    Since I was only a minor fan of the HP (Harry Potter) series, I originally liked Hagrid & Ron the most. However, after developing more interest in the series, Harry easily became my favorite character and fascinated me more than any other character ever did and ever will. Harry is super cool, I love how he's calm in most situations, even terrifying ones. He's just chill and fascinates me much more than other characters in the series ever did or ever will. He is always going to be my favorite character simply due to my fascination with his incredibly brave and calm personality.

    Harry deserves to be at the top. He is an independent person but he is cute and smart at the same time. I love how he has so many comebacks to say to really annoying people like Draco Malfoy who for some weird reason everybody seems to like. Go Harry!

    Severus Snape is a fictional character in J.K. Rowling's Harry Potter series. He is portrayed as a complex figure whose cold and sarcastic demeanor hides deep emotions and a troubled past. Snape plays a pivotal role in the series, ultimately being revealed as a tragic hero.

    Snape's at number 2? Seriously? He should be at number 1! Yes, I admit that he made quite a few mistakes. But, he literally became a Death-Eater for the Order! He is misunderstood so many times! Even by us Potterheads! His love story is really sad. He loved Lily so much but stayed as a one-sided lover. She chose James. So obviously it's normal for him to dislike James and Harry. Still, he saved Harry many times! I think he should be at number 1!

    Snape was critical to the story. Without him, it would have been trash. Without Harry, Ron and Hermione would be a duo who fought Voldemort. Obviously, the attitude of the story would shift a little, but it would still be good. But you take out THIS character, the complex character who has sacrificed so much for this boy he doesn't even LIKE, but whose mother he LOVED... I mean, I wouldn't read it.

    Ronald Bilius "Ron" Weasley is a fictional character in the Harry Potter series by J. K. Rowling. He first appears in "Harry Potter and the Philosopher's Stone" as the best friend of Harry Potter and Hermione Granger. Ron is a member of the Weasley family and a loyal supporter throughout the series.

    Ron is an awesome character he's one of my personal favorites he's a great character he's often used for comic relief but he is more than just the sidekick to Harry he is a loyal friend I know he was sometimes really jealous but that was because he felt he could not live up to his 6 older brothers or it would be because he loved Hermionie he would own up to his mistakes and has proven to be a heroic character

    Ron is displayed wrong in the movies. He literally sacrificed what he had for Harry: didn't hesitate to offer up room in the already cramped house, offered up his sandwich even though it was ALL HE HAD, and also was very concerned and supportive of Harry! Let's give it up for RONALD BILIUS WEASLEY!

    He should be the second best, after Harry, because he is Harry's mentor and he was the one who shaped the boy's life.

    People only consider him as a bullying, reckless kid. They don't mention that he managed to escape the clutches of the "Noble and Most Ancient House of Black". He had an abusive, stiff family, probably worse than the Dursleys, and he deserves credit for holding his head high through that. He probably influenced Regulus to go against the Voldemort. He lived off rats and spent thirteen years in Azkaban avenge James and Lily, and protect Harry. That shows his strength in itself.

    Sirius Black. I don't even know where to start. He was my number one favorite character, along with Dobby. I was just DEVASTATED when Sirius died, I cried for about 7 hours straight, no joke. He had no reason to die, such a brave, kind person. He was a great sort-of father to Harry, after all, Harry was the only family Sirius really had left. Apart from Bellatrix, etc. In my opinion, Sirius should be number one.

    DRACO DRACO. Draco is the best character. Some people think he is a bully. He isn't he offered friendship to Harry. Harry rejected it. HARRY STARTED IT! Draco saved Harry's life. And he didn't pull through in killing Dumbledore. He didn't want to be a death eater. And his parents forced him to do bad things s. He deserves no hate. He is amazing. Draco is so cool and savage. My favorite's are "weasl bee" and "wait till my father hears about this! " TEAM DRACO! 🐍 Also I am a Slytherin

    Malfoy's a jerk. But once you see him in Half Blood Prince and Deathly Hallows, you realise he's not a bully: he's a frightened boy who's just lost the person he actually cared for the most: his father.

    I was pissed at Hermione just cause she (or I did) lost her temper cause of a Defense Against The Dark Arts teacher was a super neat werewolf!( I will admit he was a little creepy in werewolf form in the movie) Gone And Gone I guess...

    He is so underrated. He is the greatest DADA professor. He taught Harry arguably the most important spell. he's a flippin werewolf. He has a great care for all his pupils. He helped Neville believe in himself. A valiant man who deserved a better ending and deserves far more praise.

    Neville is just incredible. His character is far less annoying than Harry and I think if he was the chosen one (which he could well have been) the story would have been very interesting. Not saying the story should be focused on Longbottom instead of Potter, not at all. But that in the end if Neville was the chosen one it could be like this huge plot twist. Neville was very kind and just needed someone to believe in him and push him.

    Neville's character evolved so much throughout the whole series. He went from being a forgetful and clumsy scaredy-cat to being one of the most loyal and badass guys in the entire story. He really grows into his own and even takes down Nagini. His parent's past is so tragic and the twist about him possibly being a contender as "chosen one" is very interesting. I wonder how events would have unfolded if he had been in Harry's shoes?

He very nice as he apologizes to Harry about the badges that that his friends where wearing that said "Potter Stinks". 3. As Harry saved him from the bushes in the 3rd task, he wanted Harry to win the tournament by saying "Go, take it! You saved me! " and 4th He's every girls dream boy!

    James Potter stood up for his friends, took in a werewolf, made fiends with a boy who came from a dark family and took in a boy who couldn't find anybody else. He sacrificed himself for his family. Snape started the rivalry by saying that James's dad was an idiot when he and Sirius were minding their own business. James saved Snape's life, then Snape decided too not care if James was killed by Voldemort. Hexes are a lot less harmful than curses (cough cough sectumsempra). If Snape wanted to be Lily's husband then he should have been a less racist person, even if he lost his temper. If you felt embarrassed, would you say a racist word? If you said yes, go die in a hole.

    It was so hard to make a decision between Hagrid, Snape, Sirius. Hagrid and Sirius are so nice to Harry but Snape is so brave. My favorites would have to be in order Sirius, Snape, then Hagrid but I had to pick Hagrid because he always so kind to Harry and even though he half giant he is gentle.

    Hagrid is the best character! If it wasn't for him Harry would still be stuck with his retarded relatives
