Best Live Metal Bands

Maiden, Rammstein, Metallica and Slipknot would be the best 4 I've seen, suppose the likes of Avenged and Linkin Oark were good for what they were but the atmosphere in the crowd for the 4 I mentioned is just insane.
Number of the beast played live in donington, (can be found on iTunes) is perhaps their best live song they've ever done. the original is not that good, I was never a fan of it. but this version is downright excellence.
Laugh out loud 24th place what and avenged is 1th laugh out loud what is wrong with this world kids go youtube an dlook up some concerts and you will see why maiden is the nr1 live band of all times!
You people either can't afford to see them or are too busy listening to nickelback and skillet to see a real show like iron maiden.

Rammstein, known for their amazing pyrotechnic and stage stunts like on-stage fights and Till putting the keyboardist in a huge boiling pit and cooking him with a flame thrower, like how are they not the best one on the list?
They should be #1 because Iron Maiden does not have a better show than Rammstein and I think no one ever came close to being as mesmerising as Rammstein live.
Rammstein and Iron Maiden should be higher then Avenged Sevenfold. Avenged Sevenfold is good but not as good as rammstein or iron maiden
Rammstein never disappoints. Their live performances are amazing and insane, nobody does fire the way they do!

They were awarded for best live metal band of 2012.. And I think they deserve it.. Corey's voice is so powerful live... And the performance of the guitarists and drummers are amazing... But also LOG is kick-ass live.. Randy blythe has got one of the most powerful voices ever..
You should vote slipknot as they don't let you sleep when they are in your country.
They should at least be number 3...
Seen them live 3 times and they get better and better Corey is a god

They get me. I know all of their songs, what else can you want from your crowd if it isn't that they vibe with all of your songs and know them all
Simply the best.
Unmatched performance
Technical prowess unbeatable
Full of energy and emotions.
VERY technical musicians. It is Worth some respect and appreciation.

With their first two albums, Kill 'Em All and Ride The Lightning reaching underground success, their third effort, Master of Puppets has since become one of the most important heavy metal albums ever, as it became the first thrash metal album to be certified platinum. The title track has since become the band's most played song live. ...read more.
Can't say too much because I haven't been to many metal shows (I'm a kid), but Metallica is amazing live. Every time I watch a live performance of theirs, I wanna see them live again. Hardwired has the best songs that you will ever hear live, and it's not just that. Creeping Death is an absolute ANTHEM live, and Sad but True injures your neck live.
Best band I have ever seen live so far! Metallica still have it!
Oh, hey Metallica! What are you still doing here?
Metallica in the 80s were amazing.

Most passionate live band I've ever seen. Best sound quality and balance of any band I've ever heard live. Pyro, effects, interaction with the crowd is absolutely priceless. I'm getting emotional just thinking about seeing them live!
Absolutely brilliant musicians, and such chemistry between the members, they really engage the crowd especially in Unholy confessions with the pits the song creates, each band member is extremely talented, even with there new drummer they still have the standard they had in the LBC performance with the rev I am really looking forward to seeing them live
Matt's voice sounds just like it does on the albums when they play live. Awesome band.
When a7x performs live you can see and feel the passion that all the members have.

Blind guardian live is:
A band that manages to render monster songs such as "and then there was silence" live, without losing any of the essence of the song.
Very high energy and intensity with their faster songs from their back catalogue.
Everyone in the venue singing along to every single chorus. Hansi could even take breaks from singing if he wanted. In fact, with songs such as "the last candle" or "vallhalla", he can actually take a 5 minute break as everyone hollers "vallhalla! Deliverance, why've you ever forgotten me" for 5 minutes, without tiring.
Top notch stage presence: like bards, they know how to tell a story and make people invested in those stories.
So yeah, awesome band, awesome music, awesome presence, and lots and LOTS of killer choruses.
They are really the best - their live versions are as good as their studio versions and in some cases, they even improved the original versions during live performances! Their stuff is not easy - it's complex and some songs are really fast (speed metal).
And the second aspect of their brilliance live is the communication with the crowd. Everybody sings at their shows!
youtube: Blind Guardian - Valhalla (Imaginations Through the Looking Glass)
The crowd is awesome, too, from 4:30-end.
Better than most of their studio stuff and hansi is still ripping it!
Top tier guys.

Most metal fans might just scroll past this, but bear with me. It's amazing how much production value there is in a Babymetal concert. Coming from a longtime metal fan, I don't think I've seen a more well-produced and well-organized performance. Each one of their concerts is an absolutely spectacular performance. The girls are such amazing performers and their backing band absolutely kills it. Don't inderes Babymetal. You'd be surprised at what you find.
These kids have more energy than 90% of bands that have ever existed. I saw them live in 2016 and they never stopped moving around with their energy for 80 minutes.
I love babymetal song.

Yeah, I don't know who made this list, but they must listen to (C)Rap if they don't list Pantera in the top 5.
The connection between these four guys on stage was absolutely perfect. Will never be duplicated m/
Best metal band live ever. Avenged Sevenfold and Rammstein seriously?
They are wild, you can't tell me they're not worth being on the top.

It's a shame that they broke up but this band was full of energy and stage presence.
Easily the most chaotic and in my mind, that's why they deserve that top spot.

Randy Blythe can pump up the crowds so much it is just insane. Lamb of God is the best band ever
Randy Blythe is definitely worth watching, he's amazing!
Just like the albums

How is Gojira in 21st place? Go check out their live videos from Pol'And'Rock Festival 2018, or any show really...perfect live show, it's INSANE!
They are the most talented band I've ever seen live besides maybe tool and rush. They are so perfect live, any Gojira show is a must

Of all the hm concerts I've seen priest were the best, two hours of pure metal and how Rob Harford keeps up those screaming vocals from beginning to end is beyond belief, true metal gods.
Did see maiden and priest together in Dortmund Germany.Dickinson was great but Halford was beyond belief

Watch them and judge by yourself, perfectly flawless!

Trivium released their debut album, Ember to Inferno, in 2003 under Lifeforce Records. A moderate success, Trivium would later sign to Roadrunner Records a year later and establish further critical and commercial success from there on. They have currently released 8 studio albums. ...read more.
They have so much energy when they play live. I've seen them live and it was one of the best experiences of my life.

Deftones put so much heart and soul into their live performances especially mixed with kinetic energy and Chino Moreno as their frontman.
Saw them live at Sonisphere, as much as I adore their music it was the most boring and rubbish live show I've ever seen.
Don't know how is Deftones this low, I saw them in Chile, and Chino's chemistry with the crowd is amazing and the sound quality is very good though
They are writing music for sex, I love it.

They released their debut album “Killing Is My Business...And Business Is Good!” in 1985, but became successful after the release of “Peace Sells...But Who’s Buying?” in 1986. ...read more.
One of the better sounding bands while playing live with Marty in the 90's. Amazing riffs and technique, this should have been in the top 15.
Best in history

Who wouldn't vote Korn? It's Korn, they're at their best live most of the time, and they're still fantastic in 2018! How much better can you come?
Come on guys, its Korn
Dude really? Its korn.
Best band ever!

Slayer live was an incredible experience. I urge everyone to see them if you get the chance
Best live band ever
Slayer don't stop...

I just missed out on a chance to see Gwar. Every concert they do, they "kill" some sort of politician or celebrity. These guys are hilarious

Loved them in concert both times I've went. Adam is absolutely hilarious on stage
Hilarious dudes, and they can get everybody singing with them

Tony has a great voice
Best metal band ever
