In April 2018 Jon Schaffer said "2019 Is Realistic For Next Demons and Wizards Album".
I think it depends on whether Blind Guardian album is almost ready or not because it would be too much for Hansi to write and record songs for 2 albums at once, considering the complexity of songs and vocal tracks of his songs.
