81 Die Hard

Not even in the top 100? This is my favorite film and was voted the best action film of all time on many lists on many websites. - sam11855

Empire Magazine puts this as number 29 in the 500 top movies of all time! Probably because of the action and unforgettable moments! One of the best Detective thrillers of all time!

The greatest action movie, that revolutionised effects. It paved way for movies like TransFormers, Equilibrium and The Matrix

One of the smartest, suspenseful, and downright awesome movies I have ever seen. It's not just another dumb action movie.

This is one of the funniest movies I have ever seen. I haven't watched the Simpsons that much but I really love this movie. it's one entertaining movie that's for sure. with every constant joke that works thrown at you. this is probably a movie that I'll be watching over and over again and never get tired of.

I love this movie, it has its flaws but what movie doesn't? Well, anyways cast did great, the special effects were awesome and it's just a great movie, I hope it gets higher on this list. It truly deserves it.

This movie really sunk into my consciousness as a kid one of the more emotional movies I've ever seen

A brilliant film! One of my favorite films of all time! It should at least be at the top 20.

84 The Hunger Games: Catching Fire

Best movie I have ever seen! The second hunger games was so much better than the first

A dark, gritty approach to the world of media and dictatorship, with a fantastic lead performance by Jennifer Lawrence, fast paced action, fresh and meaty political satire and a moody, grim aesthetic, Catching Fire is a surprisingly spectacular YA entry.

I am confused by this list. This is the best movie ever. How could someone prefer the first movie. This is better by some margin. Why behind sponge bob

Explain how this is behind despicable me 2

You can't just refuse it's a the starting movie of nolan's legendary batman series - zxm

No, Dark Knight is the best hands down, but I liked this better than Dark Knight Rises.

Boring

89 Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind

Although it takes a couple times before making sense, it's truly a masterpiece. Kate Winslet is great as Clementine, and Jim Carrey is awesome as Joel. With an all-star cast including Elijah Wood, Mark Ruffalo, Kirsten Dunst, and David Cross, this movie is a cinema legend.

It's one of the few movies I would call absolutely perfect. No flaws, and nothing I don't like about it. It has my favorite score, relatable characters, and it manages to blend reality and dreams incredibly well. It's an amazing movie and it is my favorite movie of all time.

The best film of the last thirty years! Best story, best direction, best cinematography and of course, best screenplay. - Alpha101

One of the best movies of all time first time I saw it was okay.. went too watch it again a few years later by the end of the movie I knew this was a masterpiece - HymenBuster

90 Stand By Me

This is my all time favorite movie. Now, maybe I just love it because I can relate to the kids, because I am close to their age, but this movie is my favorite and I always wish I could go on a journey like that with my friends. Anyone will enjoy!

River Phoenix is astoundingly talented and gorgeous in this film....it's a wonderful, poignant, coming of age story that is honest and brilliantly acted.

Definitely on my top 10 list. Not a fan of Stephen Kings novels but 2 of his shorter works, this (based on "the Body') and Shawshank are on my top 10 movie list.

Should be in the top 20

92 Hot Fuzz

This movie is funny and violent at the same time! Awesome! -

Hot fuzz is a really funny movie with a two awesome police officers who find out the entire city is bad and they get the swat team.

Edgar Wright's greatest movie to date. The comedic timing is second to none and the duo of Simon Pegg and Nick Frost are always lovable!

Best movie ever

93 Inside Out

The picture is wrong, please correct it. The animated film is definitely in the top 10 movies ever. I mean what did you really like about the lord of the rings?

After young Riley is uprooted from her Midwest life and moved to San Francisco, her emotions - Joy, Fear, Anger, Disgust and Sadness - conflict on how best to navigate a new city, house, and school.

Is this the live action version or animation.

