Top 10 Strongest PlayStation All-Stars Battle Royale Characters

The title's a mouthful because the game's name is a full-course meal. PlayStation All-Stars Battle Royale is one of those crossover fever dreams where you can actually pit a god of war against a cartoon raccoon and somehow it kind of works. It's chaotic, it's unbalanced, and it's a blast when you're not getting combo-locked into oblivion.

You've probably got that one fighter you always lean on when things get serious. The one who seems just a little too good at racking up AP or setting up that Level 3 super like it's casual. Maybe it's a katana-swinging cyborg ninja. Maybe it's a certain spartan with anger issues. The point is, everyone's got opinions, and this list is where yours gets to fight for the top spot.

The Top Ten
Kratos Kratos is a fictional character and the main protagonist and anti-hero of the God of War video game series. He is a demi-god who seeks vengeance on Ares and later the Olympian gods after being deceived into killing his own family. In later entries of the series, Kratos enters the realm of Norse mythology,... read more

Kratos has to be in 1st place. His level 1 is okay, his level 2 is better, but his level 3 is so powerful.

Also, I think Sweet Tooth should be higher on the list.

He's slow, but his attacks are great. Level 1 sucks. He can attack in different directions, so it's not that bad. I think he's overused, though.

Kratos was the number one character, but then Sony did an update to the game that made him worse.

Raiden

Raiden is so cool! First of all, his Square attack is very powerful and has an unstoppable combo! His Circle attack makes him charge quite far across the screen, hurting enemies in his way! His Triangle attack is so fast and knocks the opponent down for a couple of seconds.

His Level 1 is good once you have mastered it, and the same goes for Level 2. But Level 3 guarantees that you will defeat your enemies twice. Raiden is so fast and awesome that he definitely deserves to be number 1!

Level 1 gets triple kills without even trying. He has numerous setups. Level 2, where you freeze people, is just as good as some characters' Level 3s.

Don't even get me started on his Level 3...

Most overpowered player, without a doubt.

Sly Cooper

One of my all-time favourite characters. If there is a sequel, then he NEEDS to come back. His animations are really good (and quite comedic, especially the winning and losing ones), and the rival cutscenes are A-level.

Great voice to boot as well.

He is the best character because his attacks generate a lot of AP, and his super attacks are some of the best in the game! He can't block, but he can counter and teleport behind an enemy!

I said he can't block with L1, but he can make himself invisible with L1! I've never lost against a Kratos. He's a noob character! And Raiden is the best character, you think? Haha, against a Sly pro, Raiden has no chance!

Dante

Combos are hard to escape, but he can't hit people across the screen. He's fast, and his level 3 and level 1 are great. His level 1 stretches really far.

Dante is better than the Frank West version in Frank's Big Package.

He's so powerful, especially when his hair changes white for his super move. That's awesome!

Evil Cole MacGrath
Nathan Drake Nathan "Nate" Drake is the central character in the Uncharted video game series, developed by Naughty Dog. He is portrayed as a witty and daring treasure hunter with a knack for solving ancient mysteries. The series includes several titles and has become one of the flagship franchises for the PlayStation... read more

Kick an oil barrel, shoot, use a machine gun, and some form of martial arts. What else can you ask for? Personally, I don't like his level 1, but he can stall an opponent well.

Sackboy

Even though he's considered the "weakest" and "suckiest," he has a good long-distance attack, can be fast with Triangle left-right, and he has the most awesome Level 3 ever. He can reach high places, set traps, and be... sneaky.

For those who think Sackboy can't beat Kratos, well, my dad lost to me three times in a row.

Cute but deadly! This guy can turn his opponents into bubble prizes! He also has a great ending in PS Battle Royale and is my favorite game character.

Remember, this guy can create his own planet in his free time, so that makes him a god-like character.

Sweet Tooth

Why isn't he higher on the list? Sweet Tooth is awesome in the game!

Kat

She's speedy. I'm sorry, I really like the fast characters. She can attack people from afar, in different directions, and can bring them to her quickly. Her level 1 can catch unsuspecting people, and her level 2 and 3 are okay.

She's fast and can build AP very, very fast. She can also combo many moves from any angle, and all her supers rock!

Her level 2 is almost impossible to dodge.

Nariko

She's slow but can shoot from afar. Her level 2 is considerably good. Her level 1 I can live without - basically a female Kratos. I love her level 3. It's like Kat's, except you can grab people running away and play cat and mouse.

Combos are easy to learn. It's easy to get triple kills with level 1. Level 2 is not the greatest, but if you proceed to level 3, in a small arena, opponents do not stand a chance.

The Newcomers

? PaRappa

I like how PaRappa has a lot of good moves. I rate the game 10/10 stars.

? Jak

Biggest variety of moves with any character. Jak is one of the hardest characters to master but could very well be the most versatile and hardest to beat in the hands of a pro.

The Contenders
Ratchet Ratchet is one of the main protagonists of the Ratchet & Clank series. The franchise was created and developed by Insomniac Games and originally released as a PlayStation exclusive. Ratchet is a Lombax mechanic who travels across the galaxy alongside his robotic companion Clank.

