Top 10 Most Inspirational Songs of All Time

The Top Ten
1 Lose Yourself - Eminem

Really, this song is the best motivational song ever. When I face a little failure, I listen to this song on my Sony Walkman. And I try and try until I succeed in my will. It doesn't matter how many times you fall, but it matters how many times you stand up. Another song, "Radioactive" by Imagine Dragons, is just as motivational as this hit one. You must listen to that one. It hits hard every time.

This song's lyrics have so much meaning. Everything in this song makes sense and means something. It sends out a great message, and that's without mentioning how good the song actually is. It's my favorite song and has been for ages. Unlike a lot of rap songs these days, it is actually about something, and in this case, it's about never giving up.

You've only got one shot. Do not miss a chance to blow. This opportunity comes once in a lifetime. Such inspiring words. This song kept me going despite failures, especially while preparing for exams and much more. This legendary song increased my confidence, my ability to concentrate, and so much more. Certainly, this song deserves to be number 1.

2 Don't Stop Believin' - Journey

This song has stood the test of time, and for a reason. This song has a lot of meaning. It's not just for someone looking for love. It's also a song for someone who wants to become successful in their dreams and their goals. Whatever challenges you encounter along the way, just don't stop believing.

This is the song you want to hear after something great happens or something great is about to happen. This song is the most inspiring song ever. Although Lose Yourself is without a doubt my favorite song ever, this one beats it in every way when it comes to inspiration.

Best song by the best inspirational band! Journey is awesome, and this song is even better! Every time I listen to it, it's impossible not to sing along, and I get up and go do something. Don't stop believing that this will be number one!

3 You Raise Me Up - Josh Groban

When he sings, I feel a rush of strength in his interpretation. This song signifies hope and trust in God. He will raise you up. It reminds us all that we are loved and can lean on His strength. He will not let us down.

This is the most emotional song I've ever heard. The music is so gentle, so perfect. Josh Groban's deep voice flows so well with its tune. It's got a beautiful meaning. Mesmerizing.

"You raise me up so I can stand on mountains
You raise me up to walk on stormy seas
I am strong when I'm on your shoulders
You raise me up to more than I can be"

The best in the world - hey, people, you don't need to believe in God, but God believes in you. This song is really important to me. I hope it is the same for you.

4 It's My Life - Bon Jovi

This song always makes you feel so excited about the life ahead of you. To make it original. To make this life memorable when you look back at it!

A song about grabbing life by the damn horns and wrestling with it until it does what you bloody want it to. Deserves the spot.

This song always leaves a mark on your heart. Each and every word of it is inspirational. Bon Jovi rules!

5 Imagine - John Lennon

Imagine is the most inspirational, in my opinion. John is encouraging peace in this song. No countries, no hell, no heaven, and no religion too. It deserves to be higher than 6 because the five before this one, I've hardly heard in my life or never knew existed!

Imagine is an absolutely beautiful song, and I know it deserves to be at the top of this list. As always, John Lennon inspires so many people to be better and to help others. This song is definitely inspirational.

This song is truly beautiful! This song shares with the world that we don't have to fight with one another because it doesn't matter what we believe in, or what we look like. We are all the same!

6 Earth Song - Michael Jackson

So amazing. It makes you really think about the world, its problems, and how we can fix them. It's an eye-opener and brings you to tears. Incredibly influential. Beautiful song, inspirational meaning, written by the greatest artist the world has ever known.

I think the words are just amazing. Even when I sing it, it makes me feel that the world is not doing enough to stop all the bad in the world, and I feel guilty about everything we take for granted. You are a legend, MJ, whatever happens in the music industry. The way you touch me with your sweet words makes me feel special. Vote for this song! R.I.P King of Pop forever.

The first time I heard this song, I noticed nothing else around me. This song captures the listener in a way that no other song before or after can. Hearing this song was one of the greatest experiences of my life. Thank you, Michael.

7 I Believe I Can Fly - R. Kelly

I believe I can fly! I believe I can touch the sky! I can't remember the rest of the lyrics, but I heard it in a spoof once.

R. Kelly believed he could fly and also that he could urinate on underage women. Both worked out equally poorly.

Really, you think THIS is an inspirational song? You can't fly!

