Top Ten Best Super Villains

The Top Ten
1 The Joker The Joker is a fictional super villain created by Bill Finger, Bob Kane, and Jerry Robinson who first appeared in the debut issue of the comic book Batman (April 25, 1940) published by DC Comics. Credit for the Joker's creation is disputed; Kane and Robinson claimed responsibility for the Joker's design, while acknowledging Finger's writing contribution. Although the Joker was planned to be killed off during his initial appearance, he was spared by editorial intervention, allowing the character to endure as the archenemy of the superhero Batman. The Joker has also been included in many other platforms such as the Arkham game series, the DC animated universe, Young Justice, graphic novels, and ...read more.

The Joker is my favorite supervillian. The Joker is portrayed as a criminal mastermind. The Joker possesses no superhuman abilities, instead using his expertise in chemical engineering to develop poisonous or lethal concoctions, and thematic weaponry, including razor-tipped playing cards, deadly joy buzzers, and acid-spraying lapel flowers. Who wouldn't like that?

He can be portrayed in comic book form, cartoon form, by Jack Nicholson, Heath Ledger, or even Caesar Romero and he still can be a threatening, quirky, and even scary villain. The Joker has been Batman's nemesis from issue number one and has since then become one of the most well known and grim super villains of all time.

Best Movie villain ever created! You can't compare him to any of these peasant down there with such a common personality, motives and origin story..thanks to Jack Nicholson and Heath Ledger whom delivered so well. We can't deny Batman has the best sets of villains relying completely on nothing but themselves no power nuthin'! ( poison ivy maybe not)

This super villain has strength, speed, high level intelligence, he knows all batman secrets, sick mind with many ideas. Batman is the only one who can stop him and if another superhero tries, he will have very bad consequenses. Moreover, he has a body count over a thousand people.

2 Magneto Magneto is a fictional character appearing in American comic books published by Marvel Comics, commonly in association with the X-Men.

Not being evil, but when you think about it, Magneto was right all along. Deep down, he's not really bad, just a badly hurt holocaust survivor. And probably fates most hated person. He had the potential to be a great hero, but buried all of that with his family. He's complex, intelligent, even sympathetic at times, and really believes what he is doing is right. Plus look at his power. And Michael Fassbender is hot.

So charismatic and not a psycho that many people like in a villain. He is a man willing to do whatever it takes to further his people and is still as capable of humanity and mercy as any of us.

In first class he could control metal right? Partly at the end of first class he made him self like a bad @$$. He made porrfesor x have a wheel chair.

Magneto is the best supervillain of all time because first of all he can lift metal,he all most turned the hole world in to mutants and other crazy stunts. Now I like to see joker do that.

3 Venom Venom, or the Venom Symbiote, is an alias used by several fictional characters appearing in American comic books published by Marvel Comics, commonly in association with Spider-Man.

He's the only marvel character that I like but he's my favourite villain by far because he I badass, scary and has always been my favourite villain.

Definitely second favorite supervillan after Loki but I love the Spiderman movies and he's a big part of them too!

I like being bad. You kill the spider, I kill the spider if you vote for me!

To be honest I'm actually scared at this guy when I saw him, I get nightmares lol anyway,

I love him because he is a perfect enemy of Spiderman! Which is my favorite superhero
And he got awesome powers.

4 Loki Loki Laufeyson, or Loki Odinson, is a fictional character appearing in the American comic books published by Marvel Comics. He is the adoptive brother and archenemy of Thor, and is known as the "God of Mischief". In the Marvel Cinematic Universe, the character has been portrayed by Tom Hiddleston.

He's the god of evil and lies, an incredibly complex character, and recent writers are portraying him as a 'new Loki' who is struggling with guilt over his past actions, somewhat attempting to redeem himself while trying to keep his dark nature in check. Plus, Tom Hiddleston as Loki is easily one of the greatest characters in Marvel movies. I could go on forever about why he is Supreme Villain, but I'll sum it up with two words: He's Loki.

One of the most complex characters the MCU has produced, all while being one of the most fun and emotionally engaging. Makes a great duo with his brother, Thor, as both antagonist and ally. Does the mythical version justice like few adaptations have.

I might be a little biased because Loki's my favorite fictional character, but he should TOTALLY be number one! He could easily defeat Magneto and Joker.

After all, he's just so great because of Tom Hiddleston's stunning performance. Anyways, he's great and-that's the truth- he's much stronger than the Joker.

5 Thanos Thanos is a fictional supervillain appearing in American comic books published by Marvel Comics. The character was created by Jim Starlin and Mike Friedrich. The character first appeared in Iron Man #55 and has been portrayed by actors Damion Poitier and Josh Brolin in the Marvel Cinematic Universe.

Thanos should at least be in the top 10. He is an amazing character, a combination of intellect, strength, speed, telepathy, durability, agility, and cosmic strength. All he really wants to do is impress his girlfriend, death.

He has a Infinity Gauntlet: you are done for!
Space Time Reality Soul Mind Power
There is no winning everyone will be warped out of existence.
He clicked his fingers and half of all the life in all the universes were gone!

