Worst Grades of School

The Top Ten
  1. 7 Grade

God forbid I ever have to deal with 7th grade again. I literally lost most, if not all of my hope, motivation, and energy, from a month in that hellish grade alone. 90% of the people that I once knew in my class turned from being themselves into becoming wannabe cool kids.

Being very anti-social myself, I only had to witness the true horrors social-wise, including two best friends breaking apart because one of them wanted to be best friends with somebody "cooler" more, and that's just one of them.

Because I go to a private school, I might've not even witnessed the true horrors that everyone else speaks of, but I still have had to deal with many of these awful things. For the teachers, it felt as if they literally searched for the worst teachers to work in the middle school classroom at my school (like I said, my school works a little different). The worst case of this was the aid in my classroom I had to deal with for the whole year, of whom discouraged and judged everybody over actions a few students did.

Through the year, I became much more lazy, for I was depressed, knowing I would have to deal with another day, day after day. Around April, I couldn't take it any longer, and every single time I woke up to get ready for school, my first emotion was absolute fear, as all of those bad memories and thoughts would just flow in my head.

Then, once I was finished with 7th grade, it took me almost half of summer just to somewhat recover, and even then, memories of 7th grade were absolutely horrible for me. I'd literally be absolutely broken at this point if I EVER had to deal with that awful grade ever again, especially if it was in the same circumstance as I originally did.

  2. 6 Grade

Everybody in sixth was such a prick. They thought they were on top, because it was the last year of elementary school. They tried to act like sixteen year olds, but really acted like six year olds... they swear too much and the teacher did nothing, giving the bad kids these points that we were able to use to buy things. (usually candy, stuffed animals, or sometimes even earbuds) Everybody had their own friend group that they've been in since maybe third or second grade, and kids who didn't were just friendless. Everybody was homophobic (which was a nightmare because I am bisexual) and made biggoted jokes. So yeah, sixth was pretty sucky for me.

  3. 8 Grade

I'm currently in eighth-grade and from my experience, I can definitely say that eighth-grade is one of the worst grades (sorry seventh-grade and under). This is the time when the adults really stop caring about you. They only put their time and energy and love to meet the needs of all of the "cute little kids", and really we're just pushed over so that everyone can coddle the younger kids. A fourth-grader punches you? Too bad. You can't do anything back or you'll be mocked and teased. No one cares about the older kids anymore. The popular, loud, and obnoxious kids own the school, walking around thinking they're all that, never giving the timid, shyer, quieter students a chance. Friends leave. Anger/emotional issues. Depression. Busy work. Dumb teachers. Scorned for not wearing cooler clothes or acting differently than the popular kids. Not to mention you're losing some of your closest friends when you leave middle school for high school. I hope whoever's reading this will keep striving to reach your wildest dream. Prove them wrong.

  4. 5 Grade

I just graduated 5th grade. I barely had any friends in my class, all of my friends were in one other class, I was basically only known in my class for my drawing skills, I used to be claimed "funny" in K-4 grade but all of my jokes and impressions were barely laughed at, I was talked about behind my back, I had trouble in math, and I embarrassed myself in class by sobbing over a fear of something. 5th grade wasn't the best grade ever, I actually enjoyed it at times. It was just difficult though. The last day (field day) was the best though because a person that didn't like me for the whole year became my friend and acted very kind towards me. Also, I won a free liter of soda! The last day was pure awesomeness.. I wish the rest could've been like that.. Ah well! Let's see how 6th grade goes!... Wait, 6th grade is in the top ten? Oh boy. I can't wait..

  5. 9 Grade

This is the grade that I'm currently right now, and it's actual TORTURE. I have to do a lot of tests every week, NAPLAN on the first term, (NAPLAN is an Australian test website and it sucks so bad and we usually do it on the second term) getting bullied by a lot of people especially the teachers, and worst of all, millions of stress spread around my whole body. This grade must be number one.

I have a friend (or so I thought) she would make me do stuff for her... CONSTANTLY! I'm tired of her doing that and it makes me angry. I turned 16 yesterday and now she's 15 (PS: I'm a sophomore and she's a freshman) At least her mom told her to stay away from me from now on, because I'm getting tired of her attitude and plus, I hang out with her older brother sometimes (I've known him since last year when he was a junior, so now he's a senior) my friend (who is also 16 and is a sophomore) went through the same problem I did and she was getting on our nerves. At least when me and my friend were freshman, we were mature enough to handle ourselves

  6. 12 Grade

Has the least challenge and conflict. But at the same time it feels the least necessary. Once you're set to go to college, it feels like you're wasting an extra 6 months.

I had a very strict homeroom teacher in 12th grade. She obviously hates me because she gets me in trouble for stupid things (or nothing) almost all the time.

Senior year is fun except for the boring assignments. Also senioritis hits hard. But it is the best year of high school. Sophomore year is worst in my opinion.

  7. 4 Grade

Oh god... I remember that 3 months before the last day of school out teacher decided to take a break, so she got a substitute teacher. Worst teacher I had in my life. I remember two kids got in a fight; it first started verbally but then it got physical. The substitute was just watching the fight! She did a lot of other bad things like scolding a kid if they got a grade lower than a B-, leaving the classroom for about 20 minutes, and she even changed our lunch time! We were the last ones to eat! The worst thing she had ever done was a week before the last day of school. She had put school computers on everyone's desk, and a small trifold so we couldn't see what someone else is doing on the computer. She said we could play "games". She had put a list of links on every computer... Expect one of the links was supposed to give you a virus. The link looked like someone had typed random words then ended it with.com. I knew there was something with the ink so I didn't click on it, but someone else did. Their computer turned red and the teacher called the principal to let him know. They were both screaming at the kid in front of me and my other classmates! But if the teacher put the links, it might have been a plan! I still wonder if that was a plan to this day.

