    So it's ok to beat someone just because you bought him? I also hate the subject of BUYING someone. I mean everyone is the same, it's just a matter of having more money. It's just wrong. Slavery is wrong. And hitting your slave with a rod shouldn't be ok to do.

  2. "If a man practices homosexuality, having sex with another man as with a woman, both men have committed a detestable act. They must both be put to death, for they are guilty of a capital offense." - Leviticus 20:13 NLT

    This is actually a mistranslation; it's actually "having sex with another boy." By the way, more Christians are more accepting of homosexuality than Muslims.

    What if a naive child tries "to do it" with a friend having no idea that the bible states it's wrong. Do he need to die?

    It was mistranslated when it was supposed to be pedophiles but instead it caused homophobia.

    I am in no way a feminist. It's my personal opinion that women who try to compete with men lack ambition. BUT this quote has left me cold. It's just...wrong on so many levels.

    This is referring to in Church learning. Women still play a role in the Church though.
