8 Percy Jackson
Perseus "Percy" Jackson is a fictional character, the title character and narrator of Rick Riordan's Percy Jackson & the Olympians series. Percy Jackson didn't have a choice to become who he is, like most heroes. But he's 16-17. That's about the same age as Spider-Man and Harry Potter. Harry Potter isn't the greatest wizard ever. Albus Dumbledore was. Spider-Man isn't the greatest Avenger. That's either Iron Man or Captain America. But Percy Jackson is the best demigod ever. You may think that's Hercules. But Percy Jackson did everything Hercules did and more. Sure, he had some help. But Hercules did too. And Percy did it when he was less than 17.
With how Percy's life was and is, you would think anyone could turn selfish, vengeful, and angry. People (Gods even) were fighting against Percy from the very start of his existence - something that was a supposed crime itself. But what makes Percy so great is that despite it all, he chooses to do the right thing and fight for the good he sees in the world around him.
Percy Jackson is the greatest. Not because he wanted to but because he kind of had to, and he had support from other characters that added to his character development, so he could get stronger and he never let that go to his head. By the way, he also doesn't wear a cape.

Watching this series with a great protagonist and antagonist, it's one for the books. It's too bad L failed in the end.
He's cute and not a crazy maniac like Kira, aka Light Yagami.
