Top Ten Best Things About Spider-Man: Homecoming

Spider-Man: Homecoming is Marvel's latest film and they did a great job with it!
The Top Ten
1 Tom Holland as Spider-Man Spider-Man is a fictional superhero appearing in American comic books published by Marvel Comics existing in its shared universe. The character was created by writer-editor Stan Lee and writer-artist Steve Ditko, and first appeared in the anthology comic book Amazing Fantasy #15 (August 1962) in the Silver Age of Comic Books. In films, Spider-Man has been portrayed by actors Tobey Maguire (2002–2007), Andrew Garfield (2012–2014) and Tom Holland (2016–present), who has portrayed the character in the Marvel Cinematic Universe since 2016.

Yes, I loved him in Civil War. He was already my favorite Spiderman after that performance. Probably the best Spiderman, in my opinion.

He portrays the character perfectly. In my review, I mentioned that Toby Macguire was a great Peter Parker, but a weak Spidey, and that Andrew Garfield was a horrid Peter Parker, but decent Spidey.

He's pretty good but I prefer Tobey Maguire. He's less cheesy and more emotional.

Best spider-man ever on the glass-screen.

2 Vulture

Phase 1 had only 2 good villains, Iron Monger & Loki. in Phase 2, The Winter Soldier gave us a ton of great villains including the Winter Soldier, Alexander Pierce, Batroc, and Crossbones, but that's about it. We were trapped with laughable & crappy villains like Ronan, Ultron, and yellow Jacket. But in Phase 3, the villains have gotten better excluding Kaecilius & Ayesha, villains like The Vulture, Baron Zemo, and Ego the Living Planet proved that the MCU knows how to make better villains.

Michael Keaton's portrayal of Vulture is amazing. Generally, the villains in this franchise of movies are absolutely forgettable and generic, but this villain's motives are relatable and you can understand why he does what he does in the film.

He was a great villain. He's a criminal who does illegal business with weapons to help his family with money. Although honestly I don't understand why he has to be so hostile because of it to everyone else...

Vulture is the best spider-an villain in movies.

3 The After Credit Scenes

These are some of the greatest after credit scenes I have ever watched. They got me really hyped for future content and I highly recommend staying after each set of credits (there are two sets) to see them both.

4 Action

Duh. The action is always great in Marvel movies.

Well yeah the action was pretty good and felt more meaningful than in many other MCU movies.

It's fine. Ned should have punched shocker.

5 It's Actually a Good Movie

A "good thing" about the Chromebook is that it's "actually a good computer". Jokes aside, this item is painfully obvious

For a while, we've gotten terrible Spidey films such as Spider-Man 3 and the two Amazing Spider-Man films.

6 It Was Even Better Than Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2

Spider-Man: Homecoming honestly had less problems than Guardians 2. The story here was much more simple and less complicated, which makes it better. The characters and actors were way better also and I even preferred the humor in this one. Even if Guardians excels at some things, Spidey's Movie excels at more.

7 Ned Leeds

He's pretty funny but what is Miles Morales friend doing in Peter Parker's life? Would've much rather have Harry.

He's an oddly great character, even if I've never heard of him before.

He was hilarious!

8 Robert Downey Jr. as Iron Man Iron Man is a fictional superhero appearing in American comic books published by Marvel Comics, as well as its associated media. The character was created by writer and editor Stan Lee, developed by scripter Larry Lieber, and designed by artists Don Heck and Jack Kirby. He made his first appearance in Tales of Suspense #39. In The Marvel Cinematic Universe, he is portrayed by Robert Downey Jr.

He's always awesome as Iron Man, but I loved him here especially.

He's the best thing from the whole movie.

9 No Origin Story

Thank god! We don't need to see the origin story of Peter Parker for the 12,000,000 time in a movie! We already know what happens, so I'm glad they decided to actually make this movie something different.

That's probably what I liked most. The story didn't waste at least 20 minutes giving us the same story again.

I agree, everyone knows how he got to be Spider-Man. Let's just move on from it and get to the action!

Both good and bad. Good because most of us have already seen the Raimi movies and TASM movies so we know how it goes, but also bad because it makes it slightly harder to relate to Peter

10 "I'm Watching Porn."

The line was actually "I'm looking at porn.".

And 8 year olds love this dialogue.

How did he get away with that?

That line was hilarious

The Contenders
11 The Cast

Besides Zendaya and Gwyneth Paltrow, the whole cast is great and doesn't waste the cast like Baywatch, Rough Night, The Mummy and Going in style did. I enjoyed Homecoming and can't wait for more Spidey.

Not only is the main cast awesome, but the supporting cast is also stellar.

12 Zendaya Zendaya Maree Stoermer Coleman is an American actress, singer and producer. She began her career as a child model and backup dancer, before gaining prominence for her role as Rocky Blue on the Disney Channel sitcom Shake It Up. Her film roles include supporting parts in the musical drama The Greatest Showman (2017) and the superhero film Spider-Man: Homecoming (2017) and its sequel, Spider-Man: Far from Home (2019).

She was okay. To me she wasn't needed, I felt she was just... there. But don't bash on me because I don't think she was bad

I think she's funny. But confusing at the same time. Is she just Michelle or Mary Jane? Just because her friends called her MJ.

13 It Gives Sony a Better Reputation

They've been making crappy movies like The Texting Movie, The Not Amazing Spider-Man movies and the very cliche Unfunny Night. Until this and Baby Driver came.

14 Marisa Tomei
15 Pepper Potts Was in It
16 Jon Favreau

He was awesome!

17 Captain America Captain Steven Grant Rogers, most known as Steve Rogers or Captain America, is a fictional superhero appearing in the American comic books published by Marvel Comics. He was a World War II veteran and is known as the world's first superhero. The character was created by Jack Kirby and Joe Simon and was portrayed by Chris Evans in the Marvel Cinematic Universe.

I need to go to the gym.

18 It Was Even Better Than Avengers: Age of Ultron
19 The Ending