Ratchet's gameplay is quite impressive. He has some pretty powerful moves, and his supers are flawless - very effective for multi-kills. However, I think his Level 2 can be pretty difficult to pull off at times.

Still, regardless, Ratchet is a pretty good character. His taunts and costumes are cool as well.

Oh please! Ratchet definitely gives these overused noob "S tier" characters a run for their money. His attacks have some of the best range in the game. They can't even touch him!

Give the Lombax the first spot! The others will get burned with a R.Y.N.O.! Yeehaw!

Heihachi Mishima Heihachi Mishima is a fictional character in the Tekken fighting game series developed by Namco. He made his debut in the original Tekken game released in 1994. Heihachi is known for his ruthless nature, powerful fighting style, and central role in the Mishima family conflict.

His level 2 special can clear a whole screen in a matter of seconds, with enough time to do it again when characters respawn! He has my vote!

Big Daddy

I liked BioShock before I started playing this game, so I decided to start with him. He was really powerful, especially with his Level 2. However, his Level 1 is difficult to aim, and his Level 3 takes ages to charge (but is similar to his Level 2, except he dashes around, and enemies can't fight back).

He's still my main, though, and gets my vote.

This guy should be at least number five because of his drill attacks and his level 3 special move.

He should be number one just because of his ground pound!

Cole MacGrath Cole MacGrath is a fictional character who serves as the main protagonist and player character of the 2009 PlayStation 3 video game inFamous. He returns in the 2011 sequel inFamous 2. Cole possesses powerful electrical abilities and is faced with moral choices that influence the direction of the story... read more

I used to love Nathan Drake until I started using Cole. He's a great, well-rounded character.

Spike

Spike does not get enough credit. One of his advantages is his use of a little robot that can attack other opponents when they least expect it. He also has a great move where he throws an electric ball at enemies, temporarily paralyzing them. This can be useful for combos or setting up a super.

Other useful moves include his net, which, when charged, increases in attack power. His first charge releases a monkey, which can be helpful. The second charge is humorous, with a monkey coming out and laying banana peels. The last charge releases a yeti-like monster to attack.

If you know how to use it, Spike can release a boomerang that comes back, which is helpful when opponents trap you in combos. Last but not least, Spike can teleport! This puts him on even terms with Sly, who can teleport and use electricity.

Colonel Radec

He can set up great combos, especially with his level 2. His level 3 almost guarantees 2 kills and is very strong at long range. At close range, he can use his throw or a variety of attacks to push the enemy back.

Best at everything, easy to use, plus the grab is great! (down on the right stick). Especially hilarious if it's Toro. I just have a little trouble with shooting upwards, downwards, and jumping.

He is powerful from a distance and has good range. His level 2 can kill most players if timed correctly. He is okay at close combat.

Toro Inoue

He has a variety of moves with his different "cosplays" and is a slow but steady AP generator. Toro can shoot out dumplings, brush people down, and kill them with a stick.

His shooting star creates terror on its path to Earth while crushing the people below. He uses his friend to his advantage, defeating enemies with a headbutt.

He has so many different moves that, if used right, can create the perfect combos.

Isaac Clarke Isaac Clarke is the main protagonist of the Dead Space franchise as an engineer worker who was a part of the emergency response unit of the USG Killian sent to investigate the USG Ishimura after losing contact with the crew members one of which was Isacc's girlfriend Nicole Brennan, upon their arrival... read more

Isaac sort of made sense because Dead Space 2 came out on PS3 first, had exclusive content, and included a remaster of Dead Space: Extraction.

Though it was a little weird when he was revealed, if a sequel comes out, I want him to stick around.

Isaac's level 3 super leaves his opponents unable to move or escape. His mid-range and long-range fighting style, combined with the only taunt that can cause damage, makes him a solid pick.

Sir Daniel Fortesque

He has some great confirms. He actually takes skill to use, unlike Kratos, Dante, and Raiden. Screw those guys. Sir Dan for life!
I have a Red 58 belt with him, and I have a rank 1 Kratos. SCREW KRATOS!

Zeus

Slow moving, steady lightning, great level 3. Zeus is not as great as Kratos, but he has his own perks, such as a level 3 that no one can escape from and a stunning move that shocks people into immobility.

Love him! Yes, he's slow, but he's unstoppable with his lightning and charge moves.

Zeus' charged attacks are just incredible. With two easy hits, you get 71 AP!

Fat Princess

Her level 3 is awesome! You don't have to do the killing - lots of bombs come and do it for you!

Fat Princess is the best character! Second is Dante, and third is Big Daddy!

Fat Princess is one of the best characters in the game. People are obviously turned off by her because, well, she's a fat princess. GIVE HER A CHANCE!

Emmett Graves

He can change his primary weapon in the middle of a game... if he has time! That changes his gameplay a lot, but he cannot keep the two other special weapons (shotgun and sniper) for the rest of the game. He can also put up some useful turrets.

His levels are pretty cool, and Level 1 changes depending on whether he has his shotgun, sniper, or normal gun!

He's not overpowered but can perform well.
