Top 10 Best Songs Off Slipknot's ''We Are Not Your Kind''
Corey Taylor is amazing in this song. I also love the heaviness it has. It shows Slipknot stayed true to who they are.
"You want the real smile? I haven't smiled in years!"
That's how the song ends, and you can feel it in your bones for days afterward.
Not only the best song on We Are Not Your Kind, but one of their greatest songs of all time.
I actually don't like the chorus, though the rest of the song is lit.
The drums are purely awesome.
It's technically a single from the album, and it's the 15th bonus track on the Japanese edition.
You did well, Sid.
I bet people are going to look back and think of this as a classic just a couple of years from now. Just like Sulfur, Gematria, The Devil in I, Custer, and all those modern-sounding Slipknot songs. I love everything about this. No complaints, just pure emotion while listening to this song and this whole album overall.
One of the heaviest songs on the album. It's definitely top 3 for me.
Surprised it's not higher.
The atmosphere of this song just feels great.
Atmospheric and emotional.
Critically underrated.
The Newcomers
Honestly, this was my favorite track as someone who prefers when singers aren't screaming to death. I'm not saying the other tracks are bad, but for real, this album was unnecessarily hard for me. This song has an interesting and short progression that I haven't forgotten.
