Top 10 Most Powerful Marvel Characters

The Marvel Universe is packed with characters who can shatter planets, rewrite reality, and bend time itself. Some rely on sheer physical strength, others wield cosmic forces beyond comprehension, and a few exist on a level so far beyond the rest that they barely acknowledge lesser beings at all.

With so many larger-than-life figures, it's not always easy to say who stands at the very top.

This list is shaped by votes from fans like you, helping to determine which Marvel characters truly hold the most power. Some names are obvious, ruling over galaxies and entire dimensions. Others might surprise you, proving that raw strength isn't the only way to dominate. The multiverse is a vast and unpredictable place, and power can come in many forms.

The Top Ten
  1. One Above All

He controls everything that goes on in the multiverse, other universes, and other dimensions. He is omnipotent and omniscient. He sent the Living Tribunal to help him watch over everything, who is like the third most powerful being. Need I say more?

Name says it all. The most powerful being allowed in the Marvel Universe.

He is the god of the Marvel Multiverse. How is he below Thanos and Galactus?!

  2. Thanos

Thanos is a fictional supervillain featured in American comic books published by Marvel Comics. He was created by Jim Starlin and made his first appearance in Iron Man #55, published in February 1973. This guy should be number one because he is also known as the most powerful being in the universe.

  3. Galactus

Galactus is a fictional character appearing in American comic books published by Marvel Comics. He was originally a mortal man named Galan who was transformed into a cosmic entity during the destruction of the previous universe. Galactus consumes planets to sustain his life force and serves an essential... read more

Should be #2 in my opinion, not as strong as the One Above All, but definitely stronger than Thanos, even if Thanos had the Infinity Gauntlet. He can eat whole planets! Not only does he do that, but he is also called the Lifebringer, meaning he can create life. Devourer of Worlds and Lifebringer, not to mention the Power Cosmic. And if you have the Silver Surfer working for you, you know you're doing something right.

He can literally eat planets. That's enough to be second.

He swallows up planets and can control galaxies and the universe.

  4. Beyonder

How the hell are Galactus and Thanos above the goddamn Beyonder, who is stated to be larger than the entire Marvel universe itself? Beyonder should be in second place, right next to the One Above All.

Edit: I don't know why Galactus is even above the Beyonder on this list, because Beyonder one-shot Galactus with an energy blast in the Secret Wars comics and Galactus was a fly compared to the Beyonder.

Beyonder can literally do anything with his strength. He controls all the planets, every action, and every move.

  5. Phoenix Force

Jean Elaine Grey-Summers is a fictional superhero appearing in American comic books published by Marvel Comics. The character has been known under the aliases Marvel Girl, Phoenix, and Dark Phoenix. She is a founding member of the X-Men and one of the most powerful mutants in the Marvel Universe.

Firstly, Thor Odinson is a god, and being a god, he should be powerful. He is the son of King Odin (as per his surname: Odinson). His Mjolnir and thunderous powers are just intolerable to most superheroes, except a few. Hulk could not manage to lift it. Besides, he is the God of Thunder.

Thor is super powerful. He was able to hold his own against Hulk himself.

He is immortal, stronger than anyone, and more powerful.

  9. Odin

Odin is the father of the Thunder God, Thor. He once flicked Galactus away as if he were shooing away a bird. Let's not forget, he's the All-Father! I'm not saying he's better than Galactus, The One Above All, The Beyonder, The Living Tribunal, or The Phoenix Force. But he's surely better than the Silver Surfer and Dormammu. Not sure about Eternity. Tell me what you think in the comments below! The Hulk, his own son Thor, and not sure about Thanos either. Tell me in the comments below! Odin's definitely not number twelve, at least number ten. Hope you think so too!

Odin is the strongest god ever.

Wanda literally created a whole other reality around a town, can erase reality, and in the comics can go head to head with Phoenix Jean Grey. How is she not higher?

How is she not number one? She was able to take down Thor without getting a scratch! And she could have destroyed Thanos if she hadn't been hit by an air force missile!

Are you joking, 22nd place? And behind Doctor Strange, who she clearly beats in Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness, and Thanos, who is so scared of her that he has to set fire to his troops? Like, what is going on with the world?
