1 Olivia Rodrigo
She has a really good singing voice, but her songs sound about as bland as any other pop song on the Billboard Hot 100. Maybe she should talk with the producers about that. She's a newcomer, but that won't stop me from criticizing how basic and unoriginal "Driver's License" is. I can play that song easily on the piano without sheet music because it's slow-tempo and kind of boring.
Hands down most overrated music artist of 2021. She is decent but gets way too much hype and people treat her like she's Jesus Christ. Other than pop, her album Sour is labeled as genres like "emo", "pop punk", and "grunge" but sounds NOTHING like those genres. People compare her to people like Hayley Williams and Avril Lavigne, and her voice sounds much weaker and those two people.
Overhated on this site, overrated everywhere else.
2 Cardi B
Belcalis Marlenis Almánzar, known professionally as Cardi B, is an American rapper, songwriter, television personality and former stripper.
I do not understand why she gets so much praise. She has a really annoying voice and can't rap. I would rather listen to nails on a chalkboard than her voice.
Her music only sounds good when you're drunk, stoned, or cross-faded at a party and you don't care about the lyrics. I say this because the lyrics in her songs are always about the same thing; being a "bad bitch", using her sex appeal to repeat songs about getting laid, making generic statements about how much material wealth she has, and nothing else.

4 Lil Nas X
He's good, but not great. He's just really overrated because everybody acts like he's the future of rap music, which he isn't. It's not even rap music most of the time; it's more like pop music with hip-hop elements mixed in and sometimes with other genres such as country (Old Town Road; the song that boosted him to popularity). I'm not gonna hate on him though. The only reason he's hated is because the Christian Right is triggered by the Montero X (Call Me by Your Name) music video and the fact that he's gay, which shouldn't even be an issue in 2021.

Didn't know she was still relevant, but she's basically one of those artists that steals other songs or copycats the vibe of other songs. I'm surprised she hasn't been sued for copyright violations.

The only reason why she's number 10 on my subjective list that she's FINALLY not as relevant as she used to be, which is a good thing. Her music is such normie beta trash that appeals to over-emotional white girls in High School.
