Top Ten Best Albums of 1997

The Top Ten
1 Radiohead - OK Computer

What?!?!? This below Shania Twain. People that didn't vote this obviously didn't have the chance to listen to one of many of Radiohead's masterpieces.

Okay, so it's not the greatest album of all time (as many people regard it), but it's without a doubt the best of '97. At least in my opinion.

Good album but overrated.

2 Shania Twain - Come On Over

One of the best albums ever recorded. Shania never disappoints me. Every single song here is brilliant. My most favorite tracks are "You're Still the One", "That Don't Impress Me Much", "You've Got a Way"

I don't even like country-pop music but this one is everything. Shania is a very charismatic artist

3 Bjork - Homogenic
4 Aerosmith - Nine Lives
5 Modest Mouse - The Lonesome Crowded West

As a depressed, lonely, bitter teenager living in the suburbs, I feel like I have a moral obligation to call this my favourite album of 1997.

An unpopular opinion, but I do prefer this to OK Computer. Nothing beats Kid A, though.

6 Yes - Keys to Ascension 2
7 Anggun - Snow On The Sahara
8 Deftones - Around the Fur
9 Godspeed You! Black Emperor - F♯a♯∞
10 Janet Jackson - The Velvet Rope
The Contenders
11 Metallica - Reload
12 Elliott Smith - Either/Or

#16? This is one of the best albums from 97, maybe the best if not for OK Computer

13 Spiritualized - Ladies and Gentlemen We Are Floating In Space
14 Celine Dion - Let's Talk About Love
15 Bryan Adams - MTV Unplugged
16 Strapping Young Lad - City
17 Nimrod - Green Day

Legendary album, major highlight I'd say is GOOD RIDDANCE

18 Thalia - Amor a la Mexicana
19 Incubus - S.C.I.E.N.C.E.
20 Ween - The Mollusk
21 Ocean Machine: Biomech - Devin Townsend
22 Diana Krall - Love Scenes
23 The Verve - Urban Hymns
