Five Nights at Freddy's
Now, first, I can understand why people like the first game. There are times when the suspense and unpredictability mixed with a sudden jump-scare can be scary. The idea of killer animatronics is original and is done decently. But now, it just feels like most sequels are just cash-grab rehashes of the original. The animatronics are always the same, just with slight design alterations. Same goes for the concept. Oh, and there is always one small alteration in mechanics, so people will immediately attack you if you even DARE to say that the games are repetitive. But by God, the worst aspect of FNAF is the fandom. It seems that everything even slightly horror-related will immediately have a horde of rabid fangirls attacking it and raping it with atrocious fan art that erases ANY scare factor whatsoever. It's not the worst game, by far, but PLEASE. THERE IS BETTER STUFF OUT THERE. THERE ARE BETTER MODERN HORROR GAMES OUT THERE. STOP BEATING A LONG-DEAD HORSE.
While I do like this game, I will say I'm starting to get sick of it. I like these games mainly for the lore, but I can not tell you how sick I am getting on to something like Town Of Salem or Minecraft and seeing something like "Springtrap Has Joined the game" "Bonnie_The_BunBun has joined the game" "HawtChica has Joined the game" ITS GETTING REALLY OLD. I'm fine with there being sequels and what not, its just the fandom I'm getting tired of. I think the people who absolutely love this game are getting annoying. As good as they are, I'm getting sick of the songs, I'm getting sick of all the shipping fan art and all of that, and I'm getting sick of all the crappy shipping and song animations. Again, I am fine with there being sequels, its just the fandom that drives me nuts. AND don't EVEN GET ME STARTED ON ALL THE CRAPPY OC'S! All of them re not crappy but 80% are sexualized and are shipped with Foxy or something. After pouring bleach in my eyes, if I ...more
This piece of repetitive plot hole filled trash deserves to burn in the fiery pits of a hot lava volcano. And you know what makes the whole thing worse, the fan base. Seriously, you can't go anywhere on the Internet without there being five year olds using fake accounts of the characters. Also, while I'm at it, why are there these sick people who seem to be sexual attracted to the robot mascots that they feel the need to draw weird fan art of them. Yes, that sort of weird...
Five Nights at Freddy's. Five Nights at Freddy's. All I hear about is Five Nights at Freddy's! Yes the first game may be entertaining, but once that sequel came out...oh geez. And don't even get me started on the fandom. People use Five Nights at Freddy's. All you gotta do, is make something that has NOTHING to do with Five Nights at Freddy's, randomly copy and paste animatronics into the video, and boom. A ton of subscribers. And the ships, oh lord the ships. If they didn't exist, the world would be a much better place. Don't people know that it's kinda strange to ship ROBOTS? Guess not. Anyways, Five Nights at Freddy's is too popular, and quite frankly too rushed. Four games in one year? Now that my friend, is something called no effort. Five Nights at Freddy's is taking over our world. I won't be surprised if there is merchandise, a T.V. show, a movie, a book, an anime, and so on.
This game is everywhere you go. Just look at the gaming section of YouTube, you'll see it everywhere. Many famous YouTubers make videos on it, post animations just of it, and even in some cases, merge it with completely different games just to get showered in all that money. Due to the fan base, it is impossible to take this game seriously.
This game may not be scary for you, but I am scared of dolls, toys, etc coming to life. This game is actually terrifying. It's like Chuckie Cheese coming to life and killing you (Chuckie Cheese scares me to this day. ) It's flipping terrifying. The only thing that makes it a tad less scary is it's fan base, but hey, everyone has there own opinions!
I blame YouTube for overreacting to jump scares, and screaming to the high heavens. Heck, I'm twelve, and the most I ever reacted to a jump scare from this game was a small squeak. Which goes to show something... And now we have this horrid fandom who... *sigh* ships ROBOTS together. Ya know! Robots that are made out of metal and fluff... Period.

A massively reproduced, overly manufactured set of games with 4 games, a film and a book being made. It is a boring game with a dull point and click concept which makes you fall asleep. Brought to fame by Pewdiepie and the likes with their massive YouTube fanbase consisting of 5 year olds
Fanbase is scarier than the fat bear
This has to be the most repetitive, stale, and overrated game of all time. The supposedly "unique gameplay" that everyone boasts about is actually really boring once you get into the game. You know how in games like Mario and Sonic each level is a different environment and has a unique layout? Yeah you won't see any of that in this game. EVERY NIGHT IS THE SAME DAMN THING WITH A HIGHER DIFFICULTY. There is nothing to salvage from this game. Hell, it's not even that scary. It might have been at first, but now the internet got a hold of it and every single post on deviant art is either "soopur kyoot fokse x chika! " or some comic about the security guard. Just leave this thing to die, if it even CAN die. And don't even get me started on the sequels!
So, the other day, I went to my friend's house. We are huge video game fans, but I hate horror games and he likes them. So, as I've done before, I say, "Let's go play Mario Kart! " or, "Let's go play Minecraft! " or, "Let's go play Undertale! " Etc. But, instead, he says, "No, let's play FNaF! It'll be fun! " And guess what? It wasn't fun. At all. It was terrifying at first, but things got very old very quickly. I was bored and tired of it. And so, when I went home, I looked on YouTube to watch some gaming videos. And, what do you know, ALL of my favorite gaming channels were overrun by this game! I texted to my friends that this game was extremely overrated, and they got very mad very fast. There were so, so, so many people who posted things on YouTube saying how amazing, scary and deep this game was. So, I slammed my laptop shut.
It's a boring and overrated game that 8 year olds obsess over and over again. Scott is forced to make a game almost every 2 months. Each game is the same boring formula. The Fanbase is so horrible with awful fan arts, shipping, and videos. Just end this game!
I really like this game but it is kinda overrated. - GoldenRocket
The story behind the game is interesting and a bit frightening but the fanbase gives to much praise to the "Most Scariest Game Ever..."
It's a game where you try not to get stuffed inside a teddy bear by evil robots. SO SCARY! WE CAN'T SHUT THE HELL UP ABOUT IT! And by the way foxy is a guy! It's amazing how many people will think that and draw creepy fan art of HIM
This game makes "Call of Duty" look like "The Legend of Zelda: A Link to the Past" in comparison.
The games are pretty cool and all, but the fanbase ruined it for me.
Some of the haters say this is one of the worst games of all time (like as in Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde bad) while I agree that the overall gameplay is repetitive and overrated, it's still far better than other games.
Not even scary, no plot, everything is explained in mini games which is okay but what's the point of playing the main game if that's not even where all the story, that they included, is at.
This game is just about to fall into the underrated garbage pit. Back when it came out, everybody at my school was playing it and talking about it! Even my sister loved it! Ugh, for god's sake, it was EVERYWHERE on YouTube! People kept on making fanarts and fanfiction about it and that trend just couldn't stop! This game has had three sequels, a movie, merchandise, and a spinoff! To me, that's quite a lot of FNaF crap. But this was back in 2014/2015. Very few people nowadays aren't out about it anymore, thank Jesus. I just couldn't get away with this crap! If this franchise ever makes a comeback, the crappy fanbase (which is way smaller than it used to be) will strike again.
It is the worst thing I have ever heard of its for all of those idiot kids with nothing better to do with their lives than just getting "jump scared"
They say this is the next step in horror gaming
You sit on your ass doing absolutely nothing
Five Nights at Freddy's...Its crap. From the Google+ accounts to the theories, its everywhere. It's the most overrated and annoying games to ever been released.
I find the lore of this game interesting, but other than that it's boring. ,
