rude people.

I live here, but people can be rude if you're rude to them. Australia is a very welcome country and I have never met a racist person! But to be honest, this is pretty much the only country that you can call your friend a "cun*" without being rude, but personally, I think that's rude, but other than that, I love this country!

I have positive memories from a journey to Serbia. People were kind, nice and hospitable. I can tell you just good words to Serbia and serbian people. I wish good luck in serbian and international football for Fc Crvena Zvezda.

I have visited Egypt before including Cairo and other villages, they are extremely intolerant to Americans and also as a black man they are very racist. in a village called AL Minya, as a black man, they threw stones at me calling me a black person in Arabic. In Cairo, they stare at you like why you American is in my country.They are extreme nationalists.

Egyptian people are the rudest person I ever met in my entire life. They always think of themselves as high and mighty. They only deceiving people how good they are by praying every time but inside them is rotten heart and spirit.

I am Czech and most Czechs are selfish, ignorant and rude. It a remnant of socialistic culture, where everyone cared only about himself or closest family. Sure, there are many people who are nice and helpful, but every 4 years the selfishness crystalizes in parliamentary elections. Also Czechs like to cheat and have very low morale profile.

Well the Czech people are kind hearted and helpful. Prague is a wonderful capital city and there are lot of tourists from evrywhere around the world. My experience about the Czech republic is very positive, and I have some friends from the Czech repuplic also. I only can recommend this country to everybody!

Majority of Nigerian women are very rude with nasty attitude. They are jealous of naturally beautiful and humble mixed, Asian, Middle Eastern and Eastern European women because Nigerian men who are decent choose them over fake hair goldigging Nigerian women.

I have only spoken to a few Nigerian and Kenyan women and men, and I am alarmed by the angry tone, nearly sarcastic, and almost dismissive nature of those brief conversations and encounters. When a simple "good morning" or "have a nice day" can cause a negative reaction or questionable argument, then of course it becomes offensive because the negative reaction is abnormal behavior, especially in the southern states of America. It's so ridiculous and unnecessary. Sadly, a growing number of southern Americans are developing an understanding of intolerance towards Nigerians and Kenyans because of these interactions.

They kicked many people out of shrines for doing nothing.

I know a man from Kosovo that lives in North America. He told me he doesn't trust women, or believe them. And he cheats on all of his girlfriends. He has a few of them at a time. And he hates Serbs.

Why isn't this in the top ten. I live in kosovo, and everyone there is so mean, like once I walked around the supermarket and the casheir was so rude to my mom,however the kids at school are nice, I think its just the adults that are mean

I just got back from my trip to the Balkans and most of the people in these countries where super kind but when I went to Kosovo they where worse then the French they think that if you have the money to go there your just there to shove it in there face that you have money!

I have lived here for 12 years. Beautiful place - awful, awful people...the rudest ever with terrible manners, bad grammar, and terrible spelling. The South Island people are much nicer, but to be completely honest, the people are terrible. Workplace bullying is rife, along with something called "Tall Poppy Syndrome" - (look that one up)...in other words, if they are envious of you, they chop your head off. An incredibly Passive Aggressive society. Horrible people.

Kiwis are very rude. They grow horns out of their forehead when you ask them about the weather. They cannot resist rugby with potatos and pepper sauce. And they call everyone idiots. People called Rose and Sophie are particularly rude, and will never stop critizing other people.

Born there, lived there and yet felt the discrimination. Iranians are actors, bad ones, carrying a permanent mask on their faces. acting nice and welcoming to strangers, especially foreigners to convince you they are the warmest and friendliest people. But in reality, they are only planning to take something from you, most of them are extremely Irresponsible hypocrites that believe they are the best and nicest people on earth while envying every other nation deeply. and they are always right, saying 'sorry' doesn't exist in Iranian culture, let alone a sincere apology and acknowledgment of a mistake or toxic behavior. Women are on par with men in being rude, everyone is sexist and racist. constantly saying bad things about Arabs while most of them actually genetically have Arabian, Turkic, and Mongolian blood. The groups they mock and curse all the time. so to speak, they hate their own inner existence. no wonder how hateful and empty an average Iranian is.