8 Welcome to the Black Parade - My Chemical Romance

My Chemical Romance saves lives. They encourage their listeners to be who they want to be, regardless of what anyone else thinks. Gerard, Frank, Mikey, and Ray are my role models and some of the best people I know. Though they are disbanded, their music still continues to give strength and hope to those who find solace nowhere else. These boys are heroes, and I am proud to be a Killjoy. My Chemical Romance lives on in the hearts of everyone they touched. My Chemical Romance forever.

No! Why is this song number 29? No offense to all you Journey fans, but Don't Stop Believin' is SO overrated! This song makes you feel ready to face the world. The last two minutes are so beautiful and uplifting that you will want to cry. My Chemical Romance is not an emo band about suicide. Its songs are actually meant to help you find your worth and fight your inner demons. This should be number 1.

I first heard this song in the car and it touched me so deeply that I had to pull over and let the power and emotion take me over. By the time it got to the crescendo of Gerard triumphantly belting "we'll carry on," I was in tears. These were not sad tears, though. These were tears of realizing that I could make it, I could survive, and no matter what obstacles were in my path, I would carry on. This song didn't save my life. It gave me the strength to save myself.

9 Hall of Fame - The Script

This is the most inspirational song for me.
You can beat the world,
You can beat the war,
You can talk to God, go banging on His door.
These lyrics and the reality hidden underneath these words help me endure all the criticism and give me a feeling that one day I can sit in a hall of fame. This song must be in the top 10 at least.

It's not just catchy. The lyrics can open up your whole life to a new level, which inspires you on how you can find your true, dedicated self. Makes you feel like you can be the greatest person who's ever lived. Wow, very inspiring song. This should be shown to the whole world.

"You can be the greatest, you can be the best." What's inspirational if this song isn't? What's more, my favorite inspirational quote comes from Hall of Fame: "You can walk straight through hell with a smile." It's also really catchy.

10 Man in the Mirror - Michael Jackson

This song is very inspirational. I heard this song when I was young. It was popular in Thailand. Although I couldn't understand it at the time, I still remembered to look it up when I got older and learned English.

This song calls for a change in the world - not just one country or one continent, but the whole world. Look up the official music video for this song. It shows many images of need in Africa and includes many clips of heroes who have stood up for the population.

Michael Jackson's songs are very inspirational. He's a legend!

All of our problems would be fixed if everyone did their part, instead of hoping the next guy deals with it. Whether it be something small like picking up our trash, or something bigger, that's the message being passed on by the song. It's a great message.

One of the greatest songs ever! Love you, Michael. The world needs to hear this! This should be number one for sure. It gives me goosebumps without fail, every time. Check that man or woman in the mirror and make that change.

The Contenders
11 The World's Greatest - R Kelly

This song puts me in a good mood and pumps me up for just about anything!

Anytime I listen to this song, it gives me hope to do more. It's an amazing song.

This song wakes me up every day.

12 Beautiful - Christina Aguilera

I can't imagine anyone else singing this. The way she sings it gives me chills every time, guaranteed. My eyes get watery every time I hear it. Society tells us this, but it also tells us to get surgery and work done, because no one will like or love us if we look natural.

It's a timeless song. It pretty much says that everyone is beautiful in their own way, no matter what people say. I know this sounds clichéd, but if you listen to this song, you'll understand why it's still numero uno after all these years.

Christina is such an amazing diva, and I can't understand why this song is in 83rd place. It's one of the most inspirational songs. Linda Perry wrote this song for Tina. It's a great song on Earth.

13 Eye of the Tiger - Survivor

What the hell! The greatest song of all time is at number 12. You people don't know what the song is about, so if you want to know, just watch one of the greatest movies of all time: ROCKY 3. And also watch all parts from 1-6 and Creed as well. Then you will understand that this song is a masterpiece and deserves the number 1 place on this list and also in the top 10 most inspirational songs of all time.

The fact that this song isn't number 1 just irritates me. When I was going to look at the top ten best inspirational songs list, I expected this song to be number 1. I don't know why it's 13, but opinions are opinions.

Have you ever watched Rocky? If you haven't, then you have no idea how INSPIRATIONAL this song is. People, please watch the movie Rocky Balboa, then rate this song.

14 Dream On - Aerosmith

This song is easily one of the most motivational songs ever! It deserves to be much higher on this list.

The perfect power ballad: very inspirational. Amazing song.

This is so inspirational. I love this list, and I love Aerosmith. I wish I could see them in concert.

