Top Ten Best Biosphere Tracks

The Top Ten
1 The Silent Orchestra

An intoxicating and suspenseful environment, with its own definition of dark ambient. It's subtle and slow, yet it chills you right to the bone. There's a psychological hook with the tones of this masterpiece, and it can make any situation spookier. It has helped me get to sleep before, but if you're severely sleep deprived, you really feel it amplified within you.

2 Antennaria

An ideal insomnia cure. It comes with a mind-cleansing dub, which, again, can be spooky, but this track was made to reset your mind and shake off all your stresses.

3 The Eye of the Cyclone

Close your eyes, play this on a heavy bass speaker or with surround sound, and imagine yourself standing at the eye. That's the mood that this incredible piece induces.

4 Sphere of No Form

It starts off subtle, but slowly and surely becomes one of the most extreme tracks in music. It's as if you're hearing the world end.

5 City Wakes Up

A haunting wail throughout the track and a laid back mix of claps, beats and steam sounds gives a recipe for bliss.

6 Kobresia

No idea what the voice is saying, but it is deeply soothing, and even without them, the track is a divine tune to help the stressed and sleepless any day.

7 Microgravity

It does feel like you're floating through space, which is why I play it when looking at NASA news and such. But that voice does give a sense that you are small and isolated. Nevertheless, it's excellent.

8 Corona

A peculiar start, but that's before it gets loud and mesmerising.

9 From a Solid to a Liquid

The white noise of the rain gives way to a light and atmospheric dub bliss.

10 Tranquilizer

The name is very fitting as the track is both intoxicating and suspenseful, yet bound to help you calm down and let yourself go.

There is something very soothing and warm about this track. It's as if your deep in space but everything's alright.
