Top 10 Sports Teams that Most Need Relocation
They have terrible attendance, and their stadium is an embarrassment to Major League Baseball. A move from St. Petersburg to Tampa or Montreal would be a smart decision.
The Trop is terrible. I suggest looking at Puerto Rico, Nashville, Buffalo, Montreal, or Charlotte.
There are already three other NBA teams in California: the NBA Champion Warriors, the world-popular Lakers, and the playoff-contending Clippers. Meanwhile, the Kings have been a mess for years and aren't even close to winning another NBA title. A move to Seattle would make way more sense.
Relocate to Seattle and become the Sonics. Everyone would be happy.
Orchard Park isn't a great spot for the Bills, and their attendance isn't impressive. The Jets and Giants have way more fans in the stands. Toronto would be a great place for them to relocate.
I think it's less a matter of "if" and more a matter of "when." Toronto is going to get them, and I think that is pretty much common knowledge.
The franchise is not working, even with Jordan's help. It's not worth sticking around when you're constantly losing millions of dollars annually.
The attendance is terrible! Michael Jordan didn't do anything except change the name of the team. Nobody wants to watch a team that isn't going anywhere. They should move to Buffalo or Tampa.
The Panthers have the worst attendance in the league and have only made the playoffs five times in their franchise history. Their state rivals, the Tampa Bay Lightning, have great attendance and far more playoff appearances. And honestly, who watches hockey in Sunrise? A move to Quebec City would be a smart choice.
The Panthers should move to a place where people actually care about hockey. Canada, the Midwest, or maybe even a smaller market like Omaha, Halifax, or Quebec City would be better options.
The Lightning are so much more popular. I suggest moving to Quebec City.
First off, Grizzlies is a horrible name for a state without any grizzly bears. The team struggles to bring in fans and loses a lot every year. A move back to Vancouver would be ideal.
Leaving Vancouver was a big mistake. They should go back to Canada where there are actual grizzlies.
Not sure about this one. New York City can support multiple teams in basically every sport, and there are enough hockey fans in the area. I was in NYC in 2014 and was impressed by how much the city loves hockey.
The Islanders are not as popular as their city rivals, the Rangers. The move to Brooklyn did nothing for them. They should just move somewhere close.
The Chargers moved to LA as the "second fiddle" team to the Rams, who also moved to LA a year prior. The Rams' move to LA was a success, making it to the Super Bowl in their third season, and they are getting a new stadium in a couple of seasons. As for the Chargers, they have no business being in LA.
Last season, they ranked last in attendance, which is especially bad when you consider they play in a soccer stadium. Even when they do get people in attendance, the crowd is almost always filled with opposing fans. The Chargers should move to Orange County, where they could attract fans from both LA and San Diego. Alternatively, they could just move back to San Diego, as LA can only support one NFL team. To be honest, LA should have gotten the Raiders instead of the Chargers.
Even though Anthony Davis increased attendance, the Pelicans still can't make enough money. They aren't appreciated enough. Moving them to Las Vegas would make more sense.
The team just doesn't seem to have a great following. It's unfortunate, but there are other markets that could use a team.
Carolina doesn't care about hockey. The Southeast only needs two teams anyway. I suggest moving to Houston.
Their attendance was worse than the Coyotes' from 2014-17.
Move to Houston. The name would make more sense.
A close move like San Jose would make sense. Or maybe Montreal.
The name Clippers doesn't make sense because you can only see clipper boats in San Diego.
New York has too many sports teams. They have 2 NBA teams, 2 MLB teams, and 2 NHL teams. Plus, they already have the New York Giants.
This team has been at the bottom of the league since they returned to the NFL.
Why does New York need two MLB teams? They already have the successful New York Yankees, who have won 27 World Series titles, compared to the Mets' two titles, which they won in 1969 and 1986.

The Oilers have been complete garbage since 2006 and have taken four or five first overall picks, trading two of them for nothing! It's surprising how teams like the Coyotes - a team that shouldn't even be in Arizona - have made the playoffs more than Edmonton in the past 10 years.
