French Caribbean islands also have many nice beaches. Even in the Indian Ocean, with Mayotte and wonderful coral reefs, Réunion, etc. No other European country can offer such beaches, and surely few in the whole world.
I know that France has Bora Bora and New Caledonia, as well as some Caribbean islands, but just the continental part of France is amazing. Sure, you could visit Paris, but you must visit the Mediterranean part of France. Nice, Cannes, French Riviera - so many nice beaches. On a side note, the beaches are crowded.

If you want crystal blue beaches, you have to go to Sardinia. It's like the Caribbean in Europe. I don't understand how people like beaches with buildings right beside them, like they do in Spain. You can't relax there with all the traffic noise and people. Beaches are supposed to be away from urban areas. The harder it is to get to the beach, the better.
You have not seen any beautiful beaches if you've never seen Sardinia. Sardinia offers a large variety of coastal landscapes, sandy and rocky beaches lapped by seawater with different shades of color. Many parts of the coast are still wild and very little crowded.