  8. 10 Grade

Today is my last day of 10th grade, and we shall all be thankful for that. Such an abhorrent year. The anxiety and the stress were at ridiculous levels, hormones and emotions were uncontrollable, oral presentations left and right, a research paper, slumping this last quarter, idiot students not getting a clue/taking a hint, and terrible, TERRIBLE teachers. While I made more friends this year than I have any other school year, everything else just sucked real hard. Screw 10th grade and the fact that it's lower than 7th grade, the fact that 7th grade is considered the worst is just insulting to me.

Everyday there was overload work that was finished at 1:00, and teachers who could not teach for crap. Between all 8 classes there was at least 1 test everyday. This grade was the most boring because I didn't learn squat, and the most difficult. I was happy on my last day of this dark age of life called "sophomore year". The last day had felt like a 747 jet has been taken off of my shoulders, I'll never forget that spectacular date!

  9. 11 Grade

To all the babies (aka 8 grade and bellow) you have not had a hard time at school. I thought my worst years were in middle school but boy was I wrong. Teachers don't care about your feeling in high school, you have to grow up, I take 3 COLLAGE classes, bullies are worst than ever because you have had more time to do bad embarrassing things. P.S get over yourselves, your problems will multiply my 3

Oh my gosh. Studying for the SAT over the summer (at least for others), taking it, doing AP, HL, DP, and IB courses added on with planning out college apps and internals... it's all crazy. I took the ACT in sophomore year and got that over with (since I did well) so it wasn't too bad. Even with that in all mind, social drama starts to set in and things get all cliquey (even with a small school like mine).

  10. 3 Grade

I just got out of this grade and it sucked! Mostly because of the teacher. Story: In this grade on Monday I had a spelling pre-test and if I missed any of the words I would have to take the spelling test that applied for all the students in my class. And the school has a grandparents day were the grandparents come in and there is a feast and all that. And it was a Friday turns out when I went upstairs to my classroom with my grandma I had missed the spelling test and my teacher got mad at me and said "Well you were with your grandparents." Isn't that stupid! Another story: So my school has library time on Thursdays where the students get to read and all that. So I was reading and my friends were playing a board-game and I went over to them and said "Can I play" and instead of yes they rudely said "No! " So I went over to my teacher and told on them and guess what. SHE AGREED WITH THEM! "

  11. The Newcomers
  12. ?

    13 grade

This grade was so awful, I wished a few years ago it didn't exist...

Wait... there's a thirteenth grade? Oh, hell no!

I have no 13 grade, so it's probably my worst year.

  13. ?

    Preschool

This shouldn't even be on the list. You can't even remember any memory of Preschool so its hard to get a foothold on what happened during that time.

Old preschool: so I went to the 1st day we did fun stuff then we had the horrible thing ever of taking GASP naps at the end so we moved then I been in that school for 3 years until we moved and I started a new school in 4th grade Trust me how I felt when I was line leader o.o I'm still scared

I was super shy and socially awkward in preschool, and I didn't have any friends back then. I probably would have loved preschool if this wasn't the case

  14. The Contenders
  15. 2 Grade

I got bullied SO bad this year. This girl wouldn't let me socialise with anyone then she moved to Denmark, leaving me with no friends. My best friend gad moved to Canada earlier in the year and she was the only one who new about it. In third grade I had no friends because I knew no one and I hated it. I literally trailed around the playground with nothing to do. The only good thing that came out of this is the fact that I got much more time to do my school work, and my grades were much better.

My 2nd grade year was BY FAR the worst school year I have EVER gone through. And it was all due to my teacher. She was old and extremely cranky. She also had no patience with kids, and would discipline anyone over the smallest things. I ended up having to stay after school (detention) over not listening to minor things. The 2nd semester wasn't as bad, but I still hated 2nd grade as a whole. Thankfully, this was the teacher's last year of teaching before retirement.

  16. Kindergarten

I hated Kindergarten. My teacher hated my guts. One time in class, we were getting ready for Show and Tell, and the teacher pulled me from it, saying my item was inappropriate. It was a stuffed dinosaur.

Then we had to go to gym class, where my gym teacher hated me as well. I walked to my assigned spot on the floor while everyone else sat on the bleachers. He told us to run around the gym, and then he yelled, "SETH! Get over here!" I went over there, and he said, "Go sit down on the floor," and everyone started laughing at me. I cried, and the gym teacher sent me to the office because of this.

Luckily, the principal was really nice and let me stay there for the rest of gym class. She sent me back to gym class, and they were leaving. So we walked down the hallway, and my teacher said, "Seth, go back to my room and go to the time out corner." I asked why, and she said, "You're not in a single file line, Seth. You are probably the dumbest kid here."

I went there and bawled my eyes out. Thank God my mother cared and pulled me from that class. I never went to that class again, and I never went to that school again. Kindergarten was by far the worst school year for me.

  17. 1 Grade

I did very well in 1st grade... Until the 2nd month of school (in 1st grade) everyone lied, backstabbed, etc. A bunch of times I got in trouble for stuff I didn't do, that goes for lies. Luckly I got in a group that was all about that stuff and I fit right in... Now look where I am... 6Th grade :P

My absolute rock-bottom year. No friends in 1st Grade, because all my other friends were in different classes. My teacher hated me for no reason, and gave me eratic punishments for doing small things (sounds stupid, but I washed my hands in the watering fountain, and for that, my teacher gave me 45 minutes at the punishment table). Just overall, awful. 1st Grade was plain awful.
