Best Songs On Ozzy Osbourne's Diary of a Madman
Diary of a Madman is a legendary album by the iconic rock star Ozzy Osbourne. There are only eight songs on it, but it deserves its own list. So, here we go.
As a disclaimer, I've listened to Ozzy my entire life, so there's no reason to say I don't know what I'm talking about. I may be alone here, or I may not. I'm just putting it out there that I am experienced and that I love every Ozzy album. There are only a few songs of his that I don't like. The rest I cherish greatly.

Diary of a Madman
The title track doesn't necessarily pull the weight expected of a title track, but it's still great in every way and should be played live much more often.
Every song on this album is awesome! Ozzy's best!
-
Flying High Again
This song is about Ozzy's re-emergence as a solo artist after being fired from Black Sabbath. It kills it and should be among the best metal songs of all time.
-
Over the Mountain
The beastly introduction to Diary has sweet drumming, Randy's chugging riff, and a tune that gets stuck in your head. The first half of Diary is simply phenomenal.
-
Believer
Another killer bassline from Bob, another sick riff from Randy, and more heavy drumming from Lee. This is a cool song, but it feels a little drab, which is why it's lower on the list.

S.A.T.O.
S.A.T.O. stands for Sharon Arden Thelma Osbourne, with Sharon being his manager at the time and Thelma being his wife. I believe this was written for the most important women in his life at that moment. Epic song.
This song was originally going to be called Strange Voyage.

You Can't Kill Rock and Roll
A juicy mix of acoustic verses and hard-rocking choruses, You Can't Kill Rock and Roll pretty much describes Diary's ominous and amazing nature.
-
Tonight
Bob Daisley's bassline is the backbone of this song. While the ballad sounds somewhat like filler, it's a necessary listen. And don't get me started on how much I love the chorus.

Little Dolls
I like the drumming in the beginning, but the rest is a little odd to me. Although I enjoy it, it just doesn't make me as happy as I usually am while listening to Ozzy.
