Top 10 Cheesiest Indie Pop Rock Songs

This list shows the cheesiest songs from indie pop rock, one of the rock-related genres that remains popular today. And even though I don't consider Twenty One Pilots rock, they have been associated with indie pop and alternative rock, so I will include them because of that.

  1. Adventure of a Lifetime - Coldplay

    I talked about this song before on other lists, and that's because I can't stand it because of how poppy and cheesy it is.

    Absolutely terrible, but not as bad as A Sky Full of Stars.

  2. Ride - Twenty One Pilots

    For one, they use the millennial whoop in this song, so the chances of this song being good and not being cheesy went out the window right there. Second, this song's chorus is also very generic and cheesy. The lyrics are also painfully cheesy.

    The vocals are so bloody annoying.

    The worst song that TØP made. Listen to Car Radio and Holding On to You. They are the best songs that TØP has made. -DarkBoi-X

    This song's lyrics are incredibly repetitive and cheesy, and the same goes for the instrumentation.

  4. Girls - The 1975

    This song is very annoying, and the lyrics and instrumentation are so poppy that it hurts.

    The 1975 are lame as hell.

  5. Kids - OneRepublic

    This song has incredibly sappy lyrics, to the point that it's not even funny. The song also oozes with cheese.

  6. Thunder - Imagine Dragons

    Just so annoying. It should be higher.

  7. Tiptoe - Imagine Dragons

    This song is an amazingly cheesy dance song.

  8. Stressed Out - Twenty One Pilots

    This song's lyrics are so cheesy and sappy that it's not even funny.

  9. Apologize - OneRepublic

    I've heard this song so many times that sometimes I think if I have to hear it one more time, I'll want to go deaf. This song is incredibly repetitive and cheesy, both in lyrics and instrumentation.

    The lyrics are dumb, but I don't mind the song overall.

    This song's electronic beat is so cheesy, sappy, and poppy. The lyrics and instrumentation are also incredibly poppy.

    Worst Coldplay song by far, and they sucked to begin with.

    Songs don't get sappier than this song right here very often. This song's lyrics are also very poppy and cheesy.

    This is so cheesy, but it's probably the only ID song I can tolerate.