You know thanos really isn't evil. He is actually saving us from overpopulation, I really don't think he is a villain. He didn't wanna kill the heroes and he didn't. On the fight on titan, he ould have killed everyone with both the reality stone and power but he didn't. He just wanted the stone. I don't think the guy is bad, he just doesn't see from his mistakes

Thanos is great, sure he's a homicidal maniac, but that's okay, I mean every universe needs a big bad and Marvels big bad is the ONE, the ONLY, THE THANOS! (Yeah! )

6 Bane Bane is a fictional supervillain appearing in American comic books published by DC Comics, commonly as an adversary of the superhero Batman.

"And when Gotham turned into ashes.. you have my permission to die" best villain ever!

In the superior spider-man comics he only wants EVERYONE in America to be a part of his huge goblin family! He loves everyone except for peter and his friends. Unlike stupid joker...who wants to KILL EVERYONE in Gotham (wherever that city is! ). He hates everyone except himself!

The only villain to have such a close connection with his Hero counterpart. Peter and Norman are like complete opposites. Norman is all about poe=wer and no responsibility.

He is my favourite Marvel villain of all time!

Definitely, he is so beast. Thumbs up

8 Darth Vader Darth Vader is a Star Wars character and the main antagonist of the first three original Star Wars films and the main protagonist of the Star Wars prequel trilogy under his original name Anakin Skywalker. He had been trained as a Jedi but defected to the Sith lord and Galactic Chancellor Palpatine. ...read more.

He can beat all villians above him:
Joker-Is this a joke? (Get it.) Vader could crush him with his hands.
Magneto-Force crush/choke/repluse/etc.
Venom-Force crush
Loki- Lightsaber/Force mind torture (Although significantly harder to beat than any of the others I have listed)
Bane-Lightsaber/any force powers
Green Goblin-Literally, Vader can toy with him by force pulling his speeder from under him.

Verdict:Vader is the best

The most powerful Jedi and Sith in one cybernetic body, behind a mask of infallibility, but brought to his knees by a single young boy's plea for help. Was he the villain or the victim?

He had the villain role down from day one and did so just by appearance and breathing heavily. Also one of few that could bring a hero to their knees with 5 words.

Darth Vador (aka anikin skywalker) wasn't always bad. He just turned to the dark side because someone from the dark side told him he could save his wife. But he still makes a pretty good supervillan.

9 Two-Face Two-Face/Harvey Dent is a fictional villain from DC Comics. Harvey Dent was one of Gotham's most trusted citizens until he had acid poured on his face making him go insane and become a criminal by the name Two-Face. Itself bad for him

10 Carnage Carnage (Cletus Kassidy) is a fictional supervillain appearing in American comic books published by Marvel Comics, usually as an enemy of Spider-Man. He appeared for the first time in The Amazing Spider-Man #361.

Carnage is just pure evil. He tortured his grandma and dog as a kid and is a crazy serial killer who has escaped from multiple prisons before he got his powers and just kills anyone for fun. He is a pure crazy, cold-blooded, and mercyless killer. He's the perfect villain and he looks totally bad ass.

Dark seid and carnage should be 4 & 6. And how is Mojo Jojo above these BA's

I personally like venom more than carnage, but carnage is just evil, in its purest form

The Contenders
11 Harley Quinn Harley Quinn is a fictional character appearing in American comic books published by DC Comics, commonly as a sidekick of the Joker.

Harleen Quinzel was destroyed by love, Harley Quinn was born out of that wreckage, and Harley freaking Quinn was born from herself.

I love Harley Quinn. She one strong, crazy woman who gets over heartbreak (In suicide squad when everyone believes Joker is dead). She is loyal and has the perfect amount of insanity, humor and perfection. The character as a whole is very humane and real and personally speaks to me on another level.I love joker and Harley together and it's really hard picking one over the other.Harley should be 2nd on this list with Joker being 1st.

I really really like her

12 Catwoman Catwoman is a fictional character appearing in American comic books published by DC Comics, commonly in association with the superhero Batman. ...read more.

She is almost invulnerable as her gorgeous body can turn into diamond. 15 Lex Luthor Alexander "Lex" Luthor is a fictional supervillain appearing in American comic books published by DC Comics.

No mercy. Psychology intelligent criminal. Some activities is equal to the joker.

He is one of the brightest minds in any comics.

This guy is the greatest mind of all time he does not deserve to be ranked this low

16 Deathstroke Deathstroke is a fictional supervillain appearing in American comic books published by DC Comics. The character was created by Marv Wolfman and George Perez. He is a mercenary and assassin who first appeared in The New Teen Titans #2.

He is able to use 90% of his brain at the same moment.
Normal pepole can use 20-30%. He has the strength of 10 men and is very skilled in almost every weapon. So he's a master of tactics and could take down a big group of enemies with his fists pretty easy...
And he's name is deathstroke!

Deathstroke is one of my favorite villains. With the Mirakuru in his blood he has more power than he can control. It just makes his character more unstoppable.

The only reason I vote for Darkseid is because Marshal Rankk and Overload are not on this list. Marshal Rankk is the best,he is strategic, mysterious, and you can relate him to a bunch of villains like Riddler.
