103 Zao

This band influenced As I Lay Dying along with many others on here, so I have no idea why they didn't make it anywhere on here.

104 Children of Bodom Children of Bodom Children Of Bodom is a melodic death metal band from Espoo, Finland. Formed in 1993, the group currently consists of Alexi Laiho, Janne Wirman, Henkka Seppälä, Jaska Raatikainen and Daniel Freyberg.

Children of Bodom is not metalcore...

These guys have awesome talent and they play great live. The screaming vocals sound just as good as in the studio. Listen to Die for nothing (for example) - aspasiz

These guys could have easily been the best metalcore/MDM band on the planet had they not broken up after just 2 albums.

106 Threat Signal

What the hell? Have you ever heard "through my eyes"? Ho my god... This place sucks

107 While She Sleeps

At the forefront of new British metalcore along with Bury Tomorrow. Can't believe they're so far down this list

Awesome band, really smart riffs and lyrics too, can't believe this rating.

Probably the most unique metalcore band out there right now. Another of the great British metalcore bands. - Mixer

This is one of my favorite bands right now. Can't believe they're this far down! They need to be at least! 10.

108 Misery Signals Misery Signals Misery Signals is an American-Canadian metalcore band formed in Wisconsin in 2002. The sound of their music is defined by bright melodies backed up by odd time signatures, chugging riffs, and breakdowns.

Seriously should be higher up on the list, were way ahead of there time when Malice was released, and controller is up there with my favourite ever albums. Excellent song writing, they inspired so many bands on this list. So underrated.

Way better than all the other bands on here - at least these guys have musical substance. Proper good quality metalcore.

The depth and complexity in this band is unlike anything, they aren't even really metal core.

Misery Signals so low? They're just as good as Shai Hulud and Converge. Plus, they came from 7A7P.

109 Sonic Syndicate Sonic Syndicate Sonic Syndicate is a heavy metal band from Falkenberg, Sweden. They are influenced by Swedish melodic death metal bands such as In Flames and Soilwork and American metalcore bands like Killswitch Engage and All That Remains.

What about sonic syndicate they are awesome. A mixture of metalcore and death they should on one of the ten metalcore bands. All you people should check it out and trust me you won't be disappointed.

Fantastic band. Check out Only Inhuman, probably their best album. Also check out the band The Unguided. Made from the guys that left Sonic Syndicate.

I believe they are a highly overlooked metalcore band. They have excellent lyrics, vocals, and overall sound.

110 Abandon All Ships

1st Album was one of the best out their but then they start drifting apart little by little

114 Rise to Remain

Nothing against Asking Alexandria, but how is this band ranked so far behind aa? They should at least be right behind aa, if not above. - roarktenjouin

115 Before the Daylight

Really great band. Underground unfortunately, but hopefully that will change. Check out their Facebook. Plus the girl in it is hot.

Great band with really talented guitarists, screams are perfect range every time as well

Great band! They have amazing guitar accompanied with great vocals.

116 Axewound

Technically they are metalcore leaning more towards groove metal with a touch of thrash by far not my favorite but had to add them since it is matt tucks side project from Bullet For My Valentine I still think its cool to see all these bands coming together

Technically metalcore not my favorite but thought it was cool yhat matt tuck from Bullet For My Valentine and liam cormier from Cancer Bats where collaborating if you haven't heard them yet check out my favorite song Destroy or Exorchrist

119 Hopes Die Last

This is what I call "great post-hardcore" If you don't know them, please try them out. You won't be disappointed.

120 Protest The Hero

Great band out of Ontario, Canada. Can almost hit the same notes as Freddie Mercury, and growl with the best of them. Amazing talent across the board with these guys!

So these guys are Metalcore? I love them, but I have no idea what genre they belong to. 'Volition' is a pleasure though, no question.
