Best Beatles Guitar Solos
Paul started it off, followed by George, followed by John to make the perfect solo ever!
Emotive, melodious, complicated, yet at the same time laid back and almost like a conversation. Perfect.
1 - The solo itself is an amazing melody, and is by far the most outstanding part of the song
2 - The fact that two guitars were played in harmony brought something new and innovative to rock/pop music, and still sounds awesome.
3 - The solo is merely 15 seconds long, but creates a memorable melody and brings this full-sounding vibe to the song.
4 - The guitar tone is phenominal, it is echoey and reminiscent of guitar tones used in the ‘Help! ’ album, but has an acoustic-sounding flare with extra bass, it almost sounds like a double bass, but obviously much farther up in pitch. It sounds ragged and choir-like and is perfect for the song.
Fun Fact: This solo was actually the solo from the song "Taxman, " off of the same album "Revolver, " in reverse.
Love this song.
This is one of my favorite George solos because it works so well. There isn't a bad note in it.
