In 1980 Dio came into Black Sabbath and the idea Tony Iommi had was to make a new band called Heaven and Hell which would have included Dio, Iommi, Butler and Apprice, but they kept the name Black Sabbath for brand recognition and so the title of the new album was Heaven and Hell. in 2006-2010 Heaven and Hell was formed when Dio came back to the band and released The Devil You Know. Heaven and Hell ended after Dio's passing.
