They're never going to be good enough to win a championship.
The Toronto Maple Leafs, officially the Toronto Maple Leaf Hockey Club and often simply referred to as the Leafs, are a professional ice hockey team based in Toronto, Ontario. They compete in the National Hockey League (NHL) as a member of the Atlantic Division of the Eastern Conference. They're in the beginning stages of a total rebuild, so nobody is expecting them to start winning anytime soon. Mind you, I am against the idea of intentionally tanking mid-season to increase your chances of acquiring higher draft picks since that strategy is basically cheating. Besides, the NHL allowing it and rewarding a team for failing couldn't be more wrong, in my opinion.
Now, I am first and foremost a Leafs fan, but at this time you can call me a Detroit Red Wings fan. That's a team you can bet your chips on.
The Sacramento Kings are a professional basketball team located in Sacramento, California. Competing in the NBA, they belong to the Western Conference Pacific Division. Although championship success has been elusive, the team has a dedicated fan base. Their colors are purple, silver, and black. They won one NBA Final in 1951! Since then, the Kings have done nothing. I can see a relocation coming soon.

Buffalo Bills had the longest playoff drought of any team which came to an end in 2017. It's a pity this team played in four straight Super Bowls without winning even one trophy, let alone four!

The New York Jets are a professional American football team located in the New York metropolitan area. Super Bowl III Champions, but no more. They've only been to one Super Bowl. Since then, the Jets have never come close. They hardly even make the playoffs. But the fans are still loyal.

They hadn't come close to a championship game until 1994, and they lost that one. They actually made a massive improvement in 2018 with a new quarterback and even reached another championship title, but unfortunately lost to a long-time dominant team, the Patriots, which, surprisingly, makes sense.
This team seems like one that doesn't get the kind of luck it deserves when it needs it. Luckily, they have a bright future ahead of them, and I'm happy to be aware of it as a Chiefs fan myself. They'll get there soon - let's give them some time!