15 Try - Pink

I know that many people may not agree, but music can save lives. As a "sufferer" of MDD, there have been too many nights when I've almost done things that are very regrettable. On many of those nights, I began to play music to calm myself, and Pink would come on, her passionate voice ringing out. So yes, music has saved my life.

Love this song. It's so inspirational and amazing.

This song makes me feel like I can do anything! You just gotta try.

16 Not Afraid - Eminem

Awesome song about life and how to deal with it. It's about never losing faith in yourself and keeping on moving forward, never giving up.

It tells you not to care about what others think about you. There's also an awesome rap.

17 Born This Way - Lady Gaga

Best song that fights prejudice and ignorance! Truly inspirational.

This should really be in the top 5. This list is so stupid!

I love this song. It should be at number 1.

18 Firework - Katy Perry

This song has gotten me through EVERYTHING. It reminded me to always look ahead and that I'll always be a firework. It also taught me that suicide isn't the right choice.

Right now, all I want to do is write a novel. This song makes me believe that dream is REAL - that there is a spark in all of us, and we just have to find a way to ignite it!

This is one of Katy Perry's inspirational songs.

19 In the End - Linkin Park

This song should definitely be in the top 10. The lyrical content, combined with incredible rap and rock, makes this song a winner! If any of you have never heard this song, hurry over to YouTube or any other music source and hear it as soon as possible!

I LOVE THIS SONG! It teaches an important lesson: we're all going to die eventually. This is one of the most important lessons a person can learn. But it also tells us to do what we can while we're alive. To try our hardest, make our mark, and show everyone that we are here!

What!? I can't believe this song isn't in the Top Ten List! It definitely deserves to be in the top 5 at least! This is a masterpiece! You get a rush of energy and sadness as well when you listen to this!

20 Livin' on a Prayer - Bon Jovi

Why? What is wrong with you people? This is one of the best songs ever! No matter how overplayed it is, I will always love it! It's so upbeat and inspirational - cliché, right? But it's true. It makes you think that everyone is on your side, even those brats you don't like. This song is like the glue to humanity and definitely should be way up on this list! Please vote.

What makes this song so amazing is the amount of soul and spirit they put into it. It makes me feel as if everyone in the world is with you in your struggles and makes you believe. It is simply AWESOME.

Seeing this song so far down on the list, even below the whiny bull called "Ghosts'n'stuff" (sounds inspirational, huh? "Ghosts'n'stuff"? Yep, I now feel like I could conquer the world), makes me sick. This tune is one of the true masterpieces in music.

21 Hero - Mariah Carey

I love Mariah. When I first started listening to her, I found most of her songs inspirational and heartfelt. She is one amazing songwriter and singer, and we are truly blessed to have someone like Mariah to keep the faith and help us through her songs. Amen!

Her vocal talent is undeniably significant, and the lyrics have saved lives. So many people wouldn't have lived without this song. It cannot be overlooked.

It's Mariah and it's Hero. You don't even have to know or like either to know the lyrics of this song.

22 Skyscraper - Demi Lovato

This is the most beautiful song from Demi Lovato. In case you didn't know, she suffers from bipolar disorder, and she first attempted suicide at 11 years of age. The lyrics of this song are incredibly touching. They make me feel sad but also empower me tremendously. I love the line, "All my windows still are broken, but I'm standing on my feet and I am closer to the clouds up here." It's one of the most beautiful songs ever.

I went to one of Demi's shows on the Neon Lights Tour, and she said the most heart-melting, inspirational thing. Even thinking about it makes me tear up. She said, "I've had people come up to me on the street and tell me that I saved their lives. But as amazing as that sounds, and as amazing as that feels, my response is that 'you saved your own life.'"

This song literally saved me. It has such an inspirational message. I'm so proud of how far she's come. She's such an inspiration.

23 All You Need is Love - The Beatles

Best band ever, one of their best songs.

24 Stronger (What Doesn't Kill You) - Kelly Clarkson

When I have had a terrible day, this song reminds me of the most important things in life. It lets the world know you can't be knocked down. "Sticks and stones may break my bones, but names will never hurt me."

This is like one of those songs that you hear and just know you have to stand up and fight back, and not give up. I literally stood up for myself after listening to it. It should be in the top 10.

This song is so amazing, and it is so catchy that I get it stuck in my head just by thinking about it. I can't help but "stand a little taller" when I hear the chorus.

25 Teenagers - My Chemical Romance

The song has a catchy rune but very good lyrics. It is inspirational and people needto listen to more by the artist

I don't get it, why?
