Top 10 Best PlayStation 5 Games

Boasting ultra-high-speed SSD, support for haptic feedback, adaptive triggers, and 3D Audio, the PlayStation 5 is Sony's most powerful console to date. It's set new standards for gaming, offering players immersive and breathtaking experiences. But with such a vast array of titles to choose from, the question arises - what are the best PlayStation 5 games?

The PS5, with its top-tier specs, has allowed game developers to push the envelope further than ever before. From photorealistic graphics that make every detail pop, to buttery-smooth frame rates ensuring the action never skips a beat, each game leverages the capabilities of the console in unique ways. But it's not just about the technicalities. A truly great game also tells a compelling story, has engaging gameplay, and creates memorable experiences that stay with you long after you've put the controller down.

Whether it's a sprawling open-world adventure that lets you explore every nook and cranny, a nail-biting horror that keeps you on the edge of your seat, or a complex strategy game that challenges your decision-making skills, the PS5 has got you covered. The console's upgraded hardware and new controller features, such as haptic feedback and adaptive triggers, have opened up new ways of experiencing these stories, making you feel more connected to the game than ever before.

So, how do we define the best PlayStation 5 game? Is it the game that exploits the full potential of the console's hardware to deliver stunning visuals and seamless gameplay? Or is it the game that draws you in with a gripping narrative and well-developed characters? Maybe it's the one that innovates, offering new mechanics and experiences that change the way we think about gaming.
The Top Ten
Devil May Cry 5: Special Edition
Marvel's Spider-Man: Miles Morales
God of War Ragnarök
Final Fantasy XVI

Best Sony game yet, with Twisted Metal Black - great stuff!

Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War
Astro's Playroom
Grand Theft Auto V
Saints Row (2022)
Horizon Forbidden West
Demon's Souls

Very good remake, and the graphics look amazing.

The Newcomers

? Final Fantasy VII Rebirth
? The Stanley Parable: Ultra Deluxe

Not your typical gaming experience. Without spoiling too much here, The Stanley Parable doesn't really ask too much of its players in terms of gameplay. Just set your path and let the narrator follow you.

With seemingly endless options, The Stanley Parable deconstructs video game narratives like few others.

The Contenders
Resident Evil Village

Amazing game. The designs of the levels are insanely detailed and well laid out. The sound design is amazing as usual and will always keep you on your toes.

One of the best parts of this game that I like is the variety and designs of the enemies. I mean, they look so cool and have real depth, not just some mindless AI. The combat has improved a lot since RE7, and there is a lot of variety in the weapons, even some secret weapons that I don't want to spoil, which are badass.

Story-wise, the game was pretty good, although it can get confusing unless you've played the previous game, RE7. 10/10 in my book and highly recommend trying it out if you like RE7.

Mortal Kombat 11
Final Fantasy VII Remake: Intergrade
Assassin’s Creed Valhalla

Valhalla isn't as bloated and grindy as Odyssey. I'd say Ubisoft did a great job. Plus, who doesn't like Vikings?

Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order
Ratchet & Clank: Rift Apart
Hitman 3

Love the game. This trilogy of games has been awesome.

Nice way to wrap up this awesome trilogy.

Far Cry 6
Borderlands 3
Outriders
DIRT 5
Bugsnax

I love this game. It's so creative and, well, different! The art style is both weird and cute at the same time. Overall, Bugsnax is a very good game.

Baldur's Gate 3
Destroy All Humans! 2 - Reprobed
Ghostrunner
