I don't want to see an American/European/Canadian artist perform at the 2020 olympics. I want to have a Japanese artist perform at the olympics IN JAPAN! When in Rome, do as the Romans. When in Japan, do as the Japanese.
I'm a fan of Taylor Swift, and I love her very much!
If it's the Tokyo Olympics then an American would likely not perform. Logic. - naFrovivuS
No way she would do this to me

2 Hatsune Miku
Hatsune Miku, sometimes referred to as Miku Hatsune, is a humanoid persona voiced by a singing synthesizer application developed by Crypton Future Media.
This is insulting to Japan. You don't want her to perform at the ceremonies? You guys have no point at all! - Neonco31
Sorry but to be honest, Miku isn't that popular in Japan. We see her character around but not many people know who she actually is unless they love Vocaloid or have interests in Anime (which of course, is not a bad thing or anything) But, for the typical teenager we would rather see popular acts who have talent... Hatsune Miku is lovely but we want to show singers who are real, who have dreams to inspire us! We want the world to see popular Japanese music all around Japan.
Miku performs enough, let Rin and Len perform instead! They have just as amazing voices and just as amazing songs, if not, better!
I like her very much

They would give people the wrong impression of Jpop. AKB48 are incredibly sugary, even when compared to other idol groups and sometimes their vocals are squeaky and on the verge of screaming. Their dances are cringe worthy and their target audience would give them a bad reputation and make Jpop labelled as an 'old man/ naive teenage boys' fantasy.
