Mike Portnoy is easily one of the best drummers of all time. He brings technically to drumming much like Neil Peart from Rush did but he brings up a notch. He is such a good drummer he could play a whole setlist on just a Hello Kitty Drumset and still be awesome at it.The members of the band’s original lineup consisted of John Petrucci (Guitar), John Myung (Bass) and Mike Portnoy (Drums).
