Top 10 Best Spider-Man: The Animated Series Episodes

Spider-Man: The Animated Series is a 1994 animated television series based on the Marvel Comics superhero. The series focuses on Spider-Man and his alter ego, Peter Parker.

1. Farewell, Spider-Man

   

   The iconic one. Spider-Man meets Uncle Ben, Gwen Stacy, and Stan Lee - the best way to end a great show.

   The perfect conclusion to the series, as Spidey is forced to use everything to overcome self-doubt. It also features an awesome cameo by Stan Lee.

2. The Mutant Agenda

   

   One of the best moments in Season Two. Maybe Herbert Landon wasn't the best villain in the series, but I really liked the chemistry between Spider-Man and the X-Men.

   Spidey and Wolverine, two complete opposites, work together to rescue Beast.

3. Enter the Green Goblin

   

   One of the reasons Season 3 is the best for me is The Green Goblin. Enter the Green Goblin is based on The Amazing Spider-Man #40, a great storyline by the legendary Stan Lee. I think enough has been said. The titular villain is so brilliant here that I have no other choice but to list it as #4.

   We are introduced to the most iconic villain.

4. The Alien Costume Part I

   

   The episode shows the impact on Peter's psyche and brings in Venom, one of the most iconic villains.

5. The Man Without Fear

   

   Daredevil! The crossover with him was brilliantly written, and the chemistry between Spider-Man and Daredevil was pure gold. No words!

   Daredevil makes for an awesome team-up.

   It's rather refreshing to see Eddie Brock get a redemptive storyline.

8. Turning Point

   

   I think I don't have to explain why Turning Point was my second-best episode.

9. The Insidious Six

   

   Six of the best Spidey villains, together! For sure, one of the best episodes of the series.

10. The Six Fight Again

    

    Though it wasn't set in Russia, The Six Fight Again was easily the best episode of the whole Six Forgotten Warriors arc. The arrival of Red Skull was such an epic moment and one of the best scenes in Season Five.

    Ah, the Russian one. I have some problems with this arc, like the fact that Electro's real name is Rheinholt Kragov, or that Captain America wasn't frozen. But the rest is pure gold.

    Spider-Man summons a dream lineup of The Fantastic Four, X-Men, and Avengers to fight a villain team.

    Yeah, though Season 4 was the black sheep, it had a few great episodes like this one. I loved seeing Spider-Man, Green Goblin, and The Punisher in one episode, and Castle isn't forced here. Harry is great as a villain.
