Things You Shouldn't Do After Watching a Scary Movie

True. One time, I was watching and talking to my friends about a creepypasta. When I went home, it was nearly bedtime. Aw crap. I couldn't sleep because I knew I would have nightmares. But on the other hand, I was also very scared since my only source of light at bedtime is this dim pink nightlight. Sometimes, I'm even afraid to go to the bathroom! (I know this is number 2, but number 1 is more true about my life). The night goes on, but thinking about the creepypasta just makes me horrified.
I haven't actually watched horror movies, but I do watch scary videos. Last night, around 11:00, I watched a scary video. After going to bed, I went to sleep only to wake up around 3:00 in the morning for seemingly no reason and had horrible images of the black eyes from the video stuck in my head. It was another 40 minutes before I fell asleep, only to wake up AGAIN! If that's enough to give me sleep maintenance insomnia, just imagine if I actually watched a horror movie!
I always look behind the shower curtain, then I turn on the hallway lights. I leave the door open, pee, and flush really quietly. Then, I wash my hands quietly, dry them, turn off the bathroom light, and lean on the wall while turning off the hallway lights. After that, I run the rest of the way to my room, slam the door shut, and look in my closet. But I still feel like the killer is gonna get me, laugh out loud. Just remember, a killer can't just enter your house out of the blue. If no one was in your house before you watched the movie, no one will be in there after.
Okay, if there's a knocking at the door, look at the windows. If someone is holding something, don't ever, ever open it!
Okay, this applies to any situation, to be honest.
Going outside is just ridiculous. All the creeps can get you if there's not at least a fence!
Going outside would be scary, especially if you go right to the end of the garden.
I've heard my fair share of creepy noises, but I never move towards them. I just stay put. 83% of the time, that's when the third most important side character gets killed off.
No, please no. Don't do that, or you'll die. If it's my bedroom, I'll sleep on my couch. If it's in the bathroom, I'll pee my pants. If it's the living room, I won't go there.
No... because as I'm walking to the noise, I'll start "hearing things." (Unless you're one of my really good friends on TheTopTens, what I just said would confuse you.)
Whether it is after a scary movie or not, my closet is so dark. I have this secret room in my closet, and I feel like an evil wizard is gonna jump out and kill me.
Yeah. I agree. What if something jumps out? As you guys all might know, closets can be pretty dark inside.
What if something's in the closet?
Okay, whether it is after a scary movie or not, whenever I have to close my eyes while washing my face, I get scared that something is gonna pop up.
I was almost finished watching Spider-Man (which I know isn't scary). My sister and I decided to go take a shower, then finish the movie. I was scared that the Lizard would pop up. The bad thing is, my parents had gone to IGA, and even worse, it was nighttime. I hated that shower.
The movie Halloween was the first scary movie I saw. I only went to see it because my friend was with me, and I thought everyone was just exaggerating the effects. I usually walk outside, doing laps around the driveway at night. A week later, and I'm still debating whether to go out there and walk.
Who would do this! Whenever I watch a scary movie and go to bed, for some reason, I always start thinking about the movie! When this happens, I get the feeling that a ghost is in my room.
I just saw a video of people playing Slender Man. I thought, "This isn't so scary." I went to bed like I usually do. Then I remembered Slender Man. I couldn't sleep and was overreactive about everything.
Now I've overcome my horror fears. I'm kinda immune to horror now.
But seriously, this is the main thing I would NOT do when I still hadn't practiced overcoming jump scares.

Why would anyone in their right mind do this? Anything else I can easily do after a horror flick. But this... I would crap myself!
I did this one time, and I thought I saw Bloody Mary, crapped myself, and did NOT go to sleep that night.
I just did this an hour ago. Now that I'm reading this, I've got the creeps.
The Newcomers
Dude below me, I look under my bed too. Turned out I actually saw my pet crab. Cool that you have a cat as a buddy. Did not know she could fit under a bed.
It was an unforgettable experience. I was watching The Grudge 3 at night with the lights off in my room. Suddenly, my TV remote control dropped off my bed. At first, I didn't dare to pick it up. Then, during a movie break, I got the chance to pick it up. When I looked under my bed, my face turned red. Two bright eyes were watching me. I ran toward the hall and yelled, Ghost! Ghost! and turned on the lights. My mother and elder brother woke up. I told them there was someone under my bed! When they checked, it was just a cat.
You might sleep well, but it's just scary.
Hey, I just watched The Shining! Now I'm gonna watch The Exorcist, The Grudge, Friday the 13th, and Nightmare on Elm Street!
True! Also, IF you would watch another one, don't watch another one. Or another one. Or even another one. And another one...
I do agree. But if you watch many at one time, their shock value will go down.
I did once after watching the stupidest scary movie and saw a face staring back at me.
Play Doors on Roblox, and you'll see why this could scare you to death.
There's a place in my basement where there are pipes on the ceiling, and every time I go down there, I constantly imagine a dead body hanging from the pipes. Very creepy.
Never ever pick up a phone when you don't recognize the number. Never open it.
Mystic Timbers at Kings Island in a nutshell.
Where that creepy chainsaw killer is?
NO.
Even the attic is one thing. But the shed?
Bloody Mary is a monster, and if you say Bloody Mary three times in the dark while looking in the mirror, you will summon Bloody Mary, which will kill you!
Who in their right mind would do that?! I'm sure I won't do it...
I saw a movie where a family was playing hide and seek. The mom counted and then started searching. When she looked behind the bookshelf, a doll came and captured her. So scary...
