Maroon 5 is an American pop rock band that originated in Los Angeles, California. Before the current group was established, the original four members, Adam Levine, Jesse Carmichael Mickey Madden and Ryan Dusick, formed a band known as Kara's Flowers in 1994, while they were still in high school.
Their first 2 albums were good, their third was decent but not as good as their first two, and their fourth was still somewhat decent but starting to get generic. Everything after that is garbage. - DaWyteNight

They used to be okay, but they’ve gotten progressively worse over time in my opinion. Their newest album is just mainstream sellout garbage, I absolutely hate their new material. But that’s just my opinion.

I used to be way into them, but I've just grown away from their music. Sure, they still have a few songs I love, for instance, Faget, Daddy, Pretty, all the emotionally meaningful ones.
