Top 10 Countries With Best Fashion

The Top Ten
Italy

As an Italian, you don't notice how we dress until we go to other countries like the USA. I've had people come up to me and ask where I was going, dressed so nicely.

I think we Italians believe that looks matter, so dressing in fashionable clothes helps give an impression of beauty.

Italian fashion is the best in the world! Italy is home to the best fashion houses like Valentino, Versace, Prada, Armani, Dolce & Gabbana, Gucci, Fendi, Ferragamo, Trussardi, Moschino, Max Mara, Bottega Veneta, Cavalli, Missoni, Bulgari, Biagiotti, Patrizia Pepe, Benetton, Zegna, Tod's, and many more!

I love Italian fashion. Italy is the only country that has three fashion capitals in the top 10 of the world ranking: Milan in first place, Rome in fifth place, and Florence in tenth place.

France

France is the epitome of beauty. When fashion comes to mind, I always think of the French and how grandiose their garments are.

France is among the best, ranked 1st for luxury brands in the world. But for trendsetting, we agree England is on top.

Paris exerts a major influence on the world of fashion. This is notably due to its prestigious fashion weeks, the presence of renowned designers, significant businesses, and a rich cultural heritage, much of which can be found in its museums.

Besides Paris, the cradle of Haute Couture, which has been designated as a fashion capital for more than a century, other cities like London are noted for their blend of creativity and conservatism, street fashion, and traditional masculine fashion symbolized by Savile Row.

New York is recognized for its accessible fashion, and Milan is celebrated for its vibrant colors and long tradition of leather goods.

India

As challenging as it seems, I think India has come a long way as a country. Compared to other countries, I'm proud to say that with all its different types of people and the diversity in customs and traditions from one area to another, the states of India are like countries themselves.

India has achieved so much since its independence, despite the lack of interaction and understanding among its different peoples. It has managed to keep the country together, contributing to the diverse fashion and culture. As far as I know, no other country is as diverse as India.

Oh, did I mention that there are around 1200+ languages and dialects spoken by the people of India? If you take a bus ride for a mile, you might hear 20 different languages spoken by the time you reach your destination.

England

The USA is about two years behind England in fashion. England has some of the most famous fashion designers in the world. Then the USA copies, just like they do with everything else.

England is better than Italy for new, underground, fashionable, cool, trendy, up-to-date styles. As is England (UK) itself. Anyway...

England naturally. London has recently been voted the Fashion Capital of the World.

United States

America is the fashion capital of the world. This nation controls Hollywood and most modern media. The majority of the world bases its fashion on American media, from actors, singers, and models.

Even so, all fashion is relative. There is no absolute fashion. Every country considers theirs to be superior. However, the fact that the United States has the most diverse fashion biome on earth makes it top in my view.

I'm voting for this because the United States is a place of many cultures. Therefore, all cultures and their fashion blend into one big super mix of clothing.

Australia

Ok, I'll be honest with you. Australia isn't the best country in fashion, BUT we Aussies have created quite well-known fashion brands, like The Iconic.

Egypt
Spain

Spain has a lot of great designers and good brands, which you can see in people's style. Most visitors think Spanish people wear beautiful and elegant clothes, similar to our neighbors, France and Italy. Europe is the capital of fashion.

When I was in the USA, I was stunned by how people dressed, which was really bad and non-classy.

South Korea

America, I wouldn't say, has fashion, and this is coming from me, an American. Americans usually just wear T-shirts. South Korea, on the other hand, has good hairstyles and does more than one. Their clothing is good too.

If they went to a fancy place, they wouldn't just wear a tuxedo. Instead, it might be something like a red velvet suit. When they go out, they wear more than just T-shirts. Even if they do, they usually add more fashion to it. I don't understand why America is ranked 4th. Everyone I know wears T-shirts, and they don't look good in them. When you walk into a shop in America, the first thing you see is either grandma's prom dress or a T-shirt.

The Newcomers

? Vietnam

The Contenders
Japan

They are slightly better than South Korea. I think Japan should be #6, and South Korea should stay at #8 always. Japanese style is pretty good, in my opinion. Kenzo is the best fashion brand of all time.

They are actually better than South Korea! Their fashion ranks before the United States. Japan has the 3rd largest market in the world.

Japan, specifically Tokyo, is number one in fashion.
