Best Song from Starbomb's Self Titled Album
As well as Ninja Sex Party, I am also quite partial to Starbomb, a band starring Ninja Sex Party and Arin "Egoraptor" Hansen. While Ninja Sex Party was primarily synth-pop, Starbomb takes a more rap based musical style and parodies many classic video games. This is a ranking of the songs from the first album made by them. The humour in this song was top notch, with the juxtaposition of Mario and Luigi being played to full effect here. The vocals of everyone were particularly amazing in this song.
I really enjoy the laid back tone of this song. The beat combined with the chilled out rapping by Arin gives the song an amazing tone, while the angelic singing of Dan gives the song so much power. The lyrics are also hilarious, though I won't go into it due to the explicit nature of the entire album.
I think this is the best one, even though I love Crasher-Vania and The Simple Plot of Final Fantasy a lot as well
The female voices that Starbomb gets are always spectacular, this being no exception. The surprise when we first found out that Samus is a woman makes for a great concept for a song, and this one was handled especially well.
The only song on the album to not be filled with sexual humour, Crasher-Vania is one of the most clever songs on the album. Arin's Dracula voice was surprisingly amazing and Dan makes an extremely good Simon Belmont.
The concept of the games with simple plots talk show added to what already was a decent song, sonce Dan's constant interjactions are hilarious. Also, when putting the main plot of FF7 into a 3 minute song, you realise just how ridiculous the FF games are.
The rapping in the song was great. The lyrics, while being quite immature, were extremely funny, especially the Ken verses, which were amazingly pathetic.
This song had so much packed into it, the fantasies of Mrs Megaman, the weaknesses of the robot masters, and a final confrontation with Zero, who wants to take Mrs Megaman for himself. All of it is funny.
I will make this one brief, the reason I both adore and simultaneously hate this song is based on one factor, the Pokemon puns. The song would be nothing without them, but some of them are so hilariously bad. Great song though
An underrated gem, this song is one of the more direct parodies of a franchise, and it pays off. It turns the innocent world of Animal Crossing into a dark, dark place, which is an acheivement considering its animal crossing, one of the most innocent games I have played.
I found the parts with Tails to be quite funny, this is easily one of the most crass songs on what is an extremely crass album. The one issue I have with it is the lack of melody that Dan has in this song as very little of Dan's amazing talent is utilized.
It was way too much for me to be able to enjoy. Even I found it quite disgusting
Was a great I like the way is basically telling a tail of is plot and how dan get angry and him
