Top 10 Best School Grades
In Kindergarten, you just play with toys, sleep, and don't have to worry about grades, tests, or homework.
For me, 4th grade was probably one of the worst years of my life. I got bullied for being the shortest girl in the class. A boy named Alex almost threw a dead wolf spider on me (on purpose). I had a mean teacher, and I was known as the weirdo in 4th grade.
Kindergarten was amazing. Everybody thinks you're adorable, so you never get messed with. Kindergarten teachers are generally amazing, sweet, kind people, and you have literally no homework.
In 5th grade, there was a dance party and a pool party just for 5th graders. Since no one is older than you in 5th grade, you rule the school until the teachers walk by. 5th grade was the best so far because I had perfect grades, an awesome group of friends, and amazing teachers.
When I was in 5th grade, there was an ice cream party for kids who got As and Bs the entire year, which I got to attend. I also attended a pancake party, and let me tell you, that pancake party ranks higher than all of my birthdays combined on a scale of awesomeness.
There were only two or three school bullies, but one of them was in 3rd grade, and I could easily lift him off the ground if I wanted to get back at him. One of the coolest things you could do in 5th grade was sign up for safety patrol. I told my best friends to sign up because I wanted to experience it with them, and they did.
The rules were that if your grades dropped to a D or lower, or you got suspended or written up, you would have to turn in your awesome-looking badge. New safety patrol members had to wait for a half day because on half days, you would greet everyone at school with goodbyes at the main entrance/exit. After being on safety patrol for two months, about four half days have gone by, and you sort of get a promotion. Then you patrol hallways for an hour per day, and the best part is that you get to skip one hour of any subject you choose.
I chose writing, and that was the second-best decision I ever made in 5th grade, joining the safety patrol being the first. I found out that my grades didn't drop when I missed writing just because I was on safety patrol. Now, here's where it gets exciting. After you greet people goodbye and patrol the halls for an hour per day, you get your next promotion to bathroom patrol. That is the worst part of the safety patrol, even though I had a salary of $5 a week.
The exciting part is that if you get to school early, normally you have to wait to... more
My fourth-grade year started out kind of rough. A kid two grades ahead of me, who was a really good friend of mine, was starting middle school, and I made my first enemy.
After dealing with those parts, it was a good year for me. I went on a field trip to Harrisburg, and my teacher was AWESOME! Social Studies was especially awesome.
Honestly, this was my 2nd favorite year of school because the teacher was great and wasn't lazy or mean. Math was easy, and there were lots of interesting new things.
I loved it.
I miss Grade 4 so much. Our entire class was a huge, happy friend group. I had a nice teacher, and I didn't have to worry about anything.
My grades were also good, but I'm a perfectionist, so yeah.
My teacher is like the best teacher.
Floats? Yum! Marble parties and perfect attendance parties? Fun! Hating her? Dumb!
My teacher was awesome, and my life went from awful to good. I took fun field trips, and many other good things happened.
I had a nice teacher that spoiled us! I miss 2nd grade. Best grade ever!
We had something called "Quiet Time" where we could do whatever we wanted for 10-15 minutes. It could be on the computer, you could draw, almost ANYTHING. We even watched movies.
There was also something called passion projects where we could make a project about our passion. In math, we played math games on the computer (sometimes). Most of all, my teacher was super funny and not that strict.
3rd grade has to be the best. My teacher was the best part because, even though she was around 48, she was always fun and really laid-back. I remember saying, "Um, Mrs. [Teacher], can you repeat that because I had to pick up my water bottle that fell." And guess what? She did! Nowadays, when you ask a teacher to repeat something, they give you a dirty look and repeat it while watching you like a hawk.
Overall, it was a good year. Even though I had only one friend, he was a good one. I had no idea that 3rd grade would be the one I should've enjoyed while it lasted. This should be number one on the list!
Senior year, the best year of high school, turned out to be a disaster just because of one stupid class. Do not take AP Calculus AB. Big mistake. This class is meant for high school students who excel in difficult college math, not some average high school seniors.