Live action animated is at the bottom at says 2015

94 The Truman Show

Very engrossing plot. This should at least be in the top 20. The more times you watch it, the more you see the world differently. As a bonus, jim carrey is in it

...And "Transformers: Dark of the Moon" is above this masterwork. That made me pretty sad. I mean, really? - Donut

Has no one seen this movie? Watch it now

Yes but should at least be in top 20 farr this list is so bad

95 Full Metal Jacket

One of the most iconic thing about this movie, is the unbelievable effect that the Vietnam War has on its troops from the BASE training to the street fights. ARE Lee Ermey is unbelievable.

The best war movie of the 80's for sure. A good combination of Action, Comedy and Drama with a great Climax

The film had so iconic quotes and is most noted for its 40 minute ARE Lee Ermey performance, through the Marine training camp.

Why is mean girls higher than this

96 Inglourious Basterds

It should still move up...

Oh my God this is my favorite movie of all time! Mr. Tarantino is an exceptional director. The villian, Hans Landa (played by Christoph Waltz) is just so infectious, you can't help but take his side every now and then. And Shosanna is such a badass! Watch this movie, you want regret it! (=

I was stunned by how entertaining this movie was, I never laughed and got shocked at the same time so much before! Well I love this movie.

Wheres all the Tarantino movies in the top 10? With out a doubt one of the greatest directors of all time this being one of his best.

97 Captain America: Civil War

Just saw the red carpet premiere last night and this is my review:

A very good thrilling movie with dozens of action and better than Batman v Superman. Best Marvel Movie ever in the entire universe and will should be #1 in the best movies of 2016 followed by Zootopia and The Jungle Book.

How is this below the first avenger? - Triceratops

Looks awesome but why is the first two ahead of this? This is the best Marvel movie yet. Maybe somebody will put this movie on this list and why is it 0% vote?

Funny that is didn't get a single nomination, stupid oscars

98 Aliens

Most amazing project, James Cameron has ever made! Stunning visuals, this moved away from the Horror genre and more to the Sci-Fi/Action side of things, which is much more better. The acting was superb and Sigourney Weaver really looked amazing in this movie. The ending with her fighting the Queen Alien is unbelievable and unforgettable! The film itself contends with the likes of other classic Science Fiction films such as Star Wars, ET and The Matrix!

The best movie of a generation! Quite possibly the most stunning Thriller ever made! People really under appreciate this movie and its predecessor Alien is praised upon more! This movie is better in every single way! It has way more action, more scarier, thrilling, kick ass style, more award winning and much more longer than all three of the films! All the critics hail this movie as the best of the Franchise!

In this case, the critical acclaim is well deserved. I like what you had to say, and I would just add I found Bill Paxton hilarious. This film almost certainly launched his career - Ned964

Only thing that stuffed this movie up was Bill Paxton! His character was so annoying rather than funny! The rest of the movie was perfect 10/10! The best war movie ever produced! Even better than some favorites such as Saving Private Ryan, Troy and even Apocalypse Now!

A great film

99 The Sixth Sense

osment should have won best actor for this film! hands down, he is the most talented kid star of all time!

What a great movie. Should be ranked much higher. What a surprise ending.

Love this movie so much! Haley Joel Osment should have won best supporting actor in the oscars. For me, the best actor goes to who's you will remember in 20 years. And, we remember Haley Joel Osment's performance. Not michael caine in a movie I forgot the name of

I highly recommend it.

100 The Fox and the Hound

THIS IS THE BEST MOVIE THE WORLD HAS EVER SEEN! If you haven't seen this SEE IT NOW! It's on Netflix and Amazon.com! How can you not love this heartwarming story of friendship? Everything about it is done superbly, and it was the last Disney movie not to use computer animation! I cry every-time Widow Tweed has to let Tod go.

BEST MOVIE EVER! Tod is the sweet, innocent, naive fox and Copper is the fast-learning, eager, loyal hound. And I like that even though they're natural enemies, they still become best friends and protect each other. AND I LOVE THE ANIMATION AND MUSIC!

This is the most heartwarming movie I have ever seen. Every time I watch it and hear the fox say to the hound "And we'll always be friends, forever", I cry. The Godfather shouldn't be #1, The Fabulous and the Heavenly should be.

This is the most marvelous movie I have seen in my life no joke.
