Top 10 Best Snoop Dogg Songs

Snoop burst onto the scene with his debut on Dr. Dre's The Chronic in 1992, where he instantly made waves with his effortless flow and swagger. A year later, he dropped his own debut album, Doggystyle, which was an immediate classic. Tracks from that record are still essential listening today, and they helped define the sound of West Coast rap for years. Snoop's ability to blend humor, storytelling, and hard-hitting lyrics has made his music both fun and iconic, cementing his spot as one of the greats.

Throughout his career, Snoop's collaborations have been just as important as his solo tracks. Whether it's teaming up with Pharrell, Dre, or even artists from outside the rap genre, Snoop has shown a versatility that few artists can match. His songs have crossed over into mainstream pop culture, making him a household name and solidifying his legacy.
The Top Ten
Gin and Juice

The flow and beat were perfected in this song, and the music video suited the song. This is truly Snoop's best song, but so is Vato.

Absolutely great lyrics. Snoop Dogg gives real meaning to hip-hop in this song. The beat is catchy, and Snoop Dogg defines a new style! Love it!

One of the best gangsta rap songs of all time. Snoop was so cool, charismatic, and laid back in the '90s, but what is this Snoop Lion crap!

Who Am I? (What's My Name)

This is Snoop Dogg's best song in his twenty years of hip-hop and western gangsta rap. Not only is this fact official (it gained the most recognition and certification on the Billboard 100), but it also contains the best quality rapping and content, perfectly describing his crime-filled life. The speed of his rapping is also most impressive in this song.

Gin and Juice is also up there, but no song in the western rap and hip-hop scene has ever been this strong, both statistically and personally.

Best Snoop song in my opinion. Some songs like Still D.R.E. and 2 of Amerikaz Most Wanted should be lower because this is supposed to be the best Snoop Dogg songs, not the best 2Pac and Dr. Dre songs.

Nuthin' but a 'G' Thang

Should be the first! Best instrument and flow. Snoop and Dre killed it. This song always made my day. Relaxing song. Sit back, relax, and strap on your seatbelt!

A lot of good options, but I had to go with this one. I still love Gin and Juice, Murder Was the Case, Still D.R.E., and Drop It Like It's Hot.

Absolute classic. One of the most iconic songs in history. It created a superstar.

Drop It Like It's Hot

Thumping beats coupled with a dose of perfect lyrics make this song an evergreen hit!

Very dope song! The lyrics are hot, and his voice is slick and nice.

The beat, the lyrics - this song should be in the top 5.

Still D.R.E.

We have to remember that Still D.R.E. is Dr. Dre's track and it just features Snoop Doggy Dogg. I understand why this is not among the top 10, but it is still a good song with all that gangsta rap feeling we love.

The beat of the song is just epic. I've been listening to it for years, and it's not getting boring. Awesome song!

Still the best of all the songs on the list and ever will be.

Murder Was the Case (Death After Visualizing Eternity)

Godlike instrumental. Great storytelling.

This song should be #1. I love this song.

The Next Episode

Best song ever, my favorite. One of the most underrated songs.

Amazing song with a famous Snoop Dogg line at the end!

This song defined a whole generation of rap.

2 of Amerikaz Most Wanted

Ain't nothing but a gangsta party. 2Pac and Snoop kill this track!

One of the best feats of all time!

The duo is eternally the most wanted!

Vato

One of Snoop's grittiest and gangsta songs. This track was perfectly produced by The Neptunes, and Snoop's flow, lyrics, and B-Real's catchy hook make this Snoop Dogg's best song to date.

Ain't No Fun (If the Homies Can't Have None)

Nate Dogg is the best part of this song.

Everyone is at the top of their game in this song. It's one for the lads.

The Newcomers

? Lavender Night Fall Remix
? Snoop Bounce
The Contenders
That's that S***
Beautiful

Can't understand why this is so low.

Young, Wild & Free

What a perfect collaboration with Bruno Mars and Wiz Khalifa.

GZ and Hustlas

What? This is one of the most dope and G songs of Mr. Snoop. This should definitely be in the top 10.

Definitely, this is the best song!

One of my favorites of all time.

Tha Shiznit

The version at Glastonbury 2010 is one of the greatest live performances of all time. It's Jerry Lee Lewis, it's the Sex Pistols, it's just so in your face.

Sandy, Glasgow UK.

Are you kidding me? Number 26? His flow in this is impeccable!

Flow, beat, mood. Perfect West Coast gangsta rap.

F*** Wit Dre Day
Bitch Please II
Signs
I Wanna Rock
Boss' Life
Bitch Please

Great beat, but not as good as Part II, to be honest. I was very surprised this wasn't even on the list. Xzibit and Snoop do really well on this song.

No Guns Allowed

One of the best songs I've ever heard. Love it!

The reason this song is so low is because it's Snoop Lion, not Snoop Dogg.

I don't get it. Why is this second to last? This is definitely in the top 10.

Doggfather

Great music, one of his gangsta rap songs. The beat was great, and the lyrics too. Wow, it should be on top...

This is one of my favorite songs. It should be in the top 10, in my opinion.

Great song and lyrics, Doggfather.

Gold Rush
Boom

Just straight-up cool. It's got the true 21st-century Snoop in it (2000-whenever he started this Rasta thing). The second best is 2 of Amerikaz Most Wanted (the best of the Doggy Dogg era, aka whenever he still had the Doggy in the middle).

When Snoop launches the rap, it is magic. He plays with words in the same way he plays with smoke. The way he rings the smoke is the way he rhymes. The rap sounds hysterical in a Snoop way - catchy and rhyming with a touch of Snoop's voice. This track is blunt! True blood.
