Top 10 PlayStation One Games that You Would Most Like to Rate

For this list we look at the PlayStation One games that you would most like to rate on a scale of 1 to 10.
The Top Ten
1 PaRappa the Rapper

7 out of 10 good game and despite being a fun game the games difficulty is really unforgiving especially when you make it to the Cheep Cheep stage where they game really punishes you for not getting the rhythm down and is so hard that most people give up at this point.

2 Spyro: Year of the Dragon

In my opinion the best of the original Spyro trilogy on the PS1 9.5 out of 10.

3 Crash Bandicoot 2: Cortex Strikes Back

Really were the series really took off while the story is pretty lacking but the gameplay really makes up for that with tons of fun levels and secrets to unlock such as finding the colored gems and unlike the first Crash game Crash 2 is a bit more forgiving when it comes to difficulty as now you no longer have to start the level all over just to break every box as hitting a checkpoint now will keep track of all the boxes you've broken up to that point even if you die though the game doesn't tell you how many boxes are in every level though it was fixed in the N Sane Trilogy. Despite being a good game the final boss Neo Coretx is a huge letdown none the less I give it a 8 out of 10.

4 MediEvil
5 Metal Gear Solid

A perfect 10 this game is a masterpiece.

6 Final Fantasy 8
7 No One Can Stop Mr. Domino
8 Tomb Raider II
9 Resident Evil 2 (1998)

Great sequel to the original Resident Evil that allows you to play as one character Leon or Claire then play as the other character once you complete it the first time and you can even do it reverse like starting off as Leon then play as Claire or start as Claire and end with Leon to get two completely different experiences as always the voice acting though better then the first is still pretty terrible and the graphics haven't aged well but non the less I give it a 9 out of 10.

10 Um Jammer Lammy

If we're talking about how adorable Lammy herself is, 11/10

As for the game itself, however, 7.5/10

The Contenders
11 Croc: Legend of the Gobbos
12 Crash Team Racing
13 Crash Bash

A neat change of pace a Crash game with a Mario Party style game play minus the boards, some of the mini-games are fun but are incredibly repetitive as Mini-Games are broken into several categories there's the Pogo stick mini-games, the free for all mini-games, tank mini-games, ballstick mini-games, polar push, Crash Dash and Medieval Mini-Games in my opinion 7/10.

14 Dino Crisis 2
15 X-Men vs. Street Fighter

Plays a bit slower then the arcade and the removal of the tag system really hurts the game as the 2 on 2 player tag team was the selling point of the game.

16 Final Fantasy VII

Rather fittingly for its title, 7/10

(it severely lacks the pacing perfection of Chrono Trigger, the actually amazing main villain of Final Fantasy VI, the personality of EarthBound and Mother 3, and especially the intricate plot of Xenogears)

17 Bubsy 3D

0 out of 10 one of the worst video games on the original PlayStation One with horrible controls, horrible graphics and a main character who never shuts up makes for a horrible experience.

18 Castlevania: Symphony of the Night

8/10; it is a pretty good game for what it is and has utterly AMAZING graphics and music, but in terms of actual GAMEPLAY design, it is the "quantity" to Super Metroid's "quality" in absolutely every possible way (and also is a LOT less hack-able than Super Metroid)

19 Street Fighter Alpha 3
20 Final Fantasy IX
21 Horizon Zero Dawn
22 Resident Evil 3: Nemesis
23 Medal of Honor (1999)
24 Darkstalkers 3
25 Medievil 2
