1. Titanic

   

   Easily the greatest movie based on a true story ever. Now, the love story didn't actually exist, but you know what I mean. The first half of the movie was okay to watch. The second half was unwatchable. But altogether, this makes up for one of the greatest movies ever made. It's heartbreaking, and I love myself a good tear-jerker. Titanic is beautiful, sorrowful, upsetting, scary, inappropriate, and interesting. Undoubtedly, this movie is the best movie of 1997.

   Obviously, this is number one. Between the outstanding special effects, fantastic acting, and amazing storyline, it's one of the greatest films of all time. Plus, Leonardo DiCaprio...

2. The Lost World : Jurassic Park

   

   This should be number one on this list, in my opinion. It's an incredibly underrated sequel that deserves more love and attention. And no, it's not boring like everyone says. It's a fun flick.

   Although it's not without its faults, it's not the worst in the franchise, as a lot of people claim. In my opinion, this is better than the third and fourth movies, which I think are okay. All in all, give this movie a watch. It has plenty of dinosaurs, in fact, more than in the first and third films, and good effects.

   The most underrated movie of all time! Definitely better than the third installment and even surpasses the Titanic movie! One of the greatest movies of the 90s!

   The best-made film, the most technically impressive film, and way better than Titanic. Even Stanley Kubrick liked it.

   A great movie about a genius who realizes what is really important in life.

8. Liar Liar

   

   This is the best Jim Carrey movie ever, besides The Mask and Dumb and Dumber.

9. Austin Powers: International Man of Mystery

   

   Funniest action movie series ever! It should be at least number three on the list. The most badass super villain and the most badass agent too. Not to mention, a small clone.

10. Jackie Brown

    

    An enjoyable character drama. Tarantino's underrated masterpiece.

    L.A. Confidential wished it could be as entertaining as The Full Monty. The latter is a sweet-natured satire about a group of unemployed Brits attempting to strike it rich by performing a strip show to rival the Chippendales.

    A British comedy satire about a group of unemployed men who decide that doing a strip show is the only way to earn big.

    The final dance and the Hot Stuff post office scene were showstoppers.
