  1. Norman - ParaNorman

Norman is constantly ridiculed by almost everyone because of his ability to talk to ghosts. Even his own family is resentful toward him, especially his father.

  2. Whitey Duvall - Adam Sandler's Eight Crazy Nights

While Whitey is by far one of the worst characters in the movie because of his really annoying voice, deep down he's a well-meaning guy who goes out of his way to help the people in town.

Despite this, he's treated like dirt by everyone. They take advantage of his kindness and repay him with nothing but selfishness and disdain, including Davey, who treats him even worse.

  3. Balto - Balto

Balto is hated and shunned by both humans and dogs alike in his hometown of Nome, Alaska due to being a wolfdog. He's constantly bullied by the town's favorite sled dog, Steele, and his crew.

In one scene, after Balto wins the race to determine who will be on the sled team to deliver the medicine, he's rejected from the team after Steele steps on his paw, causing him to growl in pain.

  4. Mumble - Happy Feet

Unlike the other penguins, Mumble is born without the ability to sing, which is needed to attract a mate. However, he does have the ability to tap dance, which is strongly frowned upon among the other Emperor Penguins.

As a result, he's ridiculed and treated like an outcast.

  5. Shrek - Shrek

Shrek is a fictional ogre and the main character of the Shrek franchise. He debuted in the 2001 animated film Shrek, which is based on the 1990 fairy tale picture book by William Steig. Shrek is voiced by Mike Myers and is known for his gruff exterior and kind heart.... read more

In the movie, Shrek is hated and disliked by many people simply for being an ogre. That's why he chooses to isolate himself from the outside world, as he explains to Donkey that people always judge him before they even know him.

In one scene, Lord Farquaad says after Shrek interrupts the wedding, "It's rude enough being alive when nobody wants you."

  6. Oh - Home

He's pretty much hated by all the other Boov because he's more of a free spirit, and they constantly try to avoid him whenever they get the chance.

  7. Sid - Ice Age

While Sid can be annoying at times, you kind of have to feel bad for the guy. He's pretty much hated by almost everyone, even his own family, who in the first movie straight up abandon him on purpose.

Later, after Sid reunites with them, they leave him again and even leave his grandmother with him.

  8. Gene - The Emoji Movie

  9. Tulip - Storks

As the only human working among the storks at the Cornerstore factory, Tulip has good intentions and tries to promote new ideas, although they often lead to disastrous results.

She's constantly seen as a liability, which is why the CEO of the company orders Junior to fire her, but he's unable to do so.

  10. Hiccup - How to Train Your Dragon

During the first part of the movie, Hiccup isn't well liked by the people of Berk, mostly because they see him as more of a nuisance and too weak and scrawny to fight dragons.

However, over the course of the movie, he's accepted more by them.
