I think this band (Flametal) is still the only representative of this subgenre but I am not sure.

Great song but the flamenco part is too small to put it higher. The flamenco interlude was played by Yes guitarist Steve Howe who had come to visit them and was asked to play.

Flamenco metal (instrumental, 2014).
This song starts with a short flamenco intro, followed by a thrash metal riff, continues with power/speed metal drumming, adds some prog metal sections, and of course - more flamenco. Guess what - I absolutely love it!
Extreme progressive metal band but their lead guitarist is trained in flamenco guitar (and their awesome lead singer is a trained violinist. Love this band! Play the song sample to hear both the flamenco guitar and the violin)