While most seniors are taking Pre-Calculus, I'm stuck in a calculus class with 15 other nerdy students (two of them are in 10th grade. Pretty impressive). The course moves at a very fast pace, and most of the questions on tests and quizzes are challenging or never taught in class. I ended up getting a 60 in the first semester and a 64 in the second semester. It's not even a surprise that I got a 1 on the AP Exam.
I wish I had never skipped to Algebra 1 back in 8th grade and stuck to Pre-Calculus during my senior year. AP Calculus AB is basically the only reason why my transcript is horrible.
That year gave me a lot of anxiety, but 8th grade is the one year where you start to form your friend groups and you can basically start over if you want to.
For instance, if you messed up badly in seventh grade, you get a fresh start. Plus, being a freshman, most of the friends I speak to are the ones I made in eighth grade.
For many people, it is the starting point of high school, which means teachers go easy on you. It is much easier than grade 7 when they gave us such a heavy load of work.
You can also remember it better than kindergarten.
Honestly, I liked grade 1. The teacher was nice, and I just had a lot of good memories back then.
This was the best for me. Math was super fun, we did fun things, and we had Windows XP. So many memories.
I had the best teacher ever in first grade.
This grade is my favorite. I don't know why, but I like how the numbers are going. I had great things happen this grade.
I see how most people hated this grade because there were a lot of bad things happening in their personal lives, like upperclassmen picking on or bullying them, getting put in special ed/resource classes, and having a hard time getting good grades. There were also police officers arresting them!
It really bothers me to see how people claim 9th grade was the worst grade. You can either like or dislike my comment, that's fine because plenty of people had a good time and enjoyed this grade like me.
So you need to be accepted even though you hate this grade!
I'm not in grade 10 yet (I will be this September), so the only reason I voted for it is because grades 10-12 at my school get an extra day of summer break. Plus, grade 10 seems to be the least stressful year in high school. You won't feel like you're on the bottom like you do in grade 9, but at the same time, you don't really have to worry about college yet.
I moved from Africa this grade. I met The Plastics, and they made me famous just like them. I won Spring Fling Queen in Grade 10, and I met the love of my life this grade.
Yeah, it's you, Aaron! This is the best grade.
The start of a non-universal middle school life... As a turning point in my life, it was hard to adapt at first to the environment. Eventually, I made close bonds with my friends, went out of my introverted shell, and developed as a mature student. My grades didn't change though (I still got A's in the 2017-2018 school year).
In 8th grade, I continued to become the student I am today and began understanding the importance of being myself. I'll never forget my middle school years, especially 7th grade! Let's hope I improve even further during high school.
I loved sixth grade. Sure, bad stuff happened like relatives dying, a car crash, hospital visits, and my mother spraining her wrist, but hey, 6th grade was the best for me so far!
I had a huge crush on a dude, and went around forever without anyone knowing. I was the one who finally got the chance to tell someone I liked them without a friend doing it and embarrassing me. Plus, my teacher was amazing! Even though she split her head open, and her brain was bleeding, she almost died. She can't smell or taste, but she was still an amazing teacher! Greetings to you, Mrs. Martin (ha, beat ya!). Also, I loved my math teacher. She was fun.
It's great. Only two years left in school, all wrapped up in the anticipation of Senior Year and Graduation. Best of all, this is the grade many get their driver's license.
It's great being in 11th grade because you're over halfway done, you're one of the big kids, and you still don't have to freak out over college yet.
When I was in preschool, I was 4 going on 14. I ditched class a few times, was the spoiled princess preschool bully, and once threw a ball over the playground fence and laughed about what I did.
I guess you could say I peaked in preschool.
You get to take naps, and I only had to go a half-day 2 or 3 days a week. Didn't have to get up too early.
Honestly, I liked preschool. It had problems, but I didn't remember anything.
Grade 13 is the best because the classes only focus on your interest. College has more freedom. Even though I'm only in 6th grade, it would be an exciting year for me!
Sheesh, this year is the best. I am only in 9th grade, but 13th is where it's at. Greatest Of All Time. (GOAT Status)
Grade 13 is the best year to be in school.
