Top 10 Best Albums of 2021
2021 was a year of incredible music that showcased the breadth of talent and creativity across genres. From pop anthems and introspective indie gems to groundbreaking hip-hop and soul-stirring R&B, artists gave us albums that not only entertained but also spoke to the times we're living in.
Some made us dance, some made us cry, and others gave us the space to think deeply about the world and our place in it.

I Lie Here Buried with My Rings and My Dresses - Backxwash
This album is one of the very rare instances where trap and metal actually blend together successfully.
-

-
Pokémon 25: The Album - Various Artists
-
Promises - Floating Points, Pharoah Sanders & the Lso
-
30 - Adele
This is probably Adele's most vulnerable, most touching, and most ambitious album to date. Her vocal delivery is outstanding yet again, and her lyrics feel so relatable. Could this be her best album yet? Welcome back, Adele!
Get this higher than Sour. I was infuriated when Sour won a Grammy over this masterpiece.
Adele supremacy.
Her music is the moment.

Unstable - Tetrarch
-
Sometimes I Might Be Introvert - Little Simz
-
Roadrunner: New Light, New Machine - Brockhampton
-
Sour - Olivia Rodrigo
This is a great debut album by Olivia Rodrigo. I understand she may annoy some of you, but she truly deserves her success and is much better than Justin Bieber was at the same age.
This is a great album.
I see why some people would call her annoying. I thought she was really annoying at first and didn't get why people liked her, but I get it now.
I am always going to be a fan of Olivia and Billie! The best two singers in the world! My favorites, both number one, and I adore these two!

Pressure Machine - The Killers
If you love The Killers and haven't listened to this album yet, you are truly missing out on a wonderful gem. This is probably their finest album to date, although it's more intimate and less anthemic than their previous material. After Bruce Springsteen's Nebraska and Taylor Swift's Folklore and Evermore, here's The Killers' Pressure Machine. I was really blown away by the songwriting and the lush atmosphere of most songs on this album. A must-listen!

Surrounded by Time - Tom Jones

Magic Still Exists - Agnes
-
Call Me If You Get Lost - Tyler, the Creator

Ok Human - Weezer
Very different from what they used to do, but for once, there is no lack of taste at all. In fact, since Weezer is a group who likes to experiment, this is probably their best experimental record, at least outside of their "classic" (à la Blue Album) or "abrasive" (à la Pinkerton) sound.
After almost three decades, Weezer are still one of the most exciting rock bands of all time. I wonder what their next releases will be like.
Weezer are back! One of their most versatile albums ever.
