Top 10 Best Things About Spider-Man: Homecoming
Spider-Man: Homecoming is Marvel's latest film and they did a great job with it!He portrays the character perfectly. In my review, I mentioned that Tobey Maguire was a great Peter Parker but a weak Spidey, and that Andrew Garfield was a horrid Peter Parker but a decent Spidey.
Yes, I loved him in Civil War. He was already my favorite Spider-Man after that performance. Probably the best Spider-Man, in my opinion.
Best Spider-Man ever on the big screen.
Phase 1 had only two good villains: Iron Monger and Loki. In Phase 2, The Winter Soldier gave us a ton of great villains, including the Winter Soldier, Alexander Pierce, Batroc, and Crossbones, but that's about it. We were stuck with laughable and crappy villains like Ronan, Ultron, and Yellow Jacket.
In Phase 3, the villains have gotten better, excluding Kaecilius and Ayesha. Villains like The Vulture, Baron Zemo, and Ego the Living Planet prove that the MCU knows how to make better villains.
Michael Keaton's portrayal of Vulture is amazing. Generally, the villains in this franchise are absolutely forgettable and generic, but this villain's motives are relatable. You can understand why he does what he does in the film.
These are some of the greatest after-credit scenes I have ever watched. They got me really hyped for future content, and I highly recommend staying after each set of credits (there are two sets) to see them both.
Duh. The action is always great in Marvel movies.
Well, yeah, the action was pretty good and felt more meaningful than in many other MCU movies.
For a while, we've gotten terrible Spidey films, such as Spider-Man 3 and the two Amazing Spider-Man films.
Spider-Man: Homecoming honestly had fewer problems than Guardians 2. The story here was much simpler and less complicated, which makes it better.
The characters and actors were way better also, and I even preferred the humor in this one. Even if Guardians excels at some things, Spidey's movie excels at more.
He's an oddly great character, even if I've never heard of him before.
He's always awesome as Iron Man, but I loved him here especially.
He's the best thing from the whole movie.
Thank God! We don't need to see the origin story of Peter Parker for the 12,000,000th time in a movie! We already know what happens, so I'm glad they decided to make this movie something different.
Both good and bad. Good because most of us have already seen the Raimi movies and TASM movies, so we know how it goes. Bad because it makes it slightly harder to relate to Peter.
That's probably what I liked most. The story didn't waste at least 20 minutes giving us the same story again.
This was so funny, but he had to find a way to hide the fact that he was helping Spider-Man.
Besides Zendaya and Gwyneth Paltrow, the whole cast is great and doesn't waste the cast like Baywatch, Rough Night, The Mummy, and Going in Style did. I enjoyed Homecoming and can't wait for more Spidey.
Not only is the main cast awesome, but the supporting cast is also stellar.
They've been making crappy movies like The Texting Movie, The Not Amazing Spider-Man movies, and the very cliché Unfunny Night. Until this and Baby Driver came.
Wow, it's nice to see a rap/soul artist in a superhero movie.
