They decided to make one of Lincoln's sisters, Luna, be a lesbian. Luna is a butch tomboy with short hair. So the show is sending the message that "support" for lesbians is portraying negative stereotypes about them.

The gay men act like women and the punk girl with short hair likes other girls. Stereotype much?
