This is one amazing film! I must say it is pretty much a girlie's movie.. but a lot of the guys have got into it.. mainly because their girlfriends have persuaded them to watch once too many times hehe. Correct me if wrong though.. any guys love this film without being pressured into it? Hehe :P - ambition

Definitely the best movie ever. I've watched this movie so many times and each times seems like the first time. I cannot stop watching this movie and never get tired of seeing it again and again

Such innocent and beautiful romance, not some nasty, vulgar Jersey shore crap. Bring back movies like this!

The best movie EVER!

243 The Patriot

Probably the best movie ever made but is often thought to be simliar to Braveheart. Not even close. Mel stars in both, but the Patriot is not "controversial" like most (or all) of Mel's directed films. Because Mel Gibson did not direct the Patriot. Harrison Ford turned done the leading role as Benjamin Martin, so I think Mel Gibson was as more relaxed and convincible as he has ever been.

Mel Gibson's greatest performance, with a beautiful score by John Williams - ikingjosh

Been my favorite movie since I was young. Great acting, great storyline. Mel Gibson's best performance, I really think if more people watched this movie, it would be at the top of the list. No doubt.

A good war movie with dramatic scenes - zxm

244 Crash

This movie teases with your emotions like no other. The persons you love will become the persons you hate and the otherway around. Oh and the heartbreaking sequence of a young girl getting shot. Truly the best movie ever made!

Every second a thrill, you sort of think you know what's going to happen, but the dynamics
Of the actors and script, take you on a very convoluted journey.
Keep watching, again, again and again, you manage to feel something different each time.
Brilliant!

Winner of 3 Oscars. One of the most controversial films of all time, full of sadness

How this is rated so low is a mystery.

245 Love Actually

Truly truly heartwarming movie. Just the airport scenes are moving! But it's also great fun.

The mash-up multilinear romantic comedy that marked trends that other similar films would follow. There are just lots of lovable moments and characters. I don't get ever tired of watching it again and again!

The best mixture of All Romance scenes. Worth watching it and it gives lot of enjoyment

If Pulp Fiction was a non-violent, linear RomCom, it would be called Love Actually. - BeatlesFan1964

247 O Brother, Where Art Thou?

Literally the perfect movie.
Even by the excellent standards the Coen Brothers set for themselves.

It has the best cinematography, best soundtrack, and a fantastic adaptation of Homer's "The Odyssey".

Great movie, great acting & direction, great music! George Clooney is magnificent - among his very best performances!

A captivating experience. The genius of Joel and Ethan Coen really shines through with this one!

It's a good movie I mean what it doing at 254 it have good songs, nice story, many charcters

249 Harry Potter and the Philosopher's Stone

Well what can I say? Started one of the best film series ever! Inspired by the one of the first novels I read the whole way through! Definitely has the best Harry Potter quotes!

"You're a wizard Harry" "I'm a what? "
"Can I see your scar? , Wicked! "
"Red hair and a hand-me-down robe, you must be a Weasley! "
"I'm going to bed before we get killed, or worse expelled! " "She really needs to sort out her priorities! "
"Not Slytherin, not slytherin... " "Not Slytherin eh? Are you sure? You could be great you know? It's all here in your head and Slytherin could lead you on your way to greatness there's no doubt about that... No, well if you're sure, better be, Gryffindor! "

That is not what this is called anymore. Honestly, I haven't thought about it in a long time. The films after this just cast a huge shadow over it.

This Harry Potter film should be way higher on this list this is one of the best family films ever

I am so disappointed that HPatPS is so low on this list. What a shame.

250 Paul

This is very likely to be my favourite film. Screw you if you voted something else, this is hilarious, moving, clever, and overall, brilliant. - PositronWildhawk

I laugh whenever I watch it. Quite good!

This movie released in 2011.. One of my Favorite.. Poeple might say it is just a comedy.. But in my view it has lot more thing than that.. It says lot of philosophy.. It just has the comedy theme.. But it is the best movie all the time according to my view..

251 Warrior

This is MMA's Rocky story. Very under-rated movie. Go see it and you will really see how intense and emotional it is. Aussie Joel Edgerton and Tom Hardy were brilliant, and Nick Nolte was just outstanding.

Shocked me. Very powerful stuff!

This movie deserves to be on higher than 131,the matches were very enjoyable, best movie of Tom Hardy (for me) - zxm

253 The Green Hornet
254 13 Going On 30

Such an underrated movie, love it

255 Charlotte's Web (1973)

A beautiful and heartwarming story about true friendship. It shows how a friend can safe a life even if it means giving their own. Belongs in the Top 25.

I barely remember watching this movie but I liked this movie as a kid - Ajkloth

Love it

256 Futurama: Bender's Game
257 Dead Poets Society

The most amazing Drama of all time and this is Robin Williams best movie of all time! This movie kills me, like the quote!

Robin Williams at his best, the most amazing oscar winning masterpiece ever made,

Definitely one of the definitive Robin Williams Pictures, not to be missed by anyone!

Beautiful movie, the end made me cry, it's so sad!

258 Dances With Wolves

A truly timeless epic masterpiece and winner of 7 Academy Awards. The movie touches your soul like no other and has the best score/soundtrack to any movie ever! The Library of Congress recognized this film as being 'culturally, historically, or aesthetically significant'.

It is a sad story, the saddest part being that it's basically a true story. What was done to native Americans was beyond criminal.

Great but very sad story. Graham Greene's performance alone makes this film worth watching.

This movie was a huge hit and should be in at least the top 30 - Sabbath

259 Sin City

This is probably the most violent film I've ever seen. Not just because of blood and gore (though there's some of it. Not all of it), but because every minute you see each character getting shot, stabbed, slapped, or impaled. It's just so insane.

An amazing movie that had the most beautiful women in the world starring in it. it was a visual work of art! definetly deserves a spot on here

A very comical movie with Bruce willis and Jessica Alba and you can't go wrong with the action!

Rodriguez'’s best film by far and a treat for fans of sinful black-and-white noir with a violent twist. The film itself has something new to offer and that is its plus point. Some critics have bashed this film for having less human emotions and giving importance to graphic content in the film. Leave the critics aside, you got to watch 'Sin City' to have one of the best experiences of your life - TechnoTarantino

260 Seven Samurai

This Japanese movie inspired "The Magnificent Seven", and later, " Young Guns". It is the original upon which the others were based. Outstanding, and one of the most classic films of all time.

If you ever get a chance to see this very rare, post-WWII Japanified version of The Magnificent Seven, please do so- it's very much worth your while. In Japanese with English subtitles, it's still very easy to follow and quite entertaining.

The film's strong themes of feudalism and class difference are still very relevant today, no matter what culture you live in. People of any class or background can watch this film and relate to more or less anyone in the film. Furthermore, the cinematography is gorgeous, the music is great and Toshiro Mifune gives an unrelentingly passionate performance as tragicomic character Kikuchiyo.

Below Scooby-Doo (2002). Think about that. - BeatlesFan1964
