Top 10 Strongest Comic Book Superheroes

The world of comic books is filled with beings of immense power, each with their unique skills, abilities, and feats of strength. They come from distant galaxies, alternate realities, hidden kingdoms, and often from the very world we know. Whether they're lifting mountains, flying at super speed, manipulating matter, or reading minds, these superheroes push the boundaries of what's possible and inspire us with their extraordinary feats.

What truly makes a hero strong, however? Is it just their superhuman abilities, or is there more to it? After all, strength isn't merely a physical attribute. A truly strong hero is also defined by their indomitable spirit, their capacity to endure in the face of adversity, and their commitment to doing what's right, no matter the cost. So while we appreciate those who can bench press a planet, we also value the heroes who stand tall against the forces of evil, even when the odds are stacked against them.

So, who are the strongest comic book superheroes? It's a question as varied as the characters themselves. Maybe it's the superhero who can move mountains with a flick of their wrist, or the one who can travel through time and space. It could be the hero who can outsmart their enemies with superior intellect, or the one whose willpower alone can reshape reality. Perhaps it's the hero whose courage, resilience, and dedication inspire those around them, demonstrating that sometimes, the most potent strength comes from within.
The Top Ten
1 Superman Superman is a comic character. And probably the first powerful superhero in the fictional world. The character was created by writer Jerry Siegel and artist Joe Shuster, high school students living in Cleveland, Ohio, in 1933. It was published by DC comics. The first animated superhero movie was superman. The origin story of Superman relates that he was born Kal-El on the planet Krypton, before being rocketed to Earth as an infant by his scientist father Jor-El, moments before Krypton's destruction. Discovered and adopted by a Kansas farm couple, the child is raised as Clark Kent and imbued with a strong moral compass. Very early on he started to display various superhuman abilities, which, ...read more.

Superman has sneezed away a solar system tho. And is faster than an average green lantern and they are 87.6 quadrillion times the speed of light. He is also infinite multiversal by killing the personification of the end of time. He also survived a hit from Darkseid's omega beam which is comparable to the hakai from dragon ball which is an instant death attack. He also survived an attack that had all energy of the antimatter universe so sadly NO ONE stands a chance. Hulk is pathetically weak when compared to superman. And hulk cannot stay angry forever so he would go back to Bruce Banner after a certain time and lose instantly.

Maybe not the strongest in terms of actual strength, but Superman could still destroy anyone on this list.

The madder Superman gets the stronger he gets! Oh wait, that's some one else who should be number 1.

No matter how many powers he has, strength wise he can't compete with The Hulk or The Sentry.

2 The Incredible Hulk Robert Bruce Banner, also known as The Hulk or Bruce Banner, is a fictional superhero appearing in American comic books published by Marvel Comics. The character was created by Stan Lee and Jack Kirby and was portrayed by Edward Norton and Mark Ruffalo in the Marvel Cinematic Universe.

Hulk is just the strongest thing on the whole comic universe. Nothing is stronger than him or better than him.

If Superman is the man of steel than Hulk would be the man of adamantium. Can Superman get stronger as he gets madder?

Strongest bloody thing on the planet, how the bloody hell is batman stronger than the hulk

Hasn't Batman beat Superman more than one. He is the strongest hero.

Batman may not have lazar eyes or freeze breath, but he knows when he walks into danger head on he could be caput! Superman can walk up to Doomsday, and think well I'm not gonna die! Except the cliché of a criminal careing kryptonite! Lame

He has been portrayed by Eric Allan Kramer in the TV film, The Incredible Hulk Returns and Chris Hemsworth in the Marvel Cinematic Universe.

What? Why isn't he nr 1? Look away from the movies and look on the comics. He was originally made to be the strongest superhero of all time. You need to do research before you vote. He has limitless strength. Supermans strength is depended on starlight, hulk is depended on rage to become strong. Thor isn't depended on anything. He just has as much strength as his weight (600kg) can possess all the time. And he can double that strength level with his belt. Superman weights 101kg. There is no sense that he ever should be able to lift something heavier than Thor when they both can move faster than the speed of light and Thor have like 12x time more mass than him. Understand physics and comics.

Thor has lifted such heavy objects. He definitaly deserves a chance on this list.

People think Superman is stronger than everyone, but that is wrong!

Flash is fast, so fast that in a comic book, he says that he passed Superman a "million" (literally) times even before he could notice! He can travel with a speed of 250 quattuordecillion times faster than the speed of light! (Quattuordecillion is 45 zeroes after 1.) He can change the entire history in a second. What if he just went and killed Superman when he was a baby?

Yes, Superman is strong. Yes, there were races in which both have participated, but they're charity races in which Flash didn't use his true power. He never lost either. They usually end up with a draw or Superman losing, I think.

Not only is he fast, he's also extremely strong.

25 Aquaman Aquaman is a fictional superhero appearing in American comic books published by DC Comics. Created by Paul Norris and Mort Weisinger, the character debuted in More Fun Comics #73.
