PetSounds vs gemcloben: Round One

PetSounds After I showed gemcloben my cover of David Bowie's "Life on Mars?", my fellow musician suggested a brilliant idea. We would each record a song from the same genre, then hold a friendly competition. The judges? Members of TheTopTens.

This is round one of three. The genre is psychedelic rock.

H e r e's gemcloben's contribution, an original guitar composition that blends psychedelic rock with metal.

And h e r e's mine, a cover of The Beatles' "Strawberry Fields Forever" on electric piano.

Both were awesome. But I Think gem's was more inclined towards metal than it was to psychedelic. Pet wins here.
