2 Hippopotamus The common hippopotamus, or hippo, is a large, mostly herbivorous mammal in sub-Saharan Africa, and one of only two extant species in the family Hippopotamidae, the other being the pygmy hippopotamus.

This is no contest. A hippo can kill a crocodile with one bite, and can run faster than a human on land. Plus, they're responsible for more than 100 human deaths a year.

Wait, so lions (which kill about 50 people each year), and mosquitoes (which kill about 1 million people each year) are lower than cheetahs (which there has been only one case of a cheetah fatally attacking a person)?! WHAT?! I'm disappointed in humanity. This had the potential to be a good list.
