Top 10 Most Overpowered Video Game Characters

From the early days of gaming to the high-tech virtual playgrounds of today, there have been characters that just seem to break the mold. These are characters that make you throw your hands up in despair or triumphantly raise them in victory.

Some might argue that these characters unbalance the game, while others might see them as the epitome of strategy and skill. The truth probably lies somewhere in between. What's undeniable is that these overpowered characters add a layer of complexity, challenge, and excitement to the gaming experience.

The Top Ten

Meta Knight is everything. He's all you ever wanted. He can win a set now even if you never won it. Clashes, he always wins. Trades, they are never going to. You want him forever. Any counterpick, he's better on it.

Go play Super Smash Bros Brawl and play Meta Knight. Then you will see why Meta Knight is more powerful than anyone or anything.

Meta Knight is 100% overpowered, and he is banned from some tournaments unless players promise not to spam the Mach Tornado move.

  2. Chuck Norris - MUGEN

Should be number one by far in terms of pure overpoweredness. He literally causes damage to you by walking. With every single step he takes, no less. The entire screen shakes from the force of him walking.

One guy even said that Chuck Norris can blow up the moon in one stomp. He can even push the Earth using push-ups. His blood temperature is 98 degrees Celsius. And much, much more.

You can tell that he's so good at this game because he can take over all of the characters with his power and strength.

  3. Mega Rayquaza - Pokémon

Mega Rayquaza is a Legendary Pokémon species. It is the Mega Evolution of Rayquaza, introduced in Pokémon Omega Ruby and Alpha Sapphire. Unlike other Pokémon, Mega Rayquaza does not require a Mega Stone to evolve, instead transforming by knowing the move Dragon Ascent.

So overpowered, Smogon literally made a new tier for this guy, which is the highest tier. It got banned from even Uber. Yeah.

Honestly, now that Naganadel has been introduced, it's pretty fast to move Rayquaza to Ubers.

PLEASE make Kirby a higher character. Chara sucks. All she does is press a button, while Kirby can crack a planet in half. He even beat one of the most dangerous and strongest Dragon Ball characters: Majin Buu.

Kirby has access to all the abilities in the game, including the overpowered ones. This means that Kirby is both the most overpowered character and the most underpowered character at the same time.

He has infinite power and defeated two beings that destroyed the entire omniverse (Void and Drawcia), also two beings that can do so with just ten words (NOVA and Star Dream). How is he not first?

There's a fine line between being a centralizing force in the metagame (like Pikachu in Smash 64) and being overpowered. Pikachu does not cross that line.

Ratchet is one of the main protagonists of the Ratchet & Clank series. The franchise was created and developed by Insomniac Games and originally released as a PlayStation exclusive. Ratchet is a Lombax mechanic who travels across the galaxy alongside his robotic companion Clank.

Ratchet has always been a badass little rabbit. He is not a weak yuppie. He has a cool story. He earned his overpoweredness. He should be in Smash Bros and Rayman.

He is the strongest of them. These other idiots think first, Aww, a little kitty wants to play, but then Ratchet shows his RYNO V and kills these guys.
